I love the build your salad idea . They have many options from type of lettuce, cheese , proteins and toppings. You may choose your size salad bowl ( small to large ) which price varies. Some protein add ins cost more such as shrimp or crab meat . My salad was fresh and the service was great! The establishment was clean and the outdoor seating was comfortable. I'll definitely return. read more

Salata - Small salad Romain lettuce - Salad Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

This place is AHHHHMAAAAZZZZZIIIINNNNGGG!!!!!! No place else can you get such a salad experience. Its Salata!

The gentleman who served us was so gracious and kind. He made us feel super welcome and not rushed at all.

Let's begin with a Raplata for Salata. I like to sing fast songs but my fans love the BALLAD I like to log in but my password's INVALID I'm walking in the air with a Snowman like ALED And I like to go to Salata when I want SALAD Fresh greens are something for which we RALLIED And I like to worship Barbie if you'll let me be CANDID Anything she wants especially a tossed SALAD But she would never want me if I looked like DJ KHALED I wonder if my parking pass is still VALID I wonder if my voice could ever sound like KHALID I wonder why my d*** just got rock SOLID But I love Salata when it comes to SALAD The salad itself was maybe three or four stars as opposed to the five star salads in some of the best locations, and the portion size was about four stars, although it wasn't huge which would lead to 5. Their croissant is amazing too, not healthy but omg, that whole wheat croissant is worth the price of admission alone, and you get one free with your salad. Oh, and the best dressing is the Lemon one, but a lot of people like Fresh Herb. It's a lovely large location with a little room in the back as well, so there's plenty of places to sit and eat. It's definitely one of the better locations that we have been to, and it's part of the super fancy mall and pretty gorgeous outside in a modern "shopping village" way. The better locations are Weslayan (#1 fave, the best employees and biggest salads!), Gray (some great employees, good salad) and I-10 next to Energy Corridor/Hwy 6 (great ingredients, #2 fav!). However, I had to increase the rating because a couple of the employees were really friendly, although one of them a little bit less so. The reason I rounded up from four to five stars is because of the girl that was here that recognized me from Yelp. She was so excited and happy and extraordinarily lovely to us. She was thrilled that the person who reviews all the salad places had come in. I'm usually told that I'm the person that reviews all the boba places, but salad is more healthy so it's nice to be associated with that as well. She is the reason I will definitely be back to this location. And let's finish with more rap: Finding good food is hard, finding good salad is HARDER Sometimes you pay a high price, some times you have to BARTER Sometime Barbie comes here in fencenets, sometimes in a GARTER But if you want a wonderful Salad, go to SALATA Now I have to go, so I'll Salata Alligator. read more

Decent food at a decent price. Salad was chock full of lettuce, spinach, & everything else I could ever imagine. Food was fresh and the place was clean, even in the restrooms. A bit annoyed by the volume of the pop music, but a person could carry on a conversation fair enough. read more

I was just looking for something really simple and chill for dinner. I chose this spot because it seemed like I could get some thing that was an Uber heavy. This is basically make your own salad/wrap which is something I very much fancy. I got to pick everything that I want it in my ramp and since I'm a picky eater sometimes I love that. The girls that help me were very accommodating, I asked for a side of radishes ( which I know is weird ) and they had no problem charging me three dollars for it and I have no problem paying the three dollars for it as well. The freshness was great, they had a large selection of drinks and even had freshly baked cookies which were excellent. For something low-key and quick and light, this is the spot in the neighborhood. Everything else is super Duper heavy. read more

I love Salata but I was fairly disappointed with my recent experience in Sugar Land. I ordered online through the app and came in to pick up after work. I took a quick look in the bag and saw that everything was there: salad, baked pita chips, silverware. When I got home, all ingredients were on my salad, but portions were off. It's almost as if they put a small salad in a regular container. Barely any salad when I asked for Salata Mix & spinach. Asked for Spicy Chipotle Chicken and there were barely any chicken pieces inside. Overall, not impressed. This location is close to work, but maybe I'll stick with another location next time. read more

