Is it possible to have under 5 star service and quality at any Chick-fil-A?? Doubtful. Always a good feeling knowing I'm going to get great food and excellent service. I love Chick-fil-A!

I went there this morning and got a free card to get a breakfast sandwich and when I got to open it, it was burnt but normally I wouldn't mind, but I took a bite and it wasn't good at all. The workers were nice and there wasn't a problem with anything but just the food. It was burnt on all the edges of the sandwich and along with the bottom of the bottom bread.

I grabbed a salad on my lunch break from work since this location was nearby. As I was about to take a bite of my salad I noticed something weird. I looked down and was appalled to see that my chicken was RAW. This is absolutely disgusting. Can you imagine how my body would've reacted if I actually ate it? I am extremely disappointed as I love going to Chick fil A. But I will definitely not be coming back.

    Forgot my food

Worst chick fil a I have ever been in. This is the 3rd time I have gone to this location and they have forgotten my food. I just need to stop trusting that they are doing there job and check my bag. Ridiculous. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been loyal customer for 25 years. This specific location. Horrible.

I usually eat chick fil a about 1-2 times a week and love it. But today i am Leaving 2 stars because usually my order is correct and service is good; however, at my last visit i did a mobile order and went thru drive thru to pick it up. I had prepaid for 2 meals and a drink and i received someone else's order. The order i got was a bowl of eggs with cheese and fried nuggets in it. I'm allergic to cheese so i had to throw this order away. I then sent in a feedback email through the app where i ordered and received a response the next day and all they gave me was a free chicken sandwich coupon... seriously? My original order was 2 meals and i got something i couldn't even eat. What a waste. Their management needs to change. By looking at the other reviews i will not be back. The CFA on Eldridge is better.

Best Sliders in Houston - Fresh and Delicious Every Time!…read more I stopped by Chubbies Sliders at 14775 Memorial Dr in Houston's Energy Corridor, and wow, it exceeded all expectations! This spot is a gem for anyone craving perfect little burgers and more - fast-casual done right with a focus on quality. The standout for me is how everything is cooked to order and delivered hot and fresh - no soggy or lukewarm food here! I got the Combo 3 with a mix of sliders: the classic Chubbie (juicy beef patty, grilled onions, American cheese, and that addictive Chubbie sauce), the Rodeo Clown (with bacon, onion ring, and cheddar - pure indulgence), and the Firecracker for a spicy kick. Each one was perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor on those soft buns. The crispy fries were spot-on - hot, golden, and nicely salted - and paired amazingly with the sliders. I also tried the house-breaded chicken tenders, which were crunchy outside and juicy inside. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the whole meal hit the spot without feeling heavy. The place is clean, the staff is super friendly and efficient (even during a busy lunch rush), and it's great for takeout or a quick bite. Mostly carry-out vibe with a few seats, but that's perfect for the fresh-made focus. Chubbies has quickly become my go-to for sliders in Houston. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try it - you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend!

Interesting…read moreconcept, as the only other slider "restaurant" that comes to mind is White Castle, to which I haven't been so cannot speak to how this compares. I placed an online order - it quoted my food to be ready in 15 minutes but I got the text that it was ready in just 7 minutes. Fast service! When you pull up, it's a bit hidden in the strip center so keep an eye out for the Chubbies sign or you might unknowingly drive past. The restaurant itself is very small with only a few tables for dining in, so I think it's meant to be more of a takeout place. My food was ready for me to pick up on the shelf to the right of the counter. I was able to get additional napkins and ketchup at the adjacent self-serve station. I got the Chubbie and Rodeo Clown sliders with a side of fries. Total came out to just over $11 after tax which is pretty reasonable for lunch. The Chubbie is their classic slider, patty with cheese and diced onions. The Rodeo Clown was a patty with cheese, bacon, and onion ring. These came with a side of their house Chubbie sauce for dipping. I did like the Rodeo Clown much more because of the add-ons for the same price as the Chubbie. Nonetheless, both sliders tasted good and with the side of fries, I was content. I will say that the real deal was a bit of a disappointment compared to the photos they have on their online menu. IRL, the sliders appeared smaller and flatter. The fries were standard straight cut fries served in a paper bag. I do wish that they would have at least put the fries in a cup or butcher paper inside the bag, because all the grease got soaked up in the paper bag and made for a bit of a mess. I hope that this place makes it, as the employee (owner?) working the counter when I came in seemed like a genuine guy who was happy to help. I'd love to try more of their sliders as well as the chicken tenders because I read that these are massive!

