Not to be confused with Jason's Delhi, which is when my friend (Mr Bourne) went to visit the capital of India, and produced a documentary about it. I'm not crazy about Jason's Deli, but there are worse places to go and get your salad and there are some healthy things here, even though they're not nearly as cheap as they used to be. I wanted to give them 3 stars because their prices went up but Barbi likes a lot of things about them, their veggies, salad bar, although the chopping of veggies is a little on the large side, like she says that I am down below. So Barbi insists on 4 stars. This location does have pretty good service, and like the actor said, better sandwiches than Subway but then who doesn't. Wait which actor said that.

Great soup, hot coffee and delicious Ham & Cheese sandwich

It was the only place open during the massive Houston Winter Storm. Great food, great service. Thank you Jason's Deli.

"Grilled" cheese that was halfway grilled AFTER sending it back. First one was completely white on bottom.

Worst experience ever. Was harassed by an older lady who didn't speak any English when I asked for an extra small plate to separate some things I got from the salad bar. She said I could only have one small plate. Apparently the salad bar in no longer unlimited- nowhere does it state that. I was harassed after putting some spinach on my plate about going back to the salad bar. Grilled cheese sandwich wasn't even grilled all the way after sending it back once. Overall super disappointing. Overpriced. Rude staff. Sub-par food. Won't be back. 0 stars if I could.

Wrap, chips n sauce l, cookie

Alamo wrap, chips n sauce, cookie, get that alot along with amazing service. This place has a self serve salad bar. "No one else has this" says Steven!

Mesa salad. They skimp you on the avocado, and you get tons of shredded cheddar. It's a no for me fam

Damnnn.. I hate to give this place 3 stars.. but this specific experience. I do want to point out that everything else is delish. The chicken Mesa salad. It's piled with shredded cheddar, like pounds. The chicken is very cold, cold enough to make your teeth sensitive. I'm really upset about this low key Damn not to mention, you get like 1/4 avocado, and if you want more it's 0.99cents. My advice is stick to the sandwiches, and soups! Broccoli cheddar soup- hits the spot every time. I love the manager specials and the club royal sand which I sub for mayo. The California club is good too. The croissant is nice and crispy & warm. Great compliment to the soup

This place was only 0.4 miles away and has great reviews so we headed over. Oh my gosh, I'm glad we chose this spot. That was the best sandwich I've had in a long time! I ordered the first thing on the menu because it looked good, and I'm glad I did. They call it a "Chicken Run." It's made with ciabatta, grilled chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and "garlic sauce" (which, to me, was a garlic aioli). I enjoyed it more than I would have enjoyed getting a hamburger somewhere else. The ciabatta was perfect! Far better than any hamburger bun. The pepperjack cheese was spicier and meltier than most and seemed to be high quality. And the flavors all melded together perfectly. A very nice lady made our sandwiches, wrapped them and bagged them. She was friendly and helpful. The place was cute. And they had board games to play with :-) My wife had the Empire Club and said she enjoyed it. They also had a reuben that looked really tempting and a chicken pesto sandwich on a baguette that caught my eye. But I'm still glad I got the Chicken Run!

However, it's well worth the stop by. The food is simply wonderful. I had butternut squash soup, which was marvelous really marvelous as if it were homemade. I also had a Desi pizza which was quite good. Shock full of ingredients all of which were well seasoned and the sauce that was absolutely wonderful. It's really a much larger place than it appears when you first approach it there's plenty of room for seating and it's very well capped. The ambience is very simple but tasteful. It's a must visit if you're in the area of parked 10 on the west side of town. Let me just say this at last there were two people who were there during the lunch hour, and they were inordinately, efficient and friendly. It's a wonderful experience.

We were ultimately shown to a table directly in front of the kitchen. As we sat there, I gradually began to notice some troubling things. Another Asian group was seated at a table next to one of the kitchen entrances. Later, when they finished their meal and left, another Asian family was seated at the same table. In addition, a Black family was seated next to another kitchen exit. A woman in that group asked to be moved to a different table. The food itself was very good, and the server who took care of us was pleasant and kind. My concern was specifically with the way the host assigned tables. Seeing this seating pattern repeated even though other tables were available made me strongly feel that race was influencing the seating decisions. I found the experience very upsetting. Of course, it is up to the restaurant to decide how it will assign tables in the future. I would be glad if this experience prompted the restaurant to recognize the issue and make changes. On the other hand, if nothing changes, I will consider this to be part of the restaurant's character. I am leaving this review to share what I personally saw and experienced.

My partner wanted to grab lunch here so we tried for the first time this place. We got a simple sandwich and elote which the staff said it should take 15-20 mins. We waited and waited it past 40+ mins and I went to ask. - First was that they lost our order number and they couldn't find it. - Second the manager began to say our order was taken by someone else and then that my partner grabbed it. Switching her words back and forth and not believing what we had said. I asked how did we grab our stuff if I still have the device to notify when our food is ready. - Third she completely stopped talking to us and went to go help at other customers. I told her we want our money back and she said, "well I'm not going to refund for the drinks you had". Ma'am, that's not how you run a business. Just admit you messed up and take ownership of your mistakes to help a customer out. - Fourth she mentioned that other tickets have been lost today and other foods have been stolen before. This just shows how disorganized this placed is. We were able to ask for our money back but it was a battle about it. I was disappointed because we wanted to support your business but at this service? Heck no! Do not come here. And from reading other reviews now we did not miss on the food.

The Kunafa Crepe is by far one of my new favorite desserts!…read more We walked in to get a quick bite to eat! The menu is huge and legit has anything you can image on it. The dessert waffles on display caught my attention. As I pointed them out to my wife a male employee or owner pointed out a plate and said, "try the kunafa, it's a Turkish dessert. You must try the kunafa crepe. It's mind blowing." So without hesitation we ordered the kunafa crepe and a lamb gyro! When the crepe came out be explained that the kunafa has cheese on the inside and it covered in a crispy crust drizzled with honey. Then wrapped in a crepe which is drizzled with white chocolate and pistachios! I took one bite of the crepe and knew I would be back soon to get another!! The crepe is perfectly cooked and the crispy cheese filled inside is so light and perfect! Mind blowing was a description of this dessert. It was hard for me to start eating my gyro until I took the first bite which solidified my rerun back to this restaurant! Everything we ate was delicious and the service was too notch!
