I have seen this place often, but this is my first time having the chance to check it out. They have a very extensive menu filled with healthy items and it shows the calorie amounts. It took me a minute to look over everything and try to decide on what I wanted. The cashier was kind and patient to let me look and he answered my question about some of the popular items and what was in the different wraps. I decided to go for a wrap with a side of their savory spinach. I also ordered their Mango Tropics smoothie. Now I will say that I am used to a sugary smoothie but this smoothie was pretty good without all the extra sugar. The savory spinach was really delicious. And the Santa Fe wrap was good too. I am a sauce person so I did request for extra sauce on the side. It was a pretty good delicious meal overall. I would definitely recommend checking them out and trying something off the menu. I would definitely go back again. read more

My new go-to spot for a healthy meal full of protein! I am really loving all the dishes I've tried so far. I enjoyed the Mexicana Bowl and the Arizona bowl. My husband loved the Buffalo keto plate. It's the perfect place for when I really want to eat out but I also want to stay healthy! read more

Closed before advertised time..they were busy watching the FIFA worlds cup full of people.

First time having this for lunch, I ordered the Mexicana Bowl and was left disappointed. I'm not sure if it was just an off day for the kitchen or what but I would not recommend this. The chicken and rice had no flavor , and lacked tenderness. The beans, well there were only like 10 beans scattered throughout the bowl. Definitely not was I was expecting. Maybe I was my fault and chose the wrong item? I will maybe come back and give something else a try read more

I was with a child and we felt a bit uncomfortable with all the employee sitting around in the customer seating area shooting the sh*t, so we left as we needed a place to sit down to eat. Let me be clear. The workers were not working and were not having lunch. 4 of them were all sitting at the same table shooting the sh*t. And that's fine. But I just don't care for that environment. Maybe you do. The temperature outside the day we went was mid 50's. No stores were closed due to weather. read more

I've been here a handful of times and the food is always very delicious! However, there is a woman there who I believe could be a manager maybe? She had always appeared to be unfriendly, but it was just my initial thoughts as someone else has always taken my order. The one time this woman takes my order, she is unfriendly. She did not greet me or anything, I kindly greeted her and she went straight in to asking me what I was going to be ordering. I don't expect a full on conversation, however to be greeted is feel the acknowledgment. After I ordered, a man came in after me and she did a whole 360, she was friendly to him, asked him how he was doing and also greeted him. The food may be great, but having employees who are like this does not make the food worth it. read more

Found this little gym on my health kick. This is my new addiction. This place satisfies the health nut or the average person. They have it all out for u to read can satisfy any diet. But the big thing is the food can be guilt free and good. The wrap was fresh and the chicken was cooked on the spot. I would just ask for extra sauce. I'm a saucy person. But I can't wait to be back to try the burgers and pasta and protein shakes. Servers were nice and paying attention, and owners were watching, making sure everyone was taken care of. read more

I get it that this food is supposed to be to be healthy but I rather eat unhealthy food versus what they serve here. The chicken was burnt and dry and the food was just drenched in teriyaki sauce. Like is this very healthy food? What type of oil are they using? The vegetables weren't fresh, they were soggy. This place feels like a scam, they just took Asian Fusion and Mexican food and rebranded it as Muscle food and slap a bunch of dieting names on them. read more

Cool place and good food! Their burgers taste really good and are pretty healthy at the core, so you don't feel guilty for eating a "cheat meal." My favorite dish: the turkey chili bowl. 5/5. Sitting at home after 8pm I just didn't feel like going anywhere so I hopped on Uber Eats searched under healthy and this place came up I had heard about them so onto the menu. I chose a Grilled chicken Caesar salad and which I added protein grilled shrimp and OMG! This has to be one of the best Caesar salad I've ever had I think the only thing that could've made it better would be fresh Parmesan didn't really realize it was missing that until just now while writing the review though. Maybe it's because I haven't been eating well the last two weeks but nevertheless it was an absolute lifesaver and I will be ordering again. read more

They serve really good food for reasonable prices with an emphasis on healthy without necessarily being salads. Located next to the venerable Briargrove Pharmacy and 24 Hour Fitness parking lot on San Felipe at Winrock. I had the Rocky Wrap with a side of steamed broccoli and a Coke Zero. I was trying to be good today and this filled me up without blowing my diet. Good flavors with chicken breast, turkey meatballs, a little mozzarella and marinara sauce in the Rocky wrap. While some of the other reviewers seemed to have nit picky problems with this restaurant, I really liked it. I don't get how our experiences could be this different. Bring the bar down in terms of expectations with restaurants like this where you can easily get in and out for $12 per person. This is not supposed to be Tony's in Greenway Plaza. read more

Healthy, but a bit austere for me. I did take out some was gone when I figured this out.

