"Good-Friday Outing" 04-03-26 Hubby and I stopped by this Jason's Deli to grab a bite to eat before heading to the Memorial City Mall theater to see the new Mario movie. We really enjoyed the food at this location. The guacamole was very fresh, with bold hints of lime flavor. Likewise, the salsa tasted freshly made as well. I could taste the robust lime flavor along with the pungent freshness of the diced tomatoes and onions. I originally wanted to dine inside, but the dining room was extremely cold. It felt like I had stepped into a deep freezer the moment I walked through the doors. However, I will say the dining room was nice and clean. I did not see any food on the tables, chairs, or floor, so they definitely win points for cleanliness. Still, I have to take a few points away for the inconvenience of the cold dining room. As a result, hubby and I ended up eating our food in the car before going to the movies, which was not fun at all. However, we did enjoy our food to the utmost. It was really good. Food Ratings: Veggie Spinach Wrap - 5/5 This was delicious and packed with fresh spinach. The avocado was fresh and bright green, which I really appreciated. California Club - 5/5 My husband said it was delicious, and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. Salsa - 5/5 Fresh, flavorful, and full of bold lime flavor. Guacamole - 5/5 Very fresh, smooth, and delicious. Overall, I have to admit this is the best Jason's Deli I have ever tried, and I have tried several of them. They do freshness well, and you really can't beat that. I would have given them five stars if the dining room had not felt like an icebox. However, I still highly recommend this location. FYI: Parking is plentiful, but the area itself is extremely crowded. read more

I got to come here with my friends and family! I've come here in the past for delivery purpose but never got to try until today! I love the fact that they offered salad bar and they are so fresh and delicious! Got to do many vegetarian options for our meals! Very good service and spacious environment! What a different location makes! JD restaurants are always noisy. The ice cream machines and the food line creates a ton of disturbance, so much so, it's often not a place I want to dine in regularly. What I noticed about this location tonight is the employee chatter was greatly diminished from other locations I have frequented (Memorial area is the worst). Believe it or not, with all the other noises, the staff chatter is elevated because the employees seem to talk over all the other machine and dish clanking noises. I'm a very noise sensitive person, so I was very happy to find this JD is so much quieter. The service is good and the food is fresh. I appreciate the variety of items on the salad bar. I love the close parking and the spacious seating inside too. I will definitely return to this location soon! read more

Ordered the Mediterrean bowl. Very disappointed, it was practically all lettuce, feta cheese, some hummus on huge crackers. It was also supposed to have cherry tomatoes (I got a half of one, found it at the bottom) and chicken. The chicken was tough, and tasted a few days old. It was really gross. Great spot for dining in or ordering catering! Salad bar and self-serve ice cream machine are fantastic too! But I love the variety on the menu now, specifically all the healthy options for good prices. This place has really increased their quality since I was last there 15 years ago back in high school. Salad bar is our go to every time we come. On this day at 3pm ish. I sat down to eat my salad at a table I had to clean off myself. Many of the tables in the restaurant needed to cleaned but your staff of 6 people, sat in the left hand corner of your registers for an hour to chit chat and laugh as me the customer had to stare at dirty tables. I get that everyone needs a break but to have only 2 people behind your food counter working and doing what they are supposed to be doing. Meanwhile your manager and others completely screwing off. On other visit, I've seen this same manager eating between customer at her register. Wow As a paying customer and a dine in customer, I too should be eating in and clean environment. Salad Bar is my go to every time. On the Feb 6, 2024, I have to say, the salad bar was the freshest and cleanest I've ever seen in all the years I've been frequenting this location. This young lady (employee "Antonia") I see works very hard. She's the reason this salad bar looks so appealing and delicious. I see on occasion that she's also a runner of the food. I cannot remember ever being disappointed at an Jason's. Our usual place is the one on Mason. We stopped here as we were in the area. Jason's has been my go-to place for a Reuben. What a disaster. Usually it comes on marbled rye; this was on toasted wheat. Ok, that's marginally fine. *Always*, *consistently*, *no question* Jason's corned beef, at likely more than 5 different restaurants, is the most tender, has no gristle or stringy parts. And that is equally true of more than 100 other restaurants I've had Reuben's at. Not this time. Could hardly bite through it, barely chew it. Awesome food! I love how they package things up and label everything. The executives loves having Jason's Deli when they have lunch meetings in the conference room. They hand me a menu, I order online, and everything arrives labeled. All I have to do is pass it out. THIS IS AMAZING because usually it takes a considerable amount of time to sort through all the meals, figure out what things are, and assign them to the correct person. They get all the orders CORRECT, every time. There is always *something* that they want modified. Things like: "Can I get the gumbo w/o rice?", "No tomatoes on anything", "Fruit instead of chips, I'm on a diet", "Can they keep everything separate except these two things? Those two things can touch." Jason's Deli makes it work EVERY TIME. I had a particularly amazing experience yesterday. They went above and beyond when I couldn't figure something out online. They helped me over the phone and didn't make me start the order all over again, from the beginning. The food arrived rather quickly! The order wasn't placed until 11:30 AM. I know they're crazy busy there so I was expecting it to take AGES to arrive. After the driver left, I was passing out all the lunches and realized that I made a HUGE mistake and left off one person's full lunch. I did have a soup for him but that's it. I called Jason's Deli and they EXPEDITED a lunch order. Then had the same driver bring it over IMMEDIATELY. I'm shook. Outstanding service. The executives didn't even know I made a mistake. I have always loved going to jason's deli so it hurt when i spent 66 dollars of my own money. Only to get stale mac and cheese with the cheese being closer to water then cheese, Au jus was even blander tasting like water dyed brown. Jason's is where I go when I am feeling guilty of eating too much. I tell myself that I can eat healthy here. It is usually very hard to find a close parking spot so be prepared to walk a little distance. I usually get the salad bar and soup which you can order on a touch screen and pay without having to stand in line. At least its unlimited salad, Lol. Its reasonably priced compared to other places. Also try and go a little early it can get crowded here the closer you get to the noon hour. read more

