Fire is right, in that someone will probably get fired when HQ actually reads the reviews here lol. They get one extra star for being so nice, but the bread and ingredients tasted old, the toppings were skimpy (not in a sexy way), and it just didn't taste the way a Firehouse sandwich should. I think Firehouse is going the way of Subway (as in, ugh), if this location is anything to go by. Too much expansion, not enough love and attention to detail. But amazing service. Always start with the positive. Nice folks behind the counter. The gentleman who looked like the manager did a good job engaging with me, etc. Why I went average on my review. Cleanliness Restroom was in need of a cleaning. Floors were dirty Back station where make sandwiches was not appealing. Like always, firehouse does not disappoint. This location is closest to my house and work so I frequent this location. The subs are always great, I get a hook and ladder on white bread the way it comes. This visit, the soda machine had very limited options, I was annoyed at first, but then this just made me try something I normally wouldn't have. I ended up getting minute made fruit punch. We are a fan of their hook and ladder sandwich as well as their cherry limeade drink however this visit was very disappointing. Its unfortunate that we walked in when their "system went down" and their GM just flat out said that hey are no longer taking any orders. I'm a business owner myself and just because a system crashing doesnt mean you shut down the business and there is tons of other restaurants neighboring this location. You should figure out a temporary fix like only take cash orders until the system comes back up. I offered to pay cash and he still declined. Manager/owner with a bad attitude. The parking lot was full. Yet they had their delivery vehicle parked on 1 of the only 2 spots on front of their shop. I am handicapped and the only spot available was In front was in front of Wild Wings on the complete opposite side of the complex. So my daughter went in and asked them nicely if they could park their delivery vehicle in the back of the store where there is plenty of parking as I was handicapped and we want to place an order for 4 sandwiches. The owner/manager told her very snottily "I don't feel like moving it". Needless to say my daughter and the one customer in the shop at the time was beyond belief at this response. This review isn't so much about this particular establishments location, but the tuna itself. With that being said, the tuna here is absolutely worthless. Dry is an insult to dry things, as is the world bland to the food caucasians make. When I buy food, there is two expectations ; I expect convenience , and something that's going to taste better than anything I can make. I'm no Betty Crocker, but I've had the girlfriends of many men tell me once or twice that date night at my house was delicious. All jokes aside, the location had extremely kind and attentive staff on site. We used to come here weekly on Sunday for free kids meal special before CoVid. If you want free kids meal on Sunday now you have dine in with the kiddo. Not sure about letting my 7 YO dine in at store just for free kids meal. Very disappointed in manager's attitude about worry about giving free kids meal versus safety of kids. read more

Drove all the way back home only to find my friend didn't even have the correct meat, he had roast beef instead of turkey and my sandwich was on the wrong bread with onions and jalapeños and mustard I didn't ask for. This use to be our family hand's down go to sandwich shop. We'd crave a Firehouse sub! On our last visit we noticed they started using pre-chopped bag lettuce. It taste's like plastic, cheap and fast food like Subway. Corporate think's they're cutting cost that no one will notice. Guess what WE DID!
