I absolutely love any sandwich shop that have cucumbers as toppings. The best sandwich is topped with cucumber, microgreen mix, and delicious alfalfa sprouts or broccoli sprouts. Firehouse subs do not have the greens or the sprouts, but they offer crunchy, fresh, and tasty peeled cucumbers as a topping, which I love. That being said, my favorite sandwich here is thier tuna. It seems made in store and really good and delicious! So delicious! It's my favorite because I stopped eating tuna for years due to developing an aversion to it but decided to order one from here after having an intense craving for it. Now I like my tuna to have a hint of sweetness to it. Just a hint. I don't know why but I do. If I make it, I'm adding shredded green apple and/or cranberries to it to give that pop of sweetness. Firehouse subs tuna is delicious and I get it with lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo and cucumbers. I also get salt and vinegar chips to put on it for that sour crunch. There is something about this place! Always great service, very fresh and tasty subs, great selection and I love trying new subs each time. I love their bread. I just visited this location, and I can honestly say this is the worst Firehouse Subs! The staff is lazy. They are more interested in bantering with each other in Spanish than serving the customers. I ordered wheat and I got white. The sandwich was thrown together and messy with way too much mayo. Not good! Keep it up Firehouse Subs, you're losing customers. read more

This is a must stay away establishment. Terrible. The employees are lazy, SLOW and need training BADLY. I waited 43 minutes for 2 sandwiches and another few customers waited I presume longer than that. I don't know if they were extremely understaffed, but it was really bad. Nobody seemed like they knew what they were doing. Now for the sandwiches. I ordered a steak and cheese and my wife got a smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. We both took 1 bite and instantly threw lur sandwiches away. The mayo tasted old and had a weird taste. My sandwich was ICE COLD, far from a "Firehouse" sub. Sloppy, unevenly cut, just a joke. They definitely improved this place since my last visit in 2014. Sandwiches are much better. They still have the magic Coke machine. You can use your phone to dispense the drink. It's just a sandwich shop that has different sandwiches than other sandwich shops. They do have a tiny outdoor patio here which is nice. The worst customer service Ednah took our order and got the order wrong for my fiancé . She might have been distracted while taking the order since someone talked to her. When received, I mentioned the order was wrong and she did not want to correct it, instead argued that my fiancé asked for a hero when it was his first time and specifically asked for a steak and cheese. She insisted she was correct and since I told her "please do your job and replace it " and she said "no , now I'm not doing it because of you attitude at me " . Until my fiancé humiliated himself and asked her like begging her to make the correct one . It was very unprofessional since she said she is the manager . We threw it away and dine elsewhere. I go to this place occasionally. Service is usually ok. Went a month or so ago and ordered online for pickup. Even after I arrived it took nearly 20 minutes to get my sub. It had been sitting behind the counter and they never bothered to let me know. Unfortunately I tried them again today, and the same exact result, except when I complained the guy at the register lied and was extremely rude. I will never go back, lesson learned. read more

Worst customer service! If you don't mind waiting an excessive amount of time for your sandwich to be made when there is NO ONE else in the place, by all means, go there. The first time this happened, I thought it was a "one time" happening so, tried again. Wasn't quite as bad but, still, NO ONE in the place and still took too long to prepare the sandwiches. Stopped there last night to dine in. Meatball sandwich was literally COLD when it was served, again, after waiting too long. I filled out the survey on the receipt after I got home. As I looked at the receipt, I realized I was charged individually for the chips and drink instead of being charged the "combo" price. This afternoon, a woman named Carmen called me in response to the survey. She offered me a free drink next time as an apology. Newsflash! I am already entitled to a free drink for filling out the survey and recording the code at the end of the survey so, basically, she offered me nothing. Carmen supposedly is the owner of this location. Well, no wonder the customer service is so bad. She is a horrible representative for the business she supposedly owns. I love firehouse subs! I'm not sure what happen at this place I used to love it, I placed an online order as I usually do, and when my husband arrived, the food was not ready. He came home and the food was not what I ordered. I requested additional toppings on my subs and they were not there. We requested Captain sauce and we did not get it. If I was there I would've made sure everything was corrected before I left but when you send someone for pick up, you are expecting it to all be there. I am so disappointed. He says the customer service was very terrible. He had to go out and get the sides on his own to add to the meals :/ and very disappointed, and I will not be patronizing this business again.. read more

This location has 3 manager apparently. I called in due to my order being completely messed up. Toppings on my orders where completely confused. I called the following day since the employees that where working that night happening to be the only ones in the building. On my phone call with a male manger I was told to bring in my receipt to have it replaced. Simple fix. Once at the restaurant I showed my receipt and an older lady who claims to be the manager who told me I should have brought the food back. (Only firehouse for a few miles) I explained the conversation I had earlier. To no avail she continued to argue with me. Both sandwiches were horrible! I had the pastrami sandwich, the pastrami was not good tasting, looked old like old shoe leather, was supposed to be a hot sub it was cold! Also had the potato soup, hot dang that was horrible also, tasteless couldn't eat it at all a wasted $7.40 for a small cup of crappy soup. My husband had the cold Italian sub, well he hot it hot instead of cold, and he said it didn't taste like a Itlalian sub at all, said it was pretty horrible also. If you like Subway or Quiznos, you'll LOVE Firehouse Subs. There is something about their subs that differentiates it from the other chains. They're all very tasty and flavorful, and also comes with a pickle spear. I've tried about 5 of their subs and although they're all yummy, my favorites are the Italian, and the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket. They also have the Coke Freestyle machine so you can create your own concoction. Have always gone to this location as the food is reliable when hungry, but I ordered for pickup today and when I the food (2 subs) there was items missing. The club on a sub normally comes with bacon, but it was not on the sub. While the other sub I ordered added other ingredients such as jalapeños, caramelized onions, etc. None of those items were on the sub and it was a bit disappointing. I like this place cause it different : instead of putting the sliced pickles inside they give you like a half on the side . James doesn't eat pickles so I take his. Best sub around in my opinion! The #10 is amazing. Their BBQ sauce is so full of flavor. The atmosphere is really fun themed with firehouse decor. They serve you fast and are attentive to your needs. This place is walking distance from where I work (Pro Dynamic Fitness) so it's obviously perfect for me. The price is beyond reasonable and the staff is super welcoming. The have an amazing setup and the two 42in+ tv's are always on a sports station. It's probably because I go there a lot but when I call in for a to-go order, they always say "no onions and mustard right?". which means they really pay attention to what you order. Like I said before, GREAT STAFF! i would make one recommendation to the owner, ADD SPINACH. People will ask for it if you offer it. I love Firehouse, don't get me wrong, my rating is based on this location. It's dirty. I noticed bugs on the counter when I checked out. No big deal, I've worked in the industry and know not every place is perfectly clean all the time. I got a root beer from their fancy soda dispenser and got about halfway through when I looked in my cup and saw 3 bugs (still alive) stuck to the sides. I thought "well maybe it was in the cup already" because I had seen them on the counter. So I cleaned out my cup with water and got more root beer. More bugs. Then I was grossed out and sad.
