Yes, yes, yes! My family and I were all blown away by how satisfying salad stuffed inside bread could be. Initially, we thought it was worth a try, it's a pretty cool concept. The staff were so welcoming, accommodating and helpful. I didn't feel rushed into a decision, since it was our first time, we had a few questions. My questions were answered promptly with a smile. When we moved to the next part of the station after ordering, we were offered options as to how we wanted the salad dressed. I ordered the kids Caesar for my daughters and it was plenty of food. It came with chips and a drink! Overall, the portion sizes, taste and quality of the ingredients really sets this place apart from the competition. Bring your appetite because you'll need it for sure! Chicken Tinga 5/5 Chicken Caesar 5/5 Break pudding 5/5 Tea 5/5 Chip options 5/5

If you've never tried this place, this is your sign to ASAP! It's located in a strip center in Houston. There's plenty of parking available there. You walk in and there's plenty of seating open. My sister and I came here for lunch on a Thursday and there were a few people here, but it wasn't overly full. I decided on the chicken Caesar zeppelin ($9.99) and my sister got the Atlantis zeppelin ($11.49). The people working there are so friendly and so kind. We were having a lovely conversation with the one of the ladies that worked there. The bread was so warm and tasted super fresh. It wasn't super hard like some other places. The Caesar salad was to die for! Everything tasted so fresh and like it was made in house. They put in homemade croutons, which added a delicious crunch to the zeppelin. I devoured that sandwich so fast. They had delicious desserts available, which I didn't get, but plan to next time for sure! This is such a unique concept to hollow out the bread and fill it with the salad. It keeps it from not falling out and doesn't feel super heavy, because the inside of the bread is taken out. I will definitely be back here, because wow I was so impressed with this place. So worth it and the prices are great!

Yall.... this place is an absolute yes! If you like Salata you'll LOVE Bread Zeppelin. You can choose one of their menu salads or build your own to be stuffed inside a huge, delicious baguette type roll. Price point is reasonable for the portion size. Wish there was a location closer to me because I'll certainly be back.

Came across bread Zeppelin on social media and wanted to try it for myself. Inside the store there is a bunch of seating options with a drink station, and the salad bar. If you don't want to wait in line there is two order kiosk that you can place your orders at and there is also a to go station next to it to pick up your orders. I decided to try a build your own Zepplin this time around and got cucumbers, pickled onions, corn, Arcadian mix lettuce, and chicken as my protein. I didn't realize that the protein was an extra charge so I feel like the better option is to go with a preset salad because with the build your own, it only comes with four toppings unless you do not want a protein of course. When choosing your salad dressing you are allowed to sample the different flavors. I sampled the Tejano Caesar dressing and they even gave me some of the bread scraps to dip it with which I thought was very unique and cool. I was very curious as to what they use the bread scraps for and they told me that they actually use it for their house made croutons and bread pudding, which is very resourceful. My friend went with the Metropolitan club salad and it was delicious. The salad itself was light, paired with the satisfying crust of the baguette. The bread was toasted perfectly and hollowed out very nicely. Overall I enjoyed my experience and getting to finally try the zeppelin. I will have to be back to try their other salad options.

I literally drive by this spot a few times a week, and even though I'm driving behind it (on Westpark), they're signage in their back parking lot always intrigues me... one because it's a trendy sign, but also because I'm a Led Zeppelin fan, but also.... Because I love bread Deciding to pop in for a quick bite for lunch on a Friday, I was surprised by how spacious the interior is, and I was surprised that there were no patrons and 5-6 workers. Within minutes this place was packed with The restaurant is immaculate. Everything has a place, and the colors, displays, fixtures, decor, etc are all appealing. This feels like a trendy salad spot, and I'm honestly surprised I don't see more of them around Their literal BREAD and butter (pun intended) is salad bowls. They offer salads without bread, but a zeppelin is a unique bread bowl where you get a hollowed out baguette to enjoy. There are also soups and options for kids like a "half zeppelin" The menu offers classics like Caesar, southwest, etc, but they also have plenty of signature salads to choose from. You can also build your own with so many choices of veggies and dressings. They also have chips, drinks, cookies, and right on brand... BREAD pudding You order with the staff and they will ask you some questions to see about modifications. You can order through the app OR try their user friendly kiosks by the to-go station The salad I had (southwest) was very tasty. I wasn't sure how I would feel about a bread bowl like this, but it works really well as a salad sandwich because the bread is so thin and lightly toasted. It is an interesting juxtaposition having the cold salad components and the warm crispy baguette The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I know they've been open for a while, but it was the staff service level you might find on opening weekend... everyone was on point, and you were well taken care of. Also, from the time I ordered to when I received my order was less than 2 minutes Some tips: Join their rewards programs for exclusive deals and free stuff. I noticed that many people were ordering togo through the app. They also offer catering for all your party and business needs. Once you order through the app for the first time you will get $5 off. This isn't the cheapest salad spot as roughly $13 for a zeppelin, but the experience is well worth it Cheers!!

