Oh i loved this food and want more! 1st time to this place We got the Hawaiian Spam noodle Box (mainly for me) and he mainly ate from the grilled shrimp noodle box. Also ordered Bulgogi Fries and Bulgogi Ribeye Beef Bao. It was our first time ordering a noodle dish like this. This was super refreshing and loved the mix of veggies with it. The sauce was on the sweeter side but we liked mixing it into the plate! My only negative was that I wish there was more spam! For this being the same price as some of the other protein options I figured it'd have just as much as the shrimp one we got and as some of the other ones that had pictures online. Place was super clean, and cute. Our order was ready when we walked on so we didn't really take the time to take in the ambiance. It was bright though and did like the greenery in there. Need to go back!

Bao Bao Banh Mi offers the best Banh Mi in the Memorial/Energy Corridor area! Services are nice and will cook the meat fresh to order. The food comes out fresh, clean, and aromatic. The flavor is top notch. Definitely recommend this place for a good sandwich. The restaurant is hidden in a plaza especially on Eldridge Parkway. However, interior is clean and provides a friendly casual dine experience with extra sauces provided.

Came here for late night snack. We ordered a banh mi, bao, and a side of fries all for $21. I thought it was ok.....The place definitely felt very very dirty. I wouldn't recommend dinning in. The employees were pretty cool though. I think if the flavor was better and the environment was cleaner I would come back but in all honestly I don't think this place is worth your time!

Stopped by for lunch. I ordered the beef bowl along with the pork spring rolls. Quantity-wise, there was more than enough food - I could not finish everything. The food was made to order and came out quick. The beef had great flavor -- I probably ate more than I should have. The pork roll, I wasn't a fan of this style. At other places, they season and barbecue the pork - this place has more of a deli style. No biggie, it just gave me more room for the beef bowl. I'd definitely stop back by and order the beef bowl again!

What in the deli meat chicken is in my chicken spring roll??? What is this lol... all other chicken spring rolls actually have chicken, not deli meat. The have no cucumber. Just plain boring and no flavor. Wasted my money for sure. With all these positive reviews, it's obvious that they offer something in return for leaving the review. Chicken.. pork.. whatever. Regardless, it's deli meat!! Pork deli meat. Just terrible. Add some flavor!

That's a tasty son of a gun! I enjoyed the softshell crab. It takes about 3 or 4 bao to fill me up. I'd say this is a great lunch spot, but not a dinner environment. Service was helpful; the menu is large and there are a lot of options.

Lemongrass Pork Sandwich (Banh Mi Thit Nuong)

1. Service - you only deal with the cashier. They seem nice and kind. 2. Price - to be honest, they are missing a star because of the prices. It's $7-$8 for a sandwich here. $16 easily for two sandwiches without a drink and before tax. I get a bigger bang for the buck at Subway's or at Lee's sandwich. For $16, I can get 3 sandwiches in Bellaire Blvd. But I get it, this is not Bellaire, and real estate is probably more than in Chinatown. 3. Ambiance - cute and small. They have an open kitchen concept. Dress code here is casual. Order and pay at the front before sitting down. 4. Food - I ordered their LEMONGRASS PORK and SPECIAL COMBO Banh Mi sandwiches. The Lemongrass Pork sandwich was really flavorful and good, but the Special Combo sandwich was ok. Not as good as their Chinatown counterparts. Not only is this place more expensive, but the sandwiches are tiny. 5. Cleanliness - no complaints here. The place seems nice and clean. SUMMARY: I haven't tried all the food items here. For what it's worth, it's great to have a Vietnamese sandwich shop in the Energy Corridor area. But it is more expensive compared to other Banh Mi shops in Houston. The price tag would be a reason I may reconsider in going. However, the food is not bad and I would come back if I have a craving and not willing to travel to Chinatown for them.