There is no better salad establishment than this. There are about 50 toppings to choose from, everything is always fresh. The croissants are soft and delicious warmed up. Highly recommended read more

I ordered a salad to go today and when I got it home the grilled chicken that I ordered was not included. I'm not going back to the store so now I'm living without the chicken that I paid for. Their salad is not cheap to begin with. Also their app has started adding a tip automatically so be careful when using it. read more

Do you know that place that you go and the service literally sucks asss well the shift leader at this location makes it feel and look that way is i don't mistake her mane is "Jena"" Jeaana" like she takes my salad fron the lettuce section all the way to toasting section just to leave it there like hello how is charging me Gaspar the invisible team members there was no another worker that will charge me because the other girl was in the first section taking a costumer and making online orders that just plain disrespectful like hello lady finish my salad or at least understand wtf I'm telling you she needs better training Plus salad isn't even mix read more

Salata - regular salad - Salad Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

My boss took me out for lunch on my birthday earlier this year, and she allowed me to choose the location, so I chose Salata (she and I have different "tastes" in food) as it was a good compromise. I knew that if I chose Salata, I'd understand the menu, know how much food I was getting, and be aware of the usual level of quality. Salata held up, but since it was my birthday, I opted for 2 cookies too! This was my first time getting a cookie at Salata, and it was good - I was surprised because I don't usually think of "salad places" as having good cookies. It wasn't super warm or soft, but it was a good addition post-meal. I also saved 1 cookie for my post lunch coffee + snack that usually happens around 2pm. I opted for a regular sized salad with seasoned chicken, veggies, a few seeds, and a side of dressing. Their service is exactly what's needed for the lunch rush, and I liked that I could get my dressing on the side. I always disliked how some places douse a salad with so much dressing that the salad isn't visible anymore. Luckily, Salata held up to its reputation. Also, be wary of parking: either park in the garage or pay for your curb parking; towing is definitely enforced in Town Centre. read more

Great salads. Kind of pricy but worth it. Love the avocado dressing. Tea is good too.

Back at it again with another review. This location acts like it's a crime to ask for more toppings. It makes no sense. 1 scoop of strawberries for a regular salad?? The same scoop you would put if I got a small.. might I add I'm a very frequent customer and I went in once and they charged me for adding extra toppings such as ORANGES, STRAWBERRIES AND CRANBERRIES. I was under the impression that's free especially when I regularly pay $20+ each time I come in. I thought hm.. maybe paying for extra toppings is new. Since that day they never charged for extra again.. so either that was a short term policy or someone stole my money. read more

Monica made my experience pretty pleasant today. No one gave me an attitude and the person checking me out was sweet too. The toppings are always fresh and the place is neat as well. Also, thanks for not giving me shit about my extra peppers. You guys rock! read more

Salata's a great place to go when you are trying to eat a little healthier. I got the wrap which is basically a huge salad wrapped in tortilla. They have a huge variety of greens, veggies, protein, and sauce choices. It's basically a salad bar. You choose exactly what you want in your meal so it's pretty hard to go wrong unless you don't know your own tastebuds. The side of sesame chips they give youvare great and go very well with the wrap. It's a bit pricy for a salad wrap but I believe they are using quality ingredients that may make it worthwhile. read more

I ordered a salad through door dash and was fairly impressed. The order came just right as requested. It was a good amount of shrimps. They were not too skimpy on the protein. I included a bunch of items and all of them were there. The apples were a bit sour for my taste but still everything was fresh. read more

