Pecan Berry Chicken Salad

I'm not a sandwich person so I like their salads, soups and sometimes spuds. Food generally gets to our table fast, even when the place is a little crowded

This sandwich is always good! Fresh, made right. Staff is nice, good with giving suggestions. Always a place to sit and eat, clean and family oriented.

I like McAlister's a lot and wish there was a location closer to me. I wasn't even aware of this location until we decided to eat here the other night. The employees at the counter were very friendly and patient while we decided on what we wanted to order. I had the McAlister's Club Wrap with chips. The wrap was really good. The honey mustard gave it a nice flavor. I've had the potato salad before and it's really good but I wanted something different for my side this time. My friend had the Ultimate Nachos and said they were good. It's unusual for a deli to have nachos, but it certainly sets them apart from other delis. I love McAlister's iced tea and didn't realize they have flavor options (peach, black cherry, and strawberry). I opted for regular unsweet tea with lemon slices. Their tea is up there with Chick-fil-a. It's never bitter! The employees were so great! They brought our food out to our table quickly and checked on us while we were eating to see if we needed anything. They bused our table so quickly too when we were done eating. It wasn't super busy in there but they were on top of it. Bonus points for having a great playlist!

Mc Alister Deli National Ice Tea Day My favorite drink is the Arnold Palmer iced tea. It's always fresh brewed tea at McAlister deli. Today I also went for the Harvest Chicken Salad sandwich on a croissant. Chicken salad at its finest. Lightly toasted bread, fresh spring mix, tomatoes, cranberries to add the sweetness and a few pecans for that crunch. Service was on point and the facility was clean inside and outside.

Cold broccoli cheddar soup and unbeatable bread.

Soup was Luke warm, sandwich bread so hard could not eat it, just had the meat. Terrible service, understaffed however restaurant was clean. Just skip this location and head to the one on University in Sugar Land.

McAlister's needs to bring back the PecanBerry Salad. Like seriously. It's the first thing I had at this location and I'll be honest in saying that I haven't been back since they discontinued it. As delicious as it is, I only gave 4 stars due to the inconsistency in salads each time I ordered. One day, the salad would be a perfect 5/5, whereas other days, they were out of ingredients and I had to inquire about it before being given an alternative option. There was always ample amount of chicken, the fruit was fresh, and I absolutely loved the raspberry vinaigrette. The candied pecans were the perfect addition. I imagine the other salads are the same -- big in size, full of protein (if ordered), and made with fresh ingredients. Customer service was always stellar every time. It's a new location, so I'm glad to see it's off to a great start. I'm sure the PecanBerry will make its way to the menu again (probably a seasonal item), but I'll try to bring myself to try some other menu items in the meantime.

Really wanted cucumber and tomatoes. But got more onions than I should have.

Girl yelling at coworkers. Guy coming inside because they didn't carry out his curbside order. Mostly onions in cucumbers and tomatoes. Not a fan...

This is supposed to be the king club with sliced turkey

This sandwich is made extremely sloppy and is completely falling apart. I won't order from this location again

This was a really nice place with very attentive staff, if not overly attentive, because many people don't realize it's open due to all the construction around this place. I like the variety of sandwiches and the combos where you can mix and match things. They do have unique tastes on classics like muchroom soup, which tastes like portobello mushroom, which gives the soup a distinct flavor. The only comparison I'll make to Jason's Deli is that you may not feel full after the combo. With the McAlister's you get the soup and sandwich. Jason's Deli will still add chips, which won't make you feel like you haven't eaten anything. It's not a knock against them, but something you should consider. I'm interested in coming back here again, once it gets busier, because you'll have a better idea of how attentive the staff is once it is busy. For now enjoy it, because once people realize it's open, it'll be packed.

Craving a salad and The Hubs suggested here. I ordered the grill chicken salad add honey roasted almonds with chipotle peach dressing. The Hubs ordered the king club sandwich with a side cesar salad. My salad was good! The chipotle peach had a lil kick with sweetness in it.....DELICIOUS! I just wish they had bleu cheese lol. Anyhoo, The Hubs enjoyed his sandwich and got a happy plate! His side salad almost made him full, it's just that big.

Manager seemed to have a terrible attitude and could care less about anyone in the restaurant. Quality of food was terrible. Attached pics of what I ordered vs. what I got (a pretty sad sandwich!) Also ordered a peach iced tea and a chicken tortilla soup. The soup was cold and was not given any chips to go with it. The tea was also just okay - it use to come with peach chunks and now they are only adding syrup. There are much better places in the area for sure!

This place is a little more expensive than I remember but the McAlister's Deli still hit at 3 AM! I My favorite one being the Tasty Basterd.

Do yourself a favor and ask for Alexandira to be your waitress…read more I mean wow, I was shocked at not only how good the food was, but the service as well. Alexandria was prompt, attentive, and explained special dishes to us first-timers perfectly while also allowing us to enjoy our food and not feel rushed. My fiance and I both worked in the service industry once upon a time. We will definitely be back, for the food yes, but mostly because of how incredible Alexandria was. From the jump, the hostess greeted and seated us quickly, and our server was absolutely fantastic--attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time. We started with Hibiscus Margaritas, quickly upgraded to a pitcher (zero regrets), and jumped into appetizers. The roasted red pepper hummus with parmesan crisps surprised me in the best way--really good. The Brussels sprouts and lettuce wraps were the clear standouts, an easy 10/10 and the main reason I'll be back. Some other apps were hit-or-miss for my taste, but that happens. The vibe was relaxed and clean, with a nice buzz once the Friday after-work crowd rolled in. The manager checked on us multiple times, gifted us their house-made potato chips (Chef's Snacks--crispy and addictive), and even gave us appetizer coupons after hearing we work at a school and were scouting a spot for a happy hour social. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way. Solid drinks, strong food highlights, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Lazy Dog definitely earned a return visit.

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming--he thanked nearly every customer he saw multiple times for coming in and even acknowledged the tip that was left, which was such a thoughtful touch. Beyond the outstanding hospitality, the food is exceptional. So far, I've tried three different sandwiches, two pasta dishes, and the triple salad with both egg salad and chicken salad, and every single item has been delicious. It's hard to imagine anything on the menu not being equally good. My only wish is that they offered outdoor seating. I often have my small pup with me and would love the option to sit outside and enjoy a meal there with her. Overall, this place is easily a 10/10.