Wow. The concept of this place feels glutinous in the best way possible. I built my own zeppelin and it was so delicious and honestly I enjoyed so much how indulgent it felt even though I was basically eating a salad. I don't even like salad. Will dream about this. My order: kale, crispy onions, edamame, peppadew peppers, parmesan, avocado, and avocado ranch. With the bread innards on the side.

Been wanting to try this place for some time now. I ordered the classic caesar zeppelin with chicken and had high expectations with all the TikTok videos I've seen. However this sandwich was just okay. The bread was good, crunchy at first. But as I continued to eat the sandwich the bread got extremely soggy. The salad had way too much dressing and the crouton to chicken ration was so off. I had way too many croutons and very few pieces of chicken. The croutons were too hard and salty I ended up picking out all the croutons.

Honestly everything Is pretty good, wouldn't say the sandwich blew me away. However I think it's perfect the way it is. I could def see me being addicted to this place. Establisment was clean. Got the Caesar chicken salad Zeppelin. It could've been stuffed more but I did do pick up. Will be back to try more flavors.

So delicious, it was a recommendation from my sister. BEST ONE YET! Placed an online order, easy and fast pick up. Not crowded at all, very spacious. Food was fresh and so delicious. Staff is amazing! Shout out to sam!

I really like Bread Zeppelin, and I have eaten a few years ago at another location. The interior of this one is spacious, nice and bright, but I was a little confused by the computers at the front that you could apparently order from. Do I order here, or with a warm body? My husband decided to go to the counter and bypass the computer to order. I ordered the Southwest, I think. The food came out fast and it was so delish! I love that the meat and veggies are inside the bread, it makes it so much easier to eat. The workers were patient and helpful, and I love that they have a huge shared parking lot with other establishments, as there were no issues parking whatsoever. Will def be back.

Bread Zeppelin is a cute salad bar option with great bread. Please note that while you can get the salad stuffed in the bread, you can also get the bread complimentary with your salad if you ask! Walking inside is indeed a little confusing, as you can order from the computers at the front if you know what you would like, but if it is your first time (like me!) you can also order from the bar as you would a typical salad bar. The staff was incredibly kind and let me try different sauces to see which salad I would end up picking. I ended up choosing the Tejano Ceasar salad, which was like a regular ceasar, but with a bit of a spicy kick. The baguette was also great quality bread in my opinion, and I loved mixing little pieces of it in my salad. I would come here again!

    Pacific Beach Zeppelin
    Vi D.

The bread here is absolutely amazing!! I love the concept of salad inside a baguette, healthy and yummy too. Bread Zeppelin executed it flawlessly - bread is hot & crunchy, salad ingredients are fresh, and they have so many dressings to choose from. I didn't get any dressing because I felt like the protein (chicken) was seasoned well enough. I got the Pacific Beach, which includes avocado, romaine, tomato, artichoke hearts, cucumber. There's also the option to build your own salad or zeppelin. This location is spacious and clean. I really like how tables are not spaced too close to each other. The staff here is very friendly & helpful. My group came in on their customer's appreciation day with the 50% off offer. We were helped with instructions on how to claim to offer on the app. A great experience! I'll definitely be back

Our food also came with injera. Everything was really tasty; the chicken was tender and the lamb had a nice kick to it (we got the medium spice level). The honey tea was what really won me over. It was sweet and had a roasted flavor that reminded me of brown rice/genmaicha tea. I ended up buying a bottle of it to take home. Our server was also very nice and helpful! There is an attached parking lot to the side. We came around 7:30pm on a Monday and it was quite empty. The interior is very spacious and cozy feeling.

