I work near Bread Zepplin, our office orders from here on occasion, so I finally gave it a try. Chose to dine-in this past Sunday, and was met with disappointment. If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side. read more

So this has been all over TikTok for me and I have been craving it!! Finally, a location in Houston by my place in Memorial. So I have tried the regular Caesar sandwich and the cojito- def love the cojito it's a bit of a Tex-Mex Caesar salad taste. Either way what they do is with the bread they pull the inside of the bread out and fill it with a salad, which is a sandwich portion so they don't open the bread up and slice it. This makes it kind of like a baguette situation love the idea so fresh and so crunchy! I need the app. They were so sweet inside that we got to try the tea before we purchased. read more

Bread Zepplin is a unique concept that takes your sandwich to another level. They fill their hollowed out baguettes with your choice of salad/ meat. It's a very fun concept! This place is like counter service and they are very quick. We ordered for pickup and our order was ready in 15 mins. This location is right off of I-10 near memorial city. They have a beautiful, bright interior and the restaurant is very clean. We ordered multiple items and each item was 5/5. I got the Tejano Caesar Zeppelin which comes with cojita cheese, jalapeños, house tortilla strips and romaine. I got this with the Caesar dressing and steak and it was amazing. The perfect ratio of meat to fillings. The bread here is amazing. My girlfriend got the bowl with a baguette on the side because she wasn't a believer of the Zeppelin but she ate the whole baguette after finishing her bowl. She got the Peruvian grain bowl which comes with brown rice, peppers, corn salad, and pickled red onions. We also got the Atlantis Zeppelin which is a Mediterranean zeppelin with cucumbers, chicken, tomatoes, olives, banana peppers and onions. This was also a 5/5 zeppelin. Pro tip here: if you get a zeppelin, ask for the insides of your baguette on the side. The bread here is so fluffy and fresh. Also we ordered 4 chocolate chip cookies for dessert from here and they were soft and fluffy. Would recommend grabbing a cookie with your meal. This is a great spot if you're looking for something fast and delicious for lunch or dinner. Get the zeppelin because that's what they're known for and ask for the inside of the bread on the side! I am a sucker for a good sandwich so I knew had to try Bread Zeppelin. They are definitely trending and having a moment right now, and since there is one close to my job, I decided to give it a try this Friday. Around 12:15 pm they had a solid lunch crowd. The parking lot was a little hectic since there are so many businesses in one area but I got lucky and snagged a spot right in front. There were a few people in line, but it moved quickly. I really liked their concept of salads inside the bread. They hollow out the loaf and turn it into a bowl and fill it with the salad. I kept it simple with a Caesar Bread Zeppelin with chicken and added avocado and bacon. It was so delicioussssssss! It definitely hit the spot. I genuinely loved this concept, and it somehow made me feel less guilty eating a sandwich with "less bread." Probably totally psychological.... but still a win! Now, to address some of the most common concerns I have seen. Is the bread hard? Not really. Does it hurt the roof of your mouth? Kinda. I am not sure if it was the crunchy bread itself or the croutons inside, but I definitely felt it. I will say, the gentleman making my sandwich did warn me that a lot of people find the croutons too hard and I still told him to keep them. The staff were friendly. Food and drinks: Marriage of salad and baguette is a cool concept as you get the best of both worlds. The selections of salads were good. You can choose from pre designed options or build your own salads. Baguettes are warmed up before serving which is a bonus. I tried the Peruvian grain madly salad. Unfortunately, many grains were dry and hard to bite on. Other ingredients in the salad tasted okay. Wouldn't opt for this salad again. They offer good selection of soft drinks and reverse osmosis drinking water. Having filtered water in H Town is a must so that was great to see. The only disappointment was the fact that they don't serve the salads in the metal bowls that the ingredients are mixed in if you decide to stay and eat inside the place. The food is transferred to a plastic container before serving it. It makes sense for to go orders but not for dining in. Not very sustainable or environmentally friendly. I went after a nearby appointment and wasn't disappointed. My main dissatisfaction was with parking, but that's not their fault. After a once-around, I found a spot right in front of the restaurant. I was a little confused how the menu works, but essentially you order a salad and have the option for straight salad or in a hollowed-out French roll. I'm a bread-guy so I opted for the bread. I asked the worker if she was goi g to be able to stuff all of the salad inside and she showed me near the end that it was indeed possible and indeed she had. I was impressed. I ordered a Cobb salad (but they had about 15 or more salad choices), but with a different dressing than it normally came with. It was delicious. Cold salad paired with delicious bread. Magical. Service was fast, even at lunchtime and the staff was friendly and answered questions without being miffed. Is a salad, drink and chips worth $20? This is a great concept and easier way to hold and eat your salad. The ingredients are great and the bread is crispy and slightly chewy. Planning to try all the different salads. Favorite so far is Washington. My only feedback would be to 86 the breaded chicken and breaded shrimp as options. I've tried them both and don't feel they are a good offer. Perhaps it would be better to offer blackened chicken or shrimp in lieu of breaded chicken or shrimp as options or just stick with the regular chicken or just cocktail shrimp instead. read more

I ordered the Southwest Zeppelin, which was decent but a bit bland; the chicken did not seem to be seasoned, and the overall flavor could have used a little more kick. The staff on the line were friendly, but the cashier and the person taking orders seemed a bit indifferent. I mentioned it was my first time there, but I didn't receive any suggestions or an explanation of the menu, which would have been helpful. Trying a new place can be a little overwhelming without some guidance.