This time I called in an order for tallarines saltados and two whole chickens for my family. They told me it would be ready in an hour, which was fine. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner handed me the food and casually said he replaced my tallarines with lomo saltado -- without asking me first. He said it was "a better choice" and that they were out of tallarines. I told him clearly that I did not want lomo saltado, but he kept insisting, so I just took it to avoid arguing. When we got home, the real problem started -- both chickens were undercooked, tough, and hard to chew. It was so bad that I told my kids and family not to eat any of it, and I ended up throwing everything in the trash. I paid good money for this meal, and we didn't get to eat at all. Changing an order without consent and serving raw chicken is not acceptable. I won't be coming back.

One thing that really stood out, and I haven't seen many restaurants do this -- is that they offer you a small sample of the food before you order. That little touch made a huge difference! It helped me decide on the right heat level for my chicken and narrow down which sides I wanted. Such a simple gesture, but so thoughtful. I ordered the H-Town wings with the hot honey sauce and a side of their homemade ranch -- and WOW. The wings were incredible, and that ranch? Delicious doesn't even cover it. I also ordered the leg and thigh Korean style, and while the flavor was amazing, it was a bit too saucy for my taste. I hate sending food back, but I knew I wasn't going to eat it -- so I did. And let me tell you, they handled it with such grace and kindness. No attitude, no awkwardness -- just genuine, outstanding customer service. That right there says everything about the kind of establishment Tumble 22 is. I couldn't even finish everything (portions are generous!), but the leftovers reheated perfectly in the air fryer the next day. I will absolutely be back -- especially for those H-Town wings. The oxtail, stewed chicken with gravy, smothered rib tips, meat loaf, and their über famous honey glazed wings and meatballs are fabulous. Their sides of dressing, sweet candied yams, mac and cheese, and fried green tomatoes make for a perfectly complete meal. Even the cornbread is outstanding, which is really saying something. I'd be remiss not to mention their incredibly underrated desserts. The peach cobbler is fire, pound cake and banana pudding are excellent, and their triple layered German-chocolate cake floored me. To be honest the service is slow and at times they're rude and don't wanna do their job. One of the only positive things I can say is that even though the service is slow, the food comes out hot & fresh. I would hope so since they're not busy. My to go orders are usually the 3 piece campus with either mash potatoes, red beans and rice, collard greens & dirty rice. Or I'll get their 3 piece catfish. Sometimes I'll get the dessert (peach cobbler & sweet potato pie). While the chicken comes out hot & fresh. There is zero seasoning on the chicken itself. Not even a pinch of salt. They rely on the batter for flavor. Don't get me wrong the batter is salty & delicious for my palate but the chicken is so bland. Collard greens are uninspiring & boring but edible. Mash potatoes taste just fine but their gravy adds a layer of flavor. Red beans and rice once again, flavorless & they always give you one measly piece of sausage. Their dirty rice is a little dry but not bad. Now for the catfish I actually enjoy it. The batter is the same as their chicken & the fish itself is moist and juicy. The desserts feel like it's store bought and not made in house but it's bearable. Overall, this location ain't it. It's located next to a gas station & the area itself isn't safe. The inside of the restaurant isn't clean either. Lazy & rude employees don't make it any better. If you want some good Frenchy's go to the one on 3rd ward.
