Slowpokes has THE best breakfast bagel and you can't tell me otherwise. Staff is so friendly and the place is open, aery, and relaxing to study, talk to friends, or relax

Staff is always nice and my favorite location in the garden oak location. I have a usual order which is purple rain extra shot iced. Not sure if the syrup was a little off today ( they make it in house) but shots were watered down and there was too much milk not sweet at all it was a pretty drink that was not good and that never happens Grabbed 2 cookies and one alfajores - they get it from Michael's cookie jar- snickerdoodle and sprinkle cookies great and usual but the alfajores was probably the worst alfajores I have ever had unfortunately. If it wasn't labeled as alfajores I might have liked it

Like most, I had no idea that this location of Slowpokes existed. Tucked in the back of the shopping strip, on the far side, I felt like I'd discovered a secret spot when I arrived... if you walk from The Blond Goat, you're in for a treat. IYKYK. Similar to the other locations you'll find a menu full of coffee, snacks, sandwiches, salads, wine, beer on tap and (the new kid on the block Italian Sodas). This trip, I chose two new to me items. One Monster Mash Italian soda and a Cali sandwich. While I usually go for the pesto chicken panini, this sandwich is a new favorite. Is it something could make at home- yes, probably. Is it also something I'd rather buy from a spot that makes it right, yep! The sandwich itself feels homemade, and I personally wish more cafes prepared their food in that way. The customer service this trip had both hits and misses, but the most notable part of this location is all of the students! It seemed like middle and high school students filled 50% of the tables. While it's personally not my vibe, it does bring a youthful energy to the place. Since I'm in this area semi frequently, I'll def have to keep this location in mind if I need some caffeine!

Cute little coffee shop in the long point area. I loved the interior decor and the outside seating. Keep in mind it can get packed and there's not a lot of space. Parking is limited and we had to street park. There is a two hour wifi limit and you have to pay for it afterwards. The drinks were delicious and the service was good. We sat at the big long tables but it was quite messy and we had to clean the food residue off before we got our work laptops out. The big tables have stool like chairs which don't have a back, making it hard to sit for too long.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS PLACE!!! I ordered The Slowpoke latte and it was amazing! I never know what to get when I try a new place out, but one of the employees recommended it and it turned out to be a great choice. My friend ordered a drink that she thought wasn't sweet enough for her taste. They had no issue providing her with some extra honey to sweeten it up. Amazing customer service! The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The weather worked out so we sat outside on the patio and soaked in some sun. They have plenty of locations to choose from, so if I you can't get to this particular one, I still highly recommend you finding one close and checking them out.

My go to items to order: Lazy latte, purple rain, berry parfait, ham & Brie croissant, salmon bagel, bagel dog. My favs are the parfait and croissant! Menu is pretty extensive and there's something for everyone. I've been here several times and it is very consistent. Staff is nice and very quick with orders. Great place to catch up with friends, study, or work.

I've been here a couple of times, just to stop and get coffee because my go-to spot closes early. It was pretty packed both times, with not much seating left in the afternoon and evening on a Saturday. I love the decor and ambiance. It feels very modern and clean, with plenty of seating and space for work, studying, or just hanging out with friends. My bf even remarked how nice the unisex restrooms are lol We got the same two drinks both times, the PURPLE RAIN and WHITE MOCHA LATTE. They required a bit of a learning curve because we like sweet coffee drinks, and we had to have them add vanilla both times. That's even after we requested them "extra sweet" (for an extra $0.25) the second time. They were shockingly not sweet at all, despite us requesting them to be. Thankfully, the baristas have been very friendly and helpful both times, checking with us after making the adjustments, if we'd like them even sweeter. Just great attitudes all around! One barista even commented that their drinks aren't very sweet, so I'm assuming this is a common issue with customers. Both times, after the sweetness level was adjusted, the drinks were great! I think we'll just have to request an extra 3-4 pumps of vanilla when ordering, and hopefully that'll do the trick!

Had a chance to stop by randomly driving the other day, was craving coffee and noticed Slowpokes. Heard great things about them but never tried it. I went with the pumpkin spice latte, liked that it wasn't overly sweet and they aren't heavy on the cream. Liked the vibes of this location - good music and a great place to work or study.

I never knew about this location. it's definitely ducked off. It is very nice on the inside. A good study place if you need it. Menu is full of all sorts of things to try and you know I did! I tried the beef dog, the chicken empanada, and the egg potato and cheese kolache. Let me tell you about this beef dog! My goodness! The sausage is great but what's really important is the croissant wrap around it. It's flaky. It's like and everything bagel. It really is perfection. It was a hit I needed to savor. The hibiscus lemonade is also good too! Part tea and part lemonade. The chicken empanada and kolache weren't my favorites but they are a decent breakfast item. The menu is expensive and the service was stellar! I'll definitely be back so don't hog the table!

My husband and I needed a pick me up in the area so we found Slowpokes on Yelp. We had our fur baby, Jade so we needed a dog friendly spot. We got the honey cinnamon latte, cold brew and salmon bagels, which were pretty good. We'll be back when we're in the area again.