Finally found something that provides healthy options other than salad in Houston. Small location, but they are efficient in the space. Order at the counter, then the meal is served to you at a table or at the "bar". My meal the SantaFe wrap and a side Caesar salad that was included was prepared fresh. Here is the great part, it was very flavorful! Not overwhelmed with sauce. The chicken was lean but not dried out! Today I did eat the jalapeno wrap, but if you are on the Keto diet, it is easy to eat just the protein out of the dish. Glad I found this gem! Typically this area does not offer many healthy eating choices that actually taste good. I will be returning anytime I am in the area!! read more

Yes, another update. I'm on a 90 plan to be fabulous for an upcoming trip and I made all my lunches last week.... let's just say I'm tired of myself right now and remembered I can count on MMGrill to give me a calorie conscious solution that is actually pretty dang on tasty. They did not fail me today either. Got the Tex Mex wrap with cucumber salad and YUMMOlicious!!! my only issue is that I ordered for delivery which should have been an hour but was an hour and 20 min. They charge $2 for delivery and I tipped $1. Next time, I'm going to pry my azz from my desk and drive the 10 min from my job just to pick it up. Notice I didn't say I'm giving them up... no way!!! They make it easy to stick to a plan with this great tasting food....unlike my-fit-but-tastes-like-the-struggle-foods. read more

Not good at all. The only reason that this is not one star is because they got the order right. Haha! I know that delivery won't be as good as the in-restaurant dining, but these were definitely not all delivery related issues. The Texas was nearly inedible! 1)The chicken was so hard tough that it broke the plastic knife it came with. I couldn't even eat a few pieces of it. 2)There was WAY too much sauce. I felt like I ordered sauce with a side of chicken and broccoli. I ended up cleaning a lot of it off with napkins. 3)The cheese used looked and tasted like shredded sliced cheese. It was not good, and just slid off the chicken in sheets. The Burger was bland and soggy. I imagine that was because of the condensation from the heat in the box. The Burger could be better packaged for delivery. I'm not sure how they expect bread to fare well in a completely tight sealed plastic box that's barely big enough for the burger. I had to call to get the nutrition information on the slice of cheesecake because it was not advertised. They weren't even able to tell me more than that it had 30 carbs, 4 grams of fiber, 4 grams of sugar, and no indication on how much of that is sugar substitute. Not a great thing for someone who is ordering sugar-free cheesecake. Lastly, I paid $2.99 for a "side" of guacamole, and got the tiniest amount of guac. It was maybe the amount of a melon baller scoop. NOT worth $2.99. The whole meal cost basically $30 and was not an enjoyable lunch. Definitely do not understand the hype. read more

I rarely post on Yelp, as a matter a fact this is my first. I stopped in for a protein shake after receiving positive recommendations from the Orangetheory staff. Maybe the food is good‍ My strawberry protein shake was AWFUL. No real strawberries; fresh or frozen...base liquid is water and one sip left a horrible artificial sweetener taste in my mouth. I love the idea of this restaurant, as someone who is into fitness and is also very health conscious, this restaurant seemed like a no brainer. I really appreciate that they list out the nutritional value of everything as well as the variety of food options in the menu. I went during the lunch rush, so there were a handful of people in the establishment. Half of the cooks and the gentleman taking orders were not wearing masks. This was a huge concern for me when your handling people's food during a pandemic. Other than that, the workers were nice and my burger was good. I would love to return and recommend this place, but not if the workers aren't taking the health precautions for their patrons to not get sick. Will give it another try down the road when Covid isn't as prevalent. read more

