My pacific blue made by the girl with no hair.
    Hiba M.

I do not ever come to this location because the Heights is just much closer and convenient. In the last month I've visited this location twice. The first time I sat at the bar for service, Allie was our server and she was beyond amazing. Helpful, explained the menu and specials, and made us feel really comfortable. The second time I came two weeks ago, we just ordered at the front and dined in regular. I ordered a pacific blue tuna melt. The girl with no hair who works in the kitchen has made my sandwich the last few times I've been to this locations I would rate them 0/10. I would honestly never come back to this location if I wasn't a forgiving person. Honestly I wouldn't be back to this location if Allie wouldn't have saved the day. My sandwich came out with little to no tuna on it. It was actually quite surprising for Chewbacca Hut. But the lady who made my sandwich gave me a little smirk before handing me my sandwich, and I knew something was wrong. If I could rate this location on food, and kitchen employees it would be o1 star. But thankfully you have employees like Allie. She saw me taking pictures of my sandwich and in literal disbelief of how little there was on the sandwich she immediately came to ask me if everything was right, she fully agreed the sandwich didn't look right and immediately brought me an extra portion of tuna to add. Without her, I would've completely roasted this entire establishment specifically the kitchen.

10/10 the vibes were immaculate here. The customer service is really good. Everyone is so nice there. The quality of the meats is good compared to other sandwich places . I got the ak47 I highly recommend . They have great rice Krispy treats that seem homemade also. Great drink choices .

When you first walk in around lunchtime, you're greeted with a lot of noise. I'd definitely suggest some sound-dampening, maybe foam under the seats or tables, to help with the echo. Once you get past that, you order your sandwiches at the counter and pay up front. Two sandwiches, two bags of chips, and two drinks came out to about $40--which gave me a little sticker shock. That said, filling up my cup with Kool-Aid brought back childhood nostalgia, which I loved. They call your name when the food is ready. We ordered to-go since we were just around the block at the courthouse. I had requested no onions or tomatoes on either sandwich, but both came with them anyway, so we had to pick them off before eating. A small detail, but frustrating. The sandwiches themselves were tasty--though I'm not sure they were $40 tasty. They do have a full bar with happy hour specials, and the restaurant decor leans heavily into cannabis-themed jokes and imagery. Not sure if I missed something there, but it was unexpected. Overall: a fun, quirky spot with decent food, but between the noise, price, and mix-up on the order, it wasn't quite a slam dunk for me.

The food was good, the service was great and the vibes were very eclectic. I'll definitely be back!

This is such a cute and fun place to visit! I've been craving a sandwich for a while and this place did not disappoint. We did try the bowl and I don't think it's worth it, but the sandwiches were great! I'd skip the rice crispy treats, too. Nobody in our party was a fan of those. The service wasn't bad. You order at the counter and they will bring it to your table.

So glad I tried Cheba Hut! It took me a while because I didn't notice that it was a sandwich shop and not a smoke shop (haha). I do not smoke so I didn't feel the need to go in there, but then I saw a TikTok video raving about their food and had to see what the hype was about! I must say, the picture doesn't do it justice. The Kali Mist exploded with flavors that were perfectly crafted to create an immaculate tasting sandwich. The freshness of the ingredients were excellent and the garlic bread so soft and delicious. The customer service was also top tier. They have small a bar inside. It's cute and appeared clean. I love the theme. I look forward to returning. I also tried a lemon blueberry cookie that I did not particularly enjoy but they have plenty of sweet munchies to choose from should you want to indulge.

This sub shop is very close to my office so we stop in for lunch sometimes. It's always quite busy around lunch time so if you're dining in there's a little bit of a wait. I've tried two different types of subs from here but my favorite so far is the white widow. I order it without mushrooms and on garlic herb bread. It's very good and the medium size sub is very filling. Overall, it's a good lunch spot and I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

I've enjoyed every sandwich I've gotten at Cheba but respectfully: What the actual hell is this?? As to the response, I love that you think I'm confused on the name, when it's the disgusting looking french onion soup I was served that I was referring to.

Place is awesome. Great decor with a unique style. Tons of sandwich options and good selection of sides and extras. The toasted bread was perfect and all ingredients were so fresh. The pretzel nugs were delicious. Bread was soft and sweet, dipping sauce seemed homemade and paired perfect. Has a descent little bar with everything you need for an afternoon drink and seem to have a lot of daily drink specials. Will come back!