You will not get more for your buck. This place are loosing customers this is why they have only 3 people working here! I will not paid $13-14 only get $8 worth of food! Get more for your buck. 10898 Westheimer Rd Houston, TX 77042 United States This is my third time here, my first time the staff gave me a lot of salad. Let me preface my review by saying that I love Salata as a chain. I've been to several around Houston and have never had any issues. However, I've come to this Salata probably twice in the last 3 years because the service is consistently awful. They're definitely a lot more stingy with their toppings at this specific location and they are 100% not as friendly. I have reported my complaints to the Salata headquarters (based in Houston) and was told each location operates independently. It's really a shame that service isn't consistent across the board. read more

I'm constantly having issues with this Salata and always brush the issues to the side, but this was just really unacceptable. After waiting 25 minutes after the online order was said to be ready, I received my salad with a ton of toppings I didn't ask for and had to pick them out (see oranges, grapes, raisins). This could've been completely avoided if the person making the salad actually read the ticket order. Completely ridiculous for the price I'm paying. read more

The visit to the store on 7/27 was not great the hispanic women had attitude when you asked for toppings on your salad for the price you pay the customer service was awful I will never visit that store again read more

My wife and I are frequent Salata goers but this is the last time I go to this particular location. I wouldn't write a review because I got a wrong order- it happens sometimes. I'm writing a review because there was a fly in one of my salads and am being told I need to come in person to get a full refund and a manager wouldn't speak to me over the phone. A refund on food with a bug in it- shouldn't be an inconvenience to the customer. The manager had her employee go back and forth with me like a hostage negotiator and I felt so bad that I had to end the call with the young man hearing my complaint. TLDR there was a fly in my food and general management needs to check in on this location read more

Food is always fresh. Always. But the time it takes to get serviced- it's just ridiculous. Wednesday night, around dinner time and there's only one person working there. Normally it takes me 5 minutes- maybe 7 minuets- but this time, just for me to be helped, it took 15 minutes. Best type of protein to go with: spicy chipotle chicken. Best type of dressing: Chipotle. In case you can't tell, I like to have a little kick in my food. Food is great but service is just horrible, and because this is the only location in my area, guess I am stuck with these guys. read more

Very nice selection and veggies were very fresh. Good choice if you are cutting carbs.

I don't like this location at all. The people are not helpful or personable at all. And I got a little sick after eating this salad too... There is plenty of choice although the staff are stingy with toppings. A tablespoon of shredded cheese or 5 wafer thin radish slices is just too little. You have to say more please a few times. The quality seemed ok but I had an upset stomach after eating here. Not sure why. I checked the website after and it said you're meant to get bread or bread chips on the side. I didn't see these and wasn't offered any. Not that impressed compared to other salad buffets I've tried. read more

Salata - Regular size salad with tofu and artichoke additions - Salad Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

This was my first time here and I can honestly say won't be the last. I know it's easy for people to say it's a salad place shouldn't be hard to do but if you don't have fresh ingredients and the right flavors with proteins than you can mess it up. I had a salad with spicy chicken and shrimp with lots and lots of Toppings. This place was very clean, practiced Social distancing, very helpful, very attentive. I do not have a negative about this place at all. Wish I would have known about this place a lot sooner but I know now. I love salads and can eat them everyday. And with the amount of toppings they have you can always switch stuff up. I added a picture but unfortunately I had already ate half of it. I will be back and will be suggesting this place to friends and family. Always good to eat healthily. read more

Hands down my very favorite lunch spot. They have the freshest ingredients. Yes it's in the pricey side, but each morsel of deliciousness is worth every penny. It's like a chipotle or subway but 1000x better and for salads. You start by telling the waiter if you want a salad or wrap, (I always go for salads - the large size of course) then choose what ingredients you want from a plethora of mouthwatering options. I just about always go for the fresh herb dressing, it's tangy and perfect. I tried the tuna once, wasn't as impressed as I am with the amazing shrimp, or the herb marinated chicken that I go for when I'm trying to save a dolla. Run, don't walk to Salata if you know what's good for you. Literally. read more

