The food was fresh and high quality. The wait staff was accommodating and so friendly. We even got to speak with the manager who made us feel like family. There was a large number of pies to select from which honestly was the toughest part of the whole experience. We settled with the key lime pie which was such a great choice but will definitely be back to taste the other types of pies. Lastly, this spot was bustling. We came around the lunch rush so there was a line. However, the line went quick and the tables flipped pretty quickly. We didn't have an issue finding a table and the wait staff was on top of it. I finally walked the 4 feet to the register to get the young man's attention and let him know we would like ice cream and a pie. He seemed a little put out at first but, in the end was pleasant to deal with. Nice place worth trying. The manager and owner both reached out to me within 24 hours. They invited me to come back for a free salad and even when I got there to get the salad, they offered me cookies, drinks, anything else. I did not take it because I just simply wanted the salad that I had originally ordered, but the sentiment was really nice. The manager came and spoke with me and apologized. She explained that she had run the cameras back, so exactly what happened and was in shock. She knew that that was not the normal protocol, and she said that that staff member was retrained.
