    5pcs Fried Oreo

Why didn't I discover this place earlier? I was surprised how close I was from my location so decided to stop by for lunch. The staff were super sweet and nice. There was lots of seating and a self serving style. I also noticed they had color pencil and paper bags for the kids to do. I order 2 of the comb of 2 piece fish and 6 piece shrimp (Cajun style). Which came with 3 pieces of onion rings, a piece of toast, 1 hush puppy, and some fries as sides. Everything was fried to a perfect crisp but wasn't oily and didn't become soggy. Though I wished the fish and shrimp had a little bit more flavor but it did come with your choice of tartar sauce or cocktail sauce which helped. I also ordered the fried Oreo which had a super nice crispy outside and soft inside. Overall, I highly recommend coming and trying their food. I have to come back and try the rest of the menu.

The burgers here are amazing. Large, juicy and flavorful while being reasonably priced. Included photos are of the Crazy burger of which a combo with fries and a drink is $18. French fries were crispy. The sweet iced tea was sweet and crisp. I've been here maybe 10 times and the food is always great. Fish sandwich and the other burgers are good too. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant that has ample seating with tvs. They are always super nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

I've had my fair share of fish n chips plus burgers. The average American consumes about 3 cheeseburgers a week or 150 a year coming out to 50 billion cheeseburgers annually. I've had cheap and expensive burgers but Jlb cheeseburger has to be top 10 for me all time. I was blown away how good the overall taste was. I was not expecting it to be that good. The best part of the burger are the buns. What!? The bread? Too me it tasted like a fresh baked egg burger, made from scratch. It was nice and soft with ultra fluffy interior. Fresh vegetables, creamy American cheese, and lovely meat patty. Must get a double meat, I recommend with extra cheese. I love the crispy edges on the meat patty, that tells me it was cooked not on a grill. A must try with the house 1000 island sauce and ranch. The white fish cornmeal is great, moist fish with crispy cornmeal, nice amount of salt. I will say for the price under $6 for 1 piece is a little expensive plus it was ultra thin. The London fish style is the best way to go. The batter is nice and beer battered and with the type of batter it doesn't dry out the fish. Add the house tartar sauce and the battered fish was amazing. Plus it was more plump and juicy the white fish. I decided to try out the chili and for $1 it's good, the chili is nice and earthy, great meat flavor, I can see the chunks of meat inside the chili as well. Not too overly greasy and love how it has no beans. Great chili to top on the burger too.

Great lunch spot for a burger. The portion sizes are huge. They make a really good, solid American cheeseburger here

I ordered food from this restaurant for my family. The burger's texture was off, like something extra had been added to the meat besides seasoning, almost like a filler. The tater tots tasted old and refried and were way too greasy. The fries were okay, but still different than usual. Both the chicken sandwich and the fish were disappointing -- the filets were thinner than expected, with more breading than meat, and they were fried way too hard. I usually go to the Stella Link location, but since I was in the area, I tried this one on Richmond. I won't be making that mistake again.

I ordered the patty melt and the double cheese burger. The patty melt needed more cheese and so did the double cheeseburger. I intended to eat at this chain for several years and I decided to order. The meat was seasoned and I enjoyed the ample amount of pepper. The fries were mediocre and the tater tots were the same but I love cafeteria tots. I just thought for the price the burgers could be better. More cheese, more veggies, more butter on the patty melt.

WOW! I have no words other than that. I am new to the Houston area from Southern California, home of In-N-Out. I know GREAT burgers when I have one, and this place doesn't disappoint and lives up to its near perfect ratings. The bread is baked in house and is absolutely phenomenal! The owner, J.R., is a So Cal local who moved to Houston years back to raise his family, and he couldn't have been any nicer to my 94 year old grandma, my Uncle and me. My Uncle suggested taking us here, and honestly I have been thinking about this burger since I left there last Saturday! I got the burger with bacon and avocado and it was nothing short of delectable goodness in my mouth until the last bite. The fries were cooked perfectly and the staff was kind, courteous and kept the place very clean! They had these amazing deep fried Oreo cookies for dessert which were amazing, and that's coming from a guy who isn't a huge fan of sweets. I will be back very soon to try other things on the menu since my Uncle told me their fish sandwich is pretty amazing as well! Thanks for your genuine kindness and making us feel so welcomed while we enjoyed your delicious cuisine, J.R.! I might just be back sometime this week it's that freakin' good!