Ah man... where do I even begin?…read more We arrived around 8:05 PM, and our order was taken right away. We ordered 4 beef sambusas and 1 vegetable sambusa as appetizers. After 10 minutes, nothing. Another 10 minutes passed, still nothing. The restaurant wasn't even busy, just one family there before us. We finally got our appetizers at 8:28 PM, and at that point we still hadn't received our entrees. Another 10 minutes went by with no food. We tried to be patient, but we were really hungry and had driven all the way from Katy for this. My mom was fasting, and we were expecting a nice dinner, but the experience was honestly disappointing. Our entrees didn't arrive until 8:48 PM. We ordered the lamb injera, and it was honestly terrible. It had no seasoning, no salt, and just looked like it had some yellow coloring. The injera itself was cold, almost icy in some spots. On top of that, there were barely any meat pieces, maybe 4-5 small pieces, which is ridiculous for a dish that costs around $27-28. We also ordered a chicken dish, which was actually the only decent part of the meal. But it's definitely not worth coming here just for that. The prices here are high, and we were fine paying for good food. The problem was the long wait time and the poor quality. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

It has indoor and outdoor seating and it's just a lot of fun to go to. The staff is friendly and a lot of of them dress up like elves and hobbits, though don't go looking for anybody being well-versed in Tolkien lore. It's been about a decade since my last review of Govinda's shortly after they first opened so it's…read morehigh time that I finally update that review after being a repeat customer over that time. Lots of things changed but Govinda's largely stayed the same. The decor hasn't changed but there is some wear and tear on the walls. Still clean, food still reliably good and has the homemade taste. They change up the menu daily and now they have 3 all vegan menu days to the week: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Plus, weekdays have a themed specials that aren't necessarily Indian. They post their menus online but weekday menus are posted the day of on their menu Instagram "ghmenu". Weekend menus are typically posted on Thursday. They are still a buffet so service is minimal but it is pretty good but no frills. Unfortunately, they got rid of their salted lassi years ago so they only have mango lassi now along with mint lemonade for cold drinks. Price has gone up as well to around $18 (a little more for holidays and weekends) per person but that's to be expected. Carry out is $16.95 per meal (large take out container plus a soup, roti, salad, papadam, and dessert). You can opt of out of items but you'll still pay the same price. In the past decade, I still love their food but I can no longer eat as much to make it worth it to dine in so we've been getting take out (we took a brief break from buffets but I missed them so we went the take out route). One take out meal lasts me 2 meals at home so it's a no brainer (husband finishes the take out container in one sitting though). Plus, I have kids now and they definitely aren't good eaters so it didn't make sense for them to eat in. Over the last few months in Houston, we typically go once every 2-3 weeks because my picky kids absolutely love their saag paneer. I got them al a carte saag paneer ($10 for a half container, $5 for a half container of rice, $7 for a small container of an entree) until someone there suggested I just order an entree because it's the same price but you get more. And their plastic containers are limited. I started doing it but then one day, the main guy (manager?) wasn't happy since the big container was just rice, saag paneer, and maybe a little bit of dal makhani. I was a little miffed because if we ate in and all they ate was saag paneer, it would be okay. That aside, I noticed someone mentioned food allergies. The reason why I order Al a carte and segregate their take out container is because my youngest is allergic to wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, avocado, pineapple, and kiwi. Their food is usually labeled but I like asking to be sure. On days they serve something that contains nuts, we just don't go (unless it's only in the dessert). My kids usually like the same things and we only go on non-vegan days. The general consensus is vegan days' food tends to be spicier. My youngest is okay with spice, but my eldest who is super picky won't eat it if it's too spicy. Plus, I love their makai kofta. If I'm in town and I see they have makai kofta, we are THERE. However, I noticed that their menu isn't always set in stone. One day, they didn't have my favorites but we went because I didn't want to cook and THEY HAD MALAI KOFTA. I was so pleased. If you love potatoes, their batada vada is divine (but moderately spicy). I also enjoy the BBQ tofu but they usually only offer it on vegan days so I haven't had it in a long while. They have special menus on holidays but they're vegan so I have unfortunately never tried any holiday menus. We moved but when I'm in town, we make sure to drive up north to eat here at least once. We absolutely miss Govinda's and my kids ask for their beloved saag paneer even when we're not in Houston. I should ask if they can part with the recipe! Haha.... We ordered catering in 2024 for my eldest's birthday! Even the non-vegetarians enjoyed it and you get a lot of food for less than $500. You choose from certain dishes but it still covered many of my Govinda favorites, if not all. Honestly, we'd do it again just for fun with close friends and family and have leftovers for at least a week after splitting it up with everyone. Price has probably increased though.