Bao Bao Banh Mi, why are you so good? I don't know sir, my name is just cool. Drove right past you and I fell in love, decided to go inside to find out all the buzz. In a neat locale that would make anyone smile, the staff greeted me and told me to stay a while. Looked at the menu, and the prices were so fair. Banh Mis, Baos, sliders, teas, and drinks galore. It was a Saturday and people were sitting inside, I tried a Banh Mi, Chicken Katsu Slider (on a Hawaiian Bun), a Lemon Grass Pork Banh Mi, a Grass Jelly drink, and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was all delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided superb service. The restaurant was clean and had good seating, and there was free water as well. Loved it, I would definitely come back and pay a visit. Check it out!

Bao, egg rolls, banh mi!

If you are in the energy corridor area, find this hidden spot for a good banh mi! Their bread is warm and crispy, very flavorful and good amount of ingredients! Add in boba beverages, baos and usual Asian quick food. I'd remember it again for my next visit in this neighborhood!!

Super love this place and can't wait to go back! From the amazing service to the delicious food. We started with the pork fried egg roll.. well, we tried, lol. It was very hot and was still hot at the end of our meal when we finally ate them. Very filling bao with delicious flavors. We tried a few and I'm telling you, no matter how you decide, you can't go wrong. The strawberry lemonade with popping boba was very refreshing as well!

First time visiting! Brought 8 colleagues to try and they all enjoyed it! They have sufficient seating as a fast-casual restaurant. Ordered at the cashier and they will bring the food out to you. I got the Bulgogi Vermicelli Bowl and it was really good and flavorful. Included the meat, cucumber, nuts (on the side), shredded lettuce, carrots and fish sauce. Also got a mango green tea with boba (very refreshing and the boba was nice and chewy). Would come back again and try the Baos & Banh Mi! Parking - within the plaza

Combo Meats Noodle Box

I always drive past this store, so I decided to stop by recently to check it out. It's a cute little banh mi shop and very clean. We ordered the rice box, vermicelli box, egg rolls, and a bao, and it didn't take too long for the foods to come out. We chose lemongrass pork and grilled chicken for the vermicelli box, bulgogi ribeye and caramelized tofu for the rice box, braised pork belly bao, and fried pork egg rolls. My favorite had to be the caramelized tofu topping and the braised pork belly bao. Those were easily the best tasting foods of that meal. The other toppings for the rice and noodles were very flavorful as well. The pork egg rolls tasted okay; their size was a bit smaller than the size of a typical Vietnamese egg roll, and they were a bit dry and bland. Overall, this was a pretty nice banh mi shop in this area of town. I will definitely stop by again to try their other options.

Like no meat on the sandwiches and expensive for bread. Pictures show way more food in the sandwiches.

They have two new sandwiches on the menu, so I definitely had to try at least one of them. I went with the Cilantro Lime Steak sandwich, and was thoroughly satisfied! You get a nice-sized Cuban loaf, with lots of beef, string carrots, cucumbers, gobs of fresh cilantro, and a delicious cilantro lime dressing drizzled over the top. There is also a garlic mayo spread generously on the bread, so when it is perfectly toasted, it reminded me of garlic bread! And of course, I had to have my usual barbecue chips to top it all off. When I did the search this place came up and even though there was no Yelp activity (reviews, tips or check ins) and after checking their online menu, we decided to give it a try. Now we have a small deli in our building, this is no means an even comparison. We have a small variety of items that we can order and they only take cash. Who does that in the 21st century? Skyline is a little hard to find because there are no signs and it is located in the Worley Parsons building. Once we walked in we just followed the people that were streaming in and out of the deli. First of all, they have a very extensive menu. It includes: Paninis, wraps, daily specials and combos, build your own salads, pasta and sandwiches, breakfast, tacos, smoothies, beverages and desserts. They also do catering! I can eat here every day and not have the same thing! My friend ordered the chicken and dumplings special of the day with green beans and he enjoyed it thoroughly. I had a ham and cheese panini with a cup of chicken noodle soup. The soup was hot and had very good flavor.and the panini was prepared perfectly for me. They have a beverage section with fountain drinks and 2 types of tea with free refills which I took advantage of. Lastly they take all types of payments and there is an ATM if you need cash. They even have a rewards program that I will check out.
