They get one extra star for being so nice, but the bread and ingredients tasted old, the toppings were skimpy (not in a sexy way), and it just didn't taste the way a Firehouse sandwich should. I think Firehouse is going the way of Subway (as in, ugh), if this location is anything to go by. Too much expansion, not enough love and attention to detail. But amazing service. The subs are always great, I get a hook and ladder on white bread the way it comes. This visit, the soda machine had very limited options, I was annoyed at first, but then this just made me try something I normally wouldn't have. I ended up getting minute made fruit punch. We are a fan of their hook and ladder sandwich as well as their cherry limeade drink however this visit was very disappointing. Its unfortunate that we walked in when their "system went down" and their GM just flat out said that hey are no longer taking any orders. Manager/owner with a bad attitude. The parking lot was full. Yet they had their delivery vehicle parked on 1 of the only 2 spots on front of their shop. I am handicapped and the only spot available was In front was in front of Wild Wings on the complete opposite side of the complex. So my daughter went in and asked them nicely if they could park their delivery vehicle in the back of the store where there is plenty of parking as I was handicapped and we want to place an order for 4 sandwiches.