Good for family and kids. I've been here only once. The spoons, plates and other utensils had soap marks and water marks on them. They are not really clean. I only had the fire roasted tortilla soup with chicken and it was great. So food was great but cleanliness not so much. So 3 stars. I will be back to try something else. read more

I usually love this place but today has really disturbed me. First I came on Monday and swiped my card 3 times , it showed failed on there system although the payment was taken three times from my account. They tell me to wait until Friday and if it hasn't returned to my account then call them. I did that, due to it being Apple Pay I could not get my money back and had to get store credit, fine like I say I go all the time. Which stopped today, i ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and sat and ate at the restaurant. I found a piece of plastic within my bowl , not regular plastic but like one off of a top of a food container or a serving spoon. Nice piece and i am having trouble with wisdom teeth pain so imagine biting down on something hard such as that. (Sorry no pic of plastic I showed him and he immediately took it) I called manager Ryan over to tell him. He said "ooooo ok" and walked off with no remorse. He continued to do things and I kept getting disturbed and called him back over and had to tell him AGAIN what happened and he should have asked if i was okay or if he could do anything ... This Jason's is located adjacent to the Randall's at the corner of Memorial and Dairy Ashford. It's one of the healthiest lunch alternatives that can be found in the area. Jason's build-your-own sandwich choices are good. Their salad bar is even better. I almost always get a soup and salad combo. If I don't, I favor the turkey wrap which includes very tasty guacamole. The kids like to go here because they can serve themselves a free vanilla and chocolate frosty in a cone or cup for dessert. Parking is usually crowded out in front. I often have to park further out in the Randall's lot. No problem - it's healthy to walk a bit further to have a healthy meal. read more

Met my wife here for lunch yesterday, along with my sandwich I ordered a cup of chili with cheese and onions on the side. When they beeped me and I went to pick up my lunch from the counter (Jadon's is too cheap to keep the food runners that made the place comfortable and convenient) there was no cheese or onions. I asked for them and instead of being served I was told I'd have to wait. Stood there for several minutes while I watched multiple personnel continue to ignore me and my food was getting cold (the sandwich I ordered was supposed to be served hot along with my chili). Finally got tired of waiting and left to eat room temperature food. This location has made several changes lately and they all seem to be going the wrong way. It used to have courteous personnel and decent customer service, that seems to be evaporating away. This will not be a regular stop on my lunch list. I always get a baked potato whenever I go to Jason's Deli. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come out given that it was lunch time. My potato was amazing as usual, but the only issue I have is that their portions are inconsistent. My friend ordered the same Plain Jane potato as me, but mine had a ridiculous amount more of cheese than hers. I really enjoy Jason's Deli. When you arrive, you stand in line to order your food and are given a number which you take to your table or booth. You leave it on your table and once your food is ready, someone comes and delivers your food to your table. The salad bar is really yummy, and most of their food is fresh and organic. You can choose between sandwiches, salads, pasta dishes, soups, baked potatoes, etc. I always find something new that I want to eat here. They have several different types of teas and all have free refills. If you are with the family, the kids can hit up the soft serve machine for extra fun! The parking is a bit of an issue since they share a parking lot with Randall's, but for some reason, I always luck out and pull in just as someone is leaving. ;) read more