This coffee shop that has multiple locations throughout Houston. This place has an extensive menu and is a great spot for coffee, beer, wine, and food. I came here to work and enjoyed the Purple Rain Latte, a delightful blend of ube and vanilla. If you plan to stay for a while, bring a jacket or sweater as it can get quite cold inside. Be aware that there is a 2-hour limit on WiFi, starting from the time you get your receipt. After the 2 hours, you'll need to make another purchase to continue using the WiFi. A delightful plus was the bathroom wall filled with pictures of sloths and turtles, which I thought was very adorable.

Great latte! Cozy little coffee shop nestled in the heart of Spring branch. The server was very informative and recommended that Ube and vanilla latte. Only four stars because almond milk cost an additional dollar which is above the norm considering most other coffee shops. There seemed to be quite a few highschoolers there doing homework, but they were quiet and not a distraction to other guests, which I appreciated. I'll be back to try other lattes and enjoy the cozy ambience.

Does the internet have a time limit?

Yes. All the Slowpoke locations unfortunately have a 2 hour limit. One option is to come with a friend and you each get a snack or drink two hours apart. Or you can just buy a small pastry 2 hours after.

The vibe inside is super cute with mood lighting and plenty of intimate seating spaced throughout. Parking in said shopping center is sparse. I'm not sure if parking is allowed at the neighboring businesses after hours, but I wanted to play it safe and ended up waiting about 15 minutes for someone to vacate their space. Our group had a couple of tables reserved and they had no problem having everyone pay on separate tabs. Service is offered both at the table and bar. Our waiter was attentive and had great recommendations for wine. When I was conflicted between two whites, he graciously brought me out both to taste and decide. I went with the Cacciabruco Malvasia/Trebbiano, which is a skin-contact white wine, so it had more of a reddish hue to it and almost looked like a rose in the dim lighting of the restaurant. I really liked this, as it was on the drier side and satisfied my palate more than the Gewürztraminer that I had also sampled. I didn't try the food but others in our party really liked the flatbreads they ordered. I do want to try these out next time because I know they will pair great with the wine! I'm glad I finally discovered this place! I'll definitely be back for happy hour and even a date night. It was a good pour, not too little or too much and the taste was deep, well balanced and smooth. Since the event took place around dinner time I also had a Fig and Speck flatbread. The fig, prosciutto and other toppings complimented each other well. The flatbread dough itself was ok but could've benefited from a little more flavor such as some garlic, butter and herbs. I also would've liked it a bit thinner so I could taste less of the bread and more of those delicious toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good and I ate all of it but these are small suggestions I'd recommend to bring it to perfection. I could see parking and seating being tricky. I was fortunate to snag a parking spot on the side of the building near the auto place and once inside I found a seat at a table with a lovely couple, another couple joined us soon after. Many of the guests who arrived later stood at first and then halfway through the event, made their way to the floor where they sat cross legged. All in all, The Library was a nice establishment and although a little out of my way, I'd return for another event or if I were in the area again.

The pours were very generous, so keep that in mind when deciding who is driving home. The tastings came with a small plate of cheese, crackers & fruit. We were also given chocolate to pair with one of the wines, and an enchilada at the end (which was a little blah for me). It was a decent amount of food, so don't stuff yourself before coming. Hubby and I have done quite a bit of wine tasting, it's kind of a hobby for us, and this was one of our better experiences. Overall, we had a great time with the people and the wines (took home 6 bottles) and will go again. In fact, I already bought another Groupon for 4 to bring my parents when they are in town in May. Highly recommend!

They also provide a nice cheese and cracker plate at the beginning of the tasting. My wife and I felt the pours were generous and the wines were good. We ended up purchasing 2 bottles prior to leaving. They do the best they can to provide a nice setting for your tasting as they office out of a warehouse.

Parking: Tons of parking here surprisingly, both a paved lot and a pebble lot. We had a reservation for 3 at 7PM and were promptly seated at a booth after a small line of people. Order-to-Appetizer: 15 Minutes Order-to-Entrees: 30 MInutes For three people, we ordered: Dairymaid's Cheese Board (4/5): Comes with four cheeses, five small pieces of sourdough, honey-spritzed grapes, green Granny Smith apples, and fava beans. I wish they gave us more bread with the cheeses and preserves. The four cheeses provided were slices of a five-year aged Cheddar, Oveja Anejo, Tomarashi, and Gruyere. I enjoyed the Tomarashi the most. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but very sharable and a great starter. Shady Acres Pizza with prosciutto (3.5/5): I really don't like getting thin crust pizza that isn't crispy, and unfortunately this was a soggy thin crust pizza. The toppings themselves were very flavorful, and the end parts were crispy enough. 5 Cheese Calzone with chicken (3.5/5): Whew, five cheeses makes for a salty calzone. The side marinara sauce provides a good balance. It's very filling. Chicken might have been a good addition because prosciutto might have made it too salty. It was larger than expected which was nice for sharability. Service was kind of iffy. They were pretty rude with not providing us utensils and seeming almost angry that we asked for some for the cheese board. They mixed up our order (we asked for chicken on the pizza and prosciutto on the calzone and they flipped it) and seemed almost apologetically serving us afterwards. Overall, would recommend as a relaxed date spot at a reasonable price. I paid via inKind and applied referral credit with no issues. Would come back with inKind credit, probably not at full price.