I love this place.... But damn, it's a lot of food. Come hungry. We were a party of 6 and had plenty of room BUT most of the booths are for 4 or less. Cute place. I wish them success. Service was top notch.

Kaila took care of us and her service was excellent, she was attentive, friendly, and offered some great recommendations. While the menu is somewhat limited, everything we ordered came out hot, fast, and really tasty. Everyone in our group enjoyed their burgers, and I especially loved the Brussels sprouts, shrimp salad, and the crab puffs. Parking can be a bit of a hassle in the area, but there is a parking garage adjacent to the restaurant which makes it manageable. Overall, it was a great birthday dinner and I'll definitely be returning.

The Brussel sprouts and crab hush puppies were great. The breakfast skillet, I could have done without. It had absolutely NO flavor. Luckily I asked for some sour cream and they were able to provide it. That's the only reason I was able to slightly enjoy the dish. The drinks. The mimosa was perfect. Hard to mess that up though right? I asked if they had any stouts and if so, if they could provide a sample. I'm so happy I asked for a sample and didn't just order the "one" stout they had. The beer was flat. So disappointing! Overall, the place was okay. I'd more than likely return for their drink happy hour, but it's a hard pass outside of that.

Yesterday was my birthday, and I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time. Seriously,…read moreabout a year. Every time I'm in town, it's either too far, I'm short on time, or (of course) they're closed. FYI: they're closed on Sundays... learned that the hard way, lol Today, though, fate intervened. I was in the area visiting one of our business clients, drove right past it, and immediately told myself: after this meeting, I'm turning around and eating there. No excuses. Fast forward...I parked in front, and I swear it felt like there was a halo over the restaurant name. Okay, maybe I'm being dramatic... but if you've been craving a place for a year, you'd understand. Walking in, the décor was warm and inviting. There's wall artwork and a shelf filled with Filipino snacks...Chocnut, which instantly took me back to childhood. That alone already had me smiling. My servers, Rhiley, Hailey and Adrian weresuch a pleasant surprise. Super welcoming, shared a bit of the restaurant's history, and made the whole experience feel personal. The vibe reminded me of the hangout spots my little brother and I used to go to comfortable, familiar, and full of heart. Now, the food...I knew I was getting a burger... but deciding which one? Not easy. They've got multiple options, and yes...burgers with rice combos (Filipino-approved ). I went with the Jaboi Burger: Siopao bun, Wagyu patty, medium rare, Sauce that tied everything together beautifully...I also ordered the garlic fries and sampled their sauces. My favorites? The house-made mayo and BBQ...both solid wins. To end the meal, dessert was a must. I ordered the halo-halo (small size), which honestly is perfect for sharing. A sweet, nostalgic way to close out the experience. Everything was amazing. Truly worth the wait and yes, I'll definitely be back. Once we sat down, we were served a small bowl of potato chips which were pretty bland. We ordered the lechon kawali as a warm up. It was very crispy, dry and lacking in flavor. The sauce tasted like a mix between balsamic dressing and brown gravy, but didn't really help improve the taste of the pork belly. For entrees, we ordered the Flip 'n Patties burger and the mini Kamayan. The burger itself was good, but the unexpected pickle (not listed on the menu) kind of ruined the burger for me. The mini kamayan arrived mostly lukewarm, and several of the meats were dry. The chicken pupu was decent, Tito Don's BBQ tasted like a dry bbq brisket, the longganisa reminded me of a seasoned hamburger patty. I skipped the fliproll after my friend said it was bland. The decor is very casual, the service was friendly and attentive, and parking was easy with a free lot.
