This is a brand new Jersey Mike's location in Stafford, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into getting it set up and looking good. The place was a bit overstaffed when I swung by, likely due to recently opening and still training employees, but they were all hustling, taking care of customers and making sure orders were filled. There's no indoor seating at the moment due to the pandemic, but I figure that will get added when it's easier to accommodate dine in patrons. They did have several tables clearly marked for delivery service pick up-- Doordash, GrubHub, etc. which I felt was a nice touch given the current situation. The mix of hot and cold subs is interesting and unlike what I've found elsewhere. I really liked their Chicken Bacon Ranch Philly and my wife really liked their Classic Philly Cheesesteak. I'll have to come by and try some of their other options.

TLDR: This Jersey Mike's earned my likes! Visit: Weekday (lunch) Order: Big Kahuna (add mayo and minus the mushrooms and jalapeños... cuz it's basically the Mike's Classic with extra cheese and only costs about $.30 more) Rating: 8.4/10 This JMike's location was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions, and adhered to Covid procedures by wearing masks and gloves. I haven't been to a Jersey Mike's in years, but today had a hankering for a good Philly Cheesesteak. Lemme tell you, you could do a lot worse by going elsewhere. This was satisfying to the Max. The peppers and onions were slightly sweet (which complemented everything immensely), the cheese was creamy and melty, and everything was piping hot. Is it as good as getting a cheesesteak in Philly? Probably not... but if I'm looking for the next best thing in the Great State of Texas, I'm giving this a "Do it."

I ordered a giant sub. Turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard, pickles, and onions. I use to love this chain. The quantity of meat and toppings used in their sandwiches have reduced significantly. It wasn't bad just what not what I received in the past. Inflation strikes again.

Is how they work ?

I have stopped by several times and have had a good experience each time. By far the most freshest and great tasting sandwiches in our area.

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming--he thanked nearly every customer he saw multiple times for coming in and even acknowledged the tip that was left, which was such a thoughtful touch. Beyond the outstanding hospitality, the food is exceptional. So far, I've tried three different sandwiches, two pasta dishes, and the triple salad with both egg salad and chicken salad, and every single item has been delicious. It's hard to imagine anything on the menu not being equally good. My only wish is that they offered outdoor seating. I often have my small pup with me and would love the option to sit outside and enjoy a meal there with her. Overall, this place is easily a 10/10. If you're in the Stafford area, I highly recommend stopping by--just note they're open Monday through Friday until 2:00 PM, so plan accordingly.

The only thing eaten was the Lays chips. Absolutely awful. I would never, ever recommend this place for anyone. Yuck. Negative stars.

It was one of those first-bite moments where you just stop and look at your food like... wait. What is this magic? The bread was perfect, soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The sauce was incredible, flavorful without overpowering everything else. And somehow they made the carrots taste amazing. Carrots! I don't know what they're doing back there, but it works. I paired it with a Vietnamese coffee and that sealed the deal. Rich, bold, slightly sweet, exactly what you want. Instantly, this became one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area. I was so excited about it that I brought my kids back that weekend, only to realize they weren't open. Total heartbreak. So definitely check the hours before you make the drive, especially if you're not close to Stafford. I think I might be in love with a restaurant. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I will say, though, that the two employees manning the fort were very efficient in cleaning and taking people's orders as they came in and out of the shop. with a small store, it's important to keep it clean and they were on top of that i ordered the newly added an hanoi bahn mi and my friend the tko. both were delicious, savory bites but we agreed the an hanoi took reign. we didn't get any of the drinks they serve but they looked tasty and we agreed on getting one the next time we stop by! if your local, stop by to grab a bite for lunch. otherwise, make the drive! totally worth it ‍

Cute place with a heartwarming backstory. Nice and busy for brunch on a Saturday morning!…read more I got the scrambled eggs with chorizo and onions and it was DELISH. Also came with a biscuit and jam, which were average - the biscuit tasted like it might have been from a box or mix rather than scratch? But not sure. My friend got the Oliver's breakfast which was a large portion, and she also got a blueberry pancake, which was packed full of blueberries and had a nice crispy edge. She also ordered hot tea and got to choose her tea bag from a lovely box, which was a cute touch. The only thing I might say is that the owner was a bit brusque/gruff. I understand being businesslike and I know customers can be a pain in the food industry, but his attitude was just not very welcoming I suppose. Still a good experience overall though! Glad to see Oliver's is doing well!

It contains balsamic marinated mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, feta whip...all on what I think is an herb focaccia. This time, the balsamic was so prominent, I couldn't eat it. Which is saying a lot because I eat lemons like oranges. The liquid also soaked through my bottom piece of bread, making it soggy and inedible. My husband tried the Reuben and it was fantastic. I would definitely come back to order that one. I think I'm gonna have to steer clear of the other, due to inconsistency