GREAT FOOD! GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!! I hope they stay and make more out in spring!!! :D Got the Kali Mist & was 10000/10

Have been to other cheba hut locations previously. This one is just as good as the others. Their sandwiches are always super yummy! You can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite is probably the white widow. They have different breads to so for a meatball sub one I always do the garlic bread. Service is fine, they just take your order and bring it out. Drinks are self serve. Interesting hippy vibes in here for sure. The fruity pebble rice Krispy is definitely my favorite thing from here!

Service was very friendly. If this review was just on service 5 out of 5. But is not just about the service... I was super excited about a trying a new sandwich place. The menu is fun and there is a lot to look at when you walk in. I ordered the Sensi Kush... no cheese. Who doesn't enjoy a tasty BLTA. I was looking forward to a bacony bite... unfortunately there wasn't much bacon. It was more like a veggie Sammie with a hint of bacon. The bread was tasty and so was the sauce. I didn't hate it but I was disappointed. Like I stated earlier service was good. And when I asked for extra condiment they were very accommodating.

The mocktail made for me was expertly made even with my vague answer to her question of "what do you like"? Plus, it came in a super fun red fish cup (see in pictures). Unfortunately, I could not take the cup home but it was fun drinking out of it. The food from Hando next door was good for small bites while sipping on drinks; not too overwhelming and not underwhelming either in terms of size. I did think that the taste could be better though. Every dish felt like something was missing. Service was amazing. There was only one bartender when we visited with a party of eight and she took care of us masterfully.

The vibe inside is super cute with mood lighting and plenty of intimate seating spaced throughout. Parking in said shopping center is sparse. I'm not sure if parking is allowed at the neighboring businesses after hours, but I wanted to play it safe and ended up waiting about 15 minutes for someone to vacate their space. Our group had a couple of tables reserved and they had no problem having everyone pay on separate tabs. Service is offered both at the table and bar. Our waiter was attentive and had great recommendations for wine. When I was conflicted between two whites, he graciously brought me out both to taste and decide. I went with the Cacciabruco Malvasia/Trebbiano, which is a skin-contact white wine, so it had more of a reddish hue to it and almost looked like a rose in the dim lighting of the restaurant. I really liked this, as it was on the drier side and satisfied my palate more than the Gewürztraminer that I had also sampled. I didn't try the food but others in our party really liked the flatbreads they ordered. I do want to try these out next time because I know they will pair great with the wine! I'm glad I finally discovered this place! I'll definitely be back for happy hour and even a date night. With so many good places popping up in in Spring Branch, I'm sure this will become a regular spot for drinks before dinner

There are books abound, along the walls, in the bathroom, everywhere. I had a glass of Experience, a Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. It was a good pour, not too little or too much and the taste was deep, well balanced and smooth. Since the event took place around dinner time I also had a Fig and Speck flatbread. The fig, prosciutto and other toppings complimented each other well. The flatbread dough itself was ok but could've benefited from a little more flavor such as some garlic, butter and herbs. I also would've liked it a bit thinner so I could taste less of the bread and more of those delicious toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good and I ate all of it but these are small suggestions I'd recommend to bring it to perfection. I could see parking and seating being tricky. I was fortunate to snag a parking spot on the side of the building near the auto place and once inside I found a seat at a table with a lovely couple, another couple joined us soon after. Many of the guests who arrived later stood at first and then halfway through the event, made their way to the floor where they sat cross legged. All in all, The Library was a nice establishment and although a little out of my way, I'd return for another event or if I were in the area again.

My friend's band, Zenjii, had a live performance there. A power outage befell the establishment (thanks for nothing, Centerpoint!) so the show was switched from inside to the patio. I'll say that the patio is a bit on the gritty side but has a really cool, summertime-in-the-backyard kind of vibe. I was drawn to the numerous street signs and license plates that were strewn throughout. Thankfully, the weather was cooperative enough. I did have a chance to check the interior. While virtually pitch black, I was able to see some pinball machines and a pool table. On a normal day, the place is likely buzzing. If the patio presented itself as a place for tailgates and barbecues then the inside was a badass combination of dive bar, honky tonk, and punk rock club. And because I don't drink alcohol, I settled on a Mexican Coke, which was a decent $3.25. When I took my first sip, I was taken back to the summers of my youth when I went home to the Philippines after the school year. The opening of the bottle left a bit of a weird taste in my mouth so I decided to pour the rest in a complimentary plastic cup. And Coke - no matter what flavor it is - tastes better in a plastic cup, but that's a different story for another day. As for the staff, everyone from Becca to Jeremy is pretty cool. Even those who served me the Coke were down-to-Earth. They didn't ask me for ID. *Laughs* But seriously, Eighteen Ten Ojeman is a great place to pull up to in Spring Branch after you have some legit Korean BBQ, which the area is known for.