As soon as I walked in at lunch time, the restaurant was damn near empty with only two families. The host immediately sat me at a table front of the buffet line. There was a strong lingering smell of pine-sol and Mr. Clean in the air. Of course, that indication told me that the restaurant was clean. The items on the buffet line was plenty, but limited. I got the rice, tofu curry, chaat marsala, and some vegetables. Everything except for the chaat was bland. It wasn't very easy to eat while the smell of cleaning supplies was in the air. It reminded me of sitting in a bucket of cleaning chemicals while eating a meal. The tofu curry tasted only like turmeric, but no salt or pepper or anything. The rice was super bland. The chaat marsala was very tasty and well seasoned. I finished off with desserts which both options were tasty. I hope to return to try their holiday menu, but I think today was a bad day for the cooks.

I'd heard some rave reviews from friends and decided to check this place out a few months ago, and went again today. The restaurant is a decent size with ample seating - booths and regular tables. There's also an outdoor patio and a good amount of parking behind the building. When you walk in, you place your order at the counter and wait for it to come out at your booth. Both times I've been, I've opted for the Vermicelli bowl with shrimp because it is just so good!! The noodles are light and there's a lovely light sauce to pour over them. There are a bunch of fresh greens and cucumbers that go so well with the bowl and make it feel light and refreshing. Now for the shrimp - they are seasoned oh so well and come out nice and crunchy!! These were the reason I decided not to change proteins on my second visit. The portion size is substantial and I've always had leftovers for another small meal. The staff are all friendly and helpful and came to clear out our table after we finished our portions. There's also self-serve to-go containers to box up your leftovers. I've already joined their loyalty program and will certainly be back!

You have a partial view into kitchen so can see and feel the intensity. Drinks were ok and food was very good. Prices are mid-range, on par for what you would expect for this type of restaurant. Service was ok but was there around time some folks were getting off shift so that probably had an impact. Had the chicken curry and a citrus and mint cocktail. Forgot to take photos but it was just a standard looking dish and drink. Usually don't order curry at Vietnamese restaurant but I was in the mood for it and this one surprisingly was very good. Typically for a curry I'll go to a Thai, Indian or Jamaican restaurant. Their curry was very similar to Thai style but it had a Vietnamese flair to it. Hard to describe. Hint of some Vietnamese spices with the traditional Thai style curry flavor that changed it up a bit in a good way. They also mixed some vermicelli noodles into the curry which added something new. The chicken was quality chicken and cooked well. I've found lately not all chicken is equal so worth noting it was high quality chicken. Overall I really liked the curry and would definitely order it again. Had the curry with the sticky coconut rice instead of regular rice. I didn't care for it at all. The coconut rice was hard, very chewy and sort of rubbery. It wasn't sweet at all, more in savory side so it worked with the curry dish. The wait staff had suggested sub'ing in the coconut rice for regular rice for an extra $2.99. So I was game to try it. The flavor was not bad but the rice texture was off. The rice was also browned on the outside like they fried it. I will probably stick with a Thai place when I order sticky rice in the future, pun intended ;) Cocktail was so /so, they didn't mix it well and everything was on the bottom. So first part of the drink was watery and flavorless and last half was heavy. Think the drink would have been good if they stirred it. My friend had the pho soup and he said it was good. I'd originally planned on pho but changed my mind when I saw the menu. In summary, nice fast casual Vietnamese place that has pretty good energy. It's very clean and prices are standard for that category. No comment on my cocktail as the mixed drink wasn't mixed. Curry was excellent but the coconut rice is a hard pass.

The open layout provides plenty of room to dine comfortably without feeling crowded. There's also have tables outside in case you have fur babies with you and service is very friendly and attentive. The menu has an impressive variety of fresh vegetarian and vegan options. Although limited, they also offer wine and a few desserts like cookies and brownies. My go-to bowl is the Mother Earth bowl. By the drink area, there's complimentary hot sauces. My favorite is the habanero one. I can't do very spicy but the sauce is so good that I can't resist. I highly recommend Flower Child to anyone who is looking to eat healthier.

He was super sweet, great service :) I got the steak with red chile glazed sweet potatoes and the cauliflower risotto. The steak was good. I really enjoyed the sweet potatoes. I'm indifferent about the cauliflower risotto - I am not sure if I liked it or not, BUT it's a little over 100 calories and very flavorful. How is this possible? I'd definitely come back here and try their other items. Who said eating healthy has to be boring?