I was a little hesistant in trying this place but a friend of mine took me there. It's a small place but they have alot of options. I went with the wrap which was big and full. It also had a serving of asparagus which was steamed. The menu ranges from smoothies, chicken and salads. They show the calorie value for everything. I love the options and the calorie value. I don't like that they don't show carbs or fat. If your on a specific diet its hard to tell which options are the best. Overall its a good spot if your trying to have a low calorie diet. I would come back and try it again. read more

LOVE Muscle Maker Grill! It's so funny I never noticed this restaurant until I saw it on Yelp. I literally parked in it's (shared) parking lot with Orange Theory Fitness 3 days of the week and never paid attention. When looking for something to eat, I noticed this place and I'm so glad I found it! I started off by ordering online via Yelp and picking it up in store. Super easy process! I definitely recommend if you're in a hurry and don't have time to dine in or wait. They can even deliver to you. I love when you get something to go from them because their to go containers are the reusable meal prep containers which is pretty cool (eco-friendly!). A significant percentage of my check-ins on Yelp occur at my local gym. Even though fitness is a big part of my life, I'm too much of a foodie to eat healthy all day, every day. But here and then, I like to do my part. Muscle Maker Grill is exactly that. Located in the same shopping center as 24 Hour Fitness and another gym, talk about locating your store strategically! There's a large parking lot but parking can still be a little tricky at peak hours due to all the meat heads working out. Muscle Maker Grill mainly offers a selection of wraps, pasta, and smoothies among other items like stir fry and sandwiches. The interior kind of looks like a gym and you see a steady stream of people stopping by for a meal post-workout. The manager is friendly and always makes sure you're taken care of. I had the Rocky Balboa wrap which comes with your choice of side. I mean how can you say no to a wrap with a name like that?! After recently seeing Creed, I felt like it had to happen. The herb wrap is filled with grilled chicken, turkey meatballs, cheese, and marinara. I opted for the sweet prices which is a premium side with a $1 upcharge. Washed it all down with a mango/banana/pineapple smoothie. This is super healthy food folks so it's not going to be the best meal you've ever had but very tasty for healthy food. Some have complained about the portion sizes but I thought it was more than enough for a solid meal. After finishing my Rocky Balboa wrap, I was tempted to throw on a hoodie, find a set of stairs somewhere in Houston, and make my way to the top while pumping my arms at the end in victory. Came here after a gym session with my sister and her boyfriend...on our way here we were all worried that the food would be bland... Wish they were organic/GMO free but you can't have it all...the owner was friendly, passionate and approachable. Food came out fast and service was all around enjoyable. Would highly recommend this place if you're a health conscious eater...all gym peeps should try this! It's 2015 y'all...let's lose the eating disorders, quit the excuses and start eating right...places like this make eating good and looking/feeling great easy and enjoyable! I have been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years ordering meal plans from them every time. By far the best value for your money in my experiences which is why I have stuck by them. The level of customer service between Paul and Jose is unbeleivebale. I always feel important and valued when I come in and they do a fantastic job. The meals are always consistent in flavor, taste, and quality. Again, I have tried several other spots that could not keep up with the consistency and quality every single time. I pass up multiple Muscle Maker Grills just to get to this one on San Felipe. I will continue to come here as long as I live in Houston because I have consistently received customer service over the past 5 years. I've tried several things so far; turkey meatballs, sweet potato fries, pasta salad, rice and beans, cucumber salad, steak MMG wrap, chicken tex mex wrap, euro wrap, etc and I honestly tell you it is alll good! The place is clean, staff is very friendly, it is reasonably priced and....for food with your health in mind, you would never be able to tell because it all taste so yummy and you don't feel guilty afterward! The menu has the calorie count next to each item which is awesome and THEY DELIVER! I've ordered delivery once and it came in record time, no complaints there! Place is conveniently located on san felipe st by 24hr fitness. Quaint nice little place with sports on their tvs and music playing. Staff was 50/50. For example the guy who took my order was great, even called me by my name tag, however the younger gentleman seemed like he was a temp from what a burger. I ordered takeout, which was pretty fast. Utensils included without asking. Nuggets spicy flavor, was pretty delicious with a slight kick of spice. However, this canadian doesn't handle Texas spice well. The godfather was my entree and a healthy choice. The peppers, mushrooms and cheese were a great addition to the chicken. Altogether, I felt like I was eating significantly healthier than most places I have been too. I would recommend it for those interested in eating right. read more
