There's a large parking lot that is shared with multiple business so be mindful of parking! But it's also Houston, so you know they have street parking as well. My drink was good. The chips were good. My sandwich was good. The only thing that needed work was the rice crispy.. it says that it expired on the 23rd and it was made on the 21st. When you first walk in around lunchtime, you're greeted with a lot of noise. I'd definitely suggest some sound-dampening, maybe foam under the seats or tables, to help with the echo. Once you get past that, you order your sandwiches at the counter and pay up front. Two sandwiches, two bags of chips, and two drinks came out to about $40--which gave me a little sticker shock. That said, filling up my cup with Kool-Aid brought back childhood nostalgia, which I loved. They call your name when the food is ready. We ordered to-go since we were just around the block at the courthouse. I had requested no onions or tomatoes on either sandwich, but both came with them anyway, so we had to pick them off before eating. A small detail, but frustrating. The sandwiches themselves were tasty--though I'm not sure they were $40 tasty. They do have a full bar with happy hour specials, and the restaurant decor leans heavily into cannabis-themed jokes and imagery. Not sure if I missed something there, but it was unexpected. So glad I tried Cheba Hut! It took me a while because I didn't notice that it was a sandwich shop and not a smoke shop (haha). I do not smoke so I didn't feel the need to go in there, but then I saw a TikTok video raving about their food and had to see what the hype was about! I must say, the picture doesn't do it justice. The Kali Mist exploded with flavors that were perfectly crafted to create an immaculate tasting sandwich. The freshness of the ingredients were excellent and the garlic bread so soft and delicious. The customer service was also top tier. They have small a bar inside. It's cute and appeared clean. I love the theme. I look forward to returning. You order at the counter, you take your number and cups for drink and they will bring out your food when it is ready. I like the easy to understand sandwich guide at the counter so you have a good picture how big of a sandwich you are ordering. The restroom is clean and handicap accessible with no difficulties. The sandwich I got this time was the Dank, which is like a pizza in a sandwich form, it was really good. If you like a good pepperoni pizza you would like the Dank. read more

I do not ever come to this location because the Heights is just much closer and convenient. In the last month I've visited this location twice. The first time I sat at the bar for service, Allie was our server and she was beyond amazing. Helpful, explained the menu and specials, and made us feel really comfortable. The second time I came two weeks ago, we just ordered at the front and dined in regular. I ordered a pacific blue tuna melt. The girl with no hair who works in the kitchen has made my sandwich the last few times I've been to this locations I would rate them 0/10. I would honestly never come back to this location if I wasn't a forgiving person. Honestly I wouldn't be back to this location if Allie wouldn't have saved the day. My sandwich came out with little to no tuna on it. It was actually quite surprising for Chewbacca Hut. But the lady who made my sandwich gave me a little smirk before handing me my sandwich, and I knew something was wrong. If I could rate this location on food, and kitchen employees it would be o1 star. But thankfully you have employees like Allie. She saw me taking pictures of my sandwich and in literal disbelief of how little there was on the sandwich she immediately came to ask me if everything was right, she fully agreed the sandwich didn't look right and immediately brought me an extra portion of tuna to add. This sub shop is very close to my office so we stop in for lunch sometimes. It's always quite busy around lunch time so if you're dining in there's a little bit of a wait. I've tried two different types of subs from here but my favorite so far is the white widow. I order it without mushrooms and on garlic herb bread. There's a bar with seating, 3 booths, 3 high top booths, and a few 4 top tables in the middle. The menu is fun and there is a lot to look at when you walk in. I ordered the Sensi Kush... no cheese. Who doesn't enjoy a tasty BLTA. I tried this restaurant twice once in Houston and again in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I first had the Kali Mist on wheat bread and it was delicious!!! It had the right amount of spicy and was full of flavor. The second time I had the White Widow on garlic bread. That sub was also delicious!!! I can't wait to try other subs on the menu. Out of the two subs I liked the Kali Mist the best. The ambiance of the restaurant is very chill, lots of natural light, and the staff is friendly. I'm giving it a 4 star review because the customer service was really good. Workers came by and asked if the sandwich was good and if I needed anything. The decor inside was really cool and it would be a good place to hang out if you are a real sandwich lover because they also have a bar. What caught my eye was the kool-aid. I tried it but Its not hood kool-aid, so I would need more sugar in mine for it to be a hit. I did see sugar packets (probably for the tea) but i will definitely add some next time. I tried another drink called berry patch and that was the winner! It was sweet and refreshing at the same time because it has apple cider vinegar. They have miss Vicky chips so that's a plus. I had the Death Star sandwich. The sandwich was good don't get me wrong, but I felt like the description hyped it up a bit. I was expecting to be wowed and I wasn't. I was thinking my sandwich would have a bit more flavor because I got the jalapeño cream cheese but it barely had any jalapeño flavor or spice. Also because it was warm it didn't really provide that much texture either. The bread on this sandwich is what really made a difference to other sandwich places. The bread was amazing it was one of the best sandwich breads I have had in a long time. For that alone I will come back and try a different sandwich sooner then later. My wife & I went on a Sunday around 3:30pm. We had an unfavorable experience at the location on 2150 Edwards st. The cashier person ( we didn't ask for a name) taking our order did not know the menu at all. My wife asked him what turkey sandwich would be a good option being this was our first time & he didn't even look at her & just pointed his finger at the menu & said "idk you can take the other meat off the "thing" & just the have turkey left" then he proceeded to look at me and say with annoyance "are you ready to order"? We decided to go to try the location on Dacoma in which we were greeted by a great cashier lady named Brianna. She was great on giving us recommendations regarding sandwiches & which bread to get. I ended up getting the La Canna (Italian) full 12 inch sub. It came with Smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, black olive, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake 8 House dressing. Every single ingredient was fresh & you could definitely taste every component. Nothing was overpowering & of course the Parisian bread ! Molto bene! Nice & with a light crisp I loved the art work in the place! Good music selection as well in the restaurant. My wife & I being a California Native particularly the Bay Area, it definitely gave us a West Coast feel. The bartender made us feel like we were in a five star restaurant as well, (I forgot his name but he was tall & had tattoos). He was super nice & personable. He also told us the meaning behind 4:20pm-7:10pm!!! (I will save that for you to find out!) I was mind blown lol because I had a different interpretation.
