Everything was excellent but the stand outs were... Tocino sandwich--egg, crispy hash brown, and tocino'd up bacon! Which is genius. Ube pancakes-- perfect Ube taste, not too sweet (which is def a compliment among Asians) Sinigang popcorn chicken-- just crispy little morsels of goodness. We got enough food for 4 people for under $40. Coming home from Seattle, we are floored. (It would have been $75 there.) Also, seafood city is a vibe, with the karaoke blasting for background music.

Conveniently located immediately to the left side once you enter the doors into Seafood City, you immediately get the sense that you are inside a home, very warm and just homey. The staff here is friendly and the menu has a good variety of snacks, sandwiches/burgers, and drinks. I've really enjoyed the Smash Burger, Fili Bistek Sando, and the Loaded Longanisa Fries. As for drinks, the pumpkin latte was good (might be seasonal) and Mango Graham Cloud are very tasty. I will say the food and drinks here are very rich and you will be (overly) stuffed after you're done. Maybe I'm just too old to be eating this frequently now, but that won't stop me from craving it. Will definitely be back here soon enough.

It was one of those first-bite moments where you just stop and look at your food like... wait. What is this magic? The bread was perfect, soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The sauce was incredible, flavorful without overpowering everything else. And somehow they made the carrots taste amazing. Carrots! I don't know what they're doing back there, but it works. I paired it with a Vietnamese coffee and that sealed the deal. Rich, bold, slightly sweet, exactly what you want. Instantly, this became one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area. I was so excited about it that I brought my kids back that weekend, only to realize they weren't open. Total heartbreak. So definitely check the hours before you make the drive, especially if you're not close to Stafford. I think I might be in love with a restaurant. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I will say, though, that the two employees manning the fort were very efficient in cleaning and taking people's orders as they came in and out of the shop. with a small store, it's important to keep it clean and they were on top of that i ordered the newly added an hanoi bahn mi and my friend the tko. both were delicious, savory bites but we agreed the an hanoi took reign. we didn't get any of the drinks they serve but they looked tasty and we agreed on getting one the next time we stop by! if your local, stop by to grab a bite for lunch. otherwise, make the drive! totally worth it ‍

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming--he thanked nearly every customer he saw multiple times for coming in and even acknowledged the tip that was left, which was such a thoughtful touch. Beyond the outstanding hospitality, the food is exceptional. So far, I've tried three different sandwiches, two pasta dishes, and the triple salad with both egg salad and chicken salad, and every single item has been delicious. It's hard to imagine anything on the menu not being equally good. My only wish is that they offered outdoor seating. I often have my small pup with me and would love the option to sit outside and enjoy a meal there with her. Overall, this place is easily a 10/10. If you're in the Stafford area, I highly recommend stopping by--just note they're open Monday through Friday until 2:00 PM, so plan accordingly.

The dessert (a tiny brownie) was also terrible. The only thing eaten was the Lays chips. Absolutely awful. I would never, ever recommend this place for anyone. Yuck. Negative stars.