My friend wanted to bring me here a month ago but I ran out of time. This time round, when I was up North, we have time to have some healthy eating. Is like a buffet, but they have servers scooping up your choice of greens, fruits and protein. I have the fake crab meat and shrimp for protein. Tons of dressing as well as some offering of breads. Overall, it was good, but most important, the place was very clean. My only beef is the servers need to be a tad friendly. They have one much closer to home, so I will definitely be going there. read more

There are so many ingredients here - it's like a salad lover's dream. Even if you're someone who doesn't normally like salads, surely among the 100 or so ingredients you can piece together a salad that will suit your tastes! Sometimes you have to tell the employee(s) to put a little extra of an ingredient you really like because there are SO many choices that they end up just putting a small amount of each ingredient. DO watch the employee(s) closely as they're putting your salad together. It's probably really mind-numbing and repetitive work, so sometimes they mis-hear you and/or accidentally get the wrong ingredient... usually not a big deal, but if they accidentally put in a salad dressing that you dislike, then you'll have to start all over. One employee did that to my mom's salad and then got upset because the salad had to be redone, but it was the employee's own mistake, not my mom's... Be sure to pick a starch (bread, pita chips, etc.) because it's included in the price of your salad. read more

The salad is good but they are so skimpy with the lettuce! So annoying to only get half a bowl.

I love this place!! I was surprised to how much I have grown to really enjoy dining here. I am on a vegetarian diet for religious reasons so when it came to searching for appetizing meals that would satisfy my pallette and satiety, I went on a whim to try Salata out. I venture into the Sugar Land Town Center often and reallly needed to try out these new restaurants in the area other than my usuals. It is located across from Starbucks and next to Taisho. It is actually a big place with a large screen TV in the back of the restaurant near the restrooms. There are about 3 tables outside for patio seating as well. It is a build your own salad or salad wrap. Think of it as a Salad chipotle. You stand in line at the beginning of the salad bar where you begin to tell the Prep person dressed in white with a white chef hat to complement, of your desire for a salad or wrap. They take a big silver bowl for your salad or wrap and you begin selecting your salad. 4 types to choose from and you can even mix. I get the Salata mix salad with some spinach. Choose your additional toppings...me? Tomato, cucumbers, olives, bell peppers, cheese, sun dried tomatoes, pasta, mushrooms, tofu, and cheese. Next is the protein if you want any but I opt out. They have shrimp, chicken, and seafood mixes. They have a great selection of dressing which they do allow you to sample prior to pouring it in your dish. I get the lemon vinegrette and spicy chipotle dressing. I also add avacado for an up charge of $1. I get my wrap wrapped in either cool cucumber or southwest tortilla. Served with pita chips and I complete it with a cup of tomato basil soup. This is a compete meal that just fills me right up. If not, i usually have left over soup. Their Tea is also awesome so dont forget to try those. Service is great. I haven't had any problems. They were always friendly and fast. I have even gone twice in one week. So if you want to get full and have a light meal... Head here!! This is coming from a person who doesn't really repeat salad much or enough greens as they should but when anyone says they want to eat here, I'm always down!! read more

Pretty good if you love fresh salads. Don't remember much about this one visit. No negative experience.

My FAVORITE salad bar in Houston. I love being able to choose all my ingredients, but also have my salad prepared and tossed for me! I usually get the half kale and half salata salad mix, load it with veggies, a sprinkle of feta and get their awesome house dresing. Topped with baked tofu and a few croutons and BAM. Perfect salad. Its a tad pricey, but the serving is GIANT, plus you get free bread if thats your thing. Also great, helpful staff. read more

I always heard really good things about this place so I was looking forward to trying it, but I was very disappointed. The customer service at this location was terrible yesterday. They are misleading about their prices, weren't friendly at all, and all of their food looked premade like it had been sitting out for a long time. That being said my boyfriend and I both got really bad stomach bugs after eating here. Two salads for $30, terrible customer service, and getting sick. I definitely won't be going back. :( read more
