I have seen this place often, but this is my first time having the chance to check it out. They have a very extensive menu filled with healthy items and it shows the calorie amounts. It took me a minute to look over everything and try to decide on what I wanted. The cashier was kind and patient to let me look and he answered my question about some of the popular items and what was in the different wraps. I decided to go for a wrap with a side of their savory spinach. I also ordered their Mango Tropics smoothie. Now I will say that I am used to a sugary smoothie but this smoothie was pretty good without all the extra sugar. The savory spinach was really delicious. And the Santa Fe wrap was good too. I am a sauce person so I did request for extra sauce on the side. It was a pretty good delicious meal overall. I would definitely recommend checking them out and trying something off the menu. First time having this for lunch, I ordered the Mexicana Bowl and was left disappointed. I'm not sure if it was just an off day for the kitchen or what but I would not recommend this. I've been here a handful of times and the food is always very delicious! However, there is a woman there who I believe could be a manager maybe? She had always appeared to be unfriendly, but it was just my initial thoughts as someone else has always taken my order. The one time this woman takes my order, she is unfriendly. She did not greet me or anything, I kindly greeted her and she went straight in to asking me what I was going to be ordering. I don't expect a full on conversation, however to be greeted is feel the acknowledgment. After I ordered, a man came in after me and she did a whole 360, she was friendly to him, asked him how he was doing and also greeted him. I chose a Grilled chicken Caesar salad and which I added protein grilled shrimp and OMG! This has to be one of the best Caesar salad I've ever had I think the only thing that could've made it better would be fresh Parmesan didn't really realize it was missing that until just now while writing the review though. I was trying to be good today and this filled me up without blowing my diet. Good flavors with chicken breast, turkey meatballs, a little mozzarella and marinara sauce in the Rocky wrap. While some of the other reviewers seemed to have nit picky problems with this restaurant, I really liked it. I don't get how our experiences could be this different. Finally found something that provides healthy options other than salad in Houston. Small location, but they are efficient in the space. Order at the counter, then the meal is served to you at a table or at the "bar". My meal the SantaFe wrap and a side Caesar salad that was included was prepared fresh. Here is the great part, it was very flavorful! Not overwhelmed with sauce. The chicken was lean but not dried out! Today I did eat the jalapeno wrap, but if you are on the Keto diet, it is easy to eat just the protein out of the dish. Glad I found this gem! Not good at all. The only reason that this is not one star is because they got the order right. Haha! I know that delivery won't be as good as the in-restaurant dining, but these were definitely not all delivery related issues. The Texas was nearly inedible! 1)The chicken was so hard tough that it broke the plastic knife it came with. I couldn't even eat a few pieces of it. 2)There was WAY too much sauce. I felt like I ordered sauce with a side of chicken and broccoli. I ended up cleaning a lot of it off with napkins. 3)The cheese used looked and tasted like shredded sliced cheese. It was not good, and just slid off the chicken in sheets. The Burger was bland and soggy. I imagine that was because of the condensation from the heat in the box. The Burger could be better packaged for delivery. I'm not sure how they expect bread to fare well in a completely tight sealed plastic box that's barely big enough for the burger. I had to call to get the nutrition information on the slice of cheesecake because it was not advertised. They weren't even able to tell me more than that it had 30 carbs, 4 grams of fiber, 4 grams of sugar, and no indication on how much of that is sugar substitute. Not a great thing for someone who is ordering sugar-free cheesecake. Lastly, I paid $2.99 for a "side" of guacamole, and got the tiniest amount of guac. It was maybe the amount of a melon baller scoop. NOT worth $2.99. The whole meal cost basically $30 and was not an enjoyable lunch. Definitely do not understand the hype. read more

I'm on a 90 plan to be fabulous for an upcoming trip and I made all my lunches last week.... let's just say I'm tired of myself right now and remembered I can count on MMGrill to give me a calorie conscious solution that is actually pretty dang on tasty. They did not fail me today either. Got the Tex Mex wrap with cucumber salad and YUMMOlicious!!! my only issue is that I ordered for delivery which should have been an hour but was an hour and 20 min. They charge $2 for delivery and I tipped $1. Next time, I'm going to pry my azz from my desk and drive the 10 min from my job just to pick it up. Notice I didn't say I'm giving them up... no way!!! I really appreciate that they list out the nutritional value of everything as well as the variety of food options in the menu. This was a huge concern for me when your handling people's food during a pandemic. Other than that, the workers were nice and my burger was good. It also had a serving of asparagus which was steamed. The menu ranges from smoothies, chicken and salads. They show the calorie value for everything. I love the options and the calorie value. I literally parked in it's (shared) parking lot with Orange Theory Fitness 3 days of the week and never paid attention. When looking for something to eat, I noticed this place and I'm so glad I found it! I started off by ordering online via Yelp and picking it up in store. Super easy process! Place is conveniently located on san felipe st by 24hr fitness. Quaint nice little place with sports on their tvs and music playing. Staff was 50/50. For example the guy who took my order was great, even called me by my name tag, however the younger gentleman seemed like he was a temp from what a burger. I ordered takeout, which was pretty fast. Utensils included without asking. Nuggets spicy flavor, was pretty delicious with a slight kick of spice. However, this canadian doesn't handle Texas spice well. The godfather was my entree and a healthy choice. The peppers, mushrooms and cheese were a great addition to the chicken. The interior kind of looks like a gym and you see a steady stream of people stopping by for a meal post-workout. The manager is friendly and always makes sure you're taken care of. I had the Rocky Balboa wrap which comes with your choice of side. I mean how can you say no to a wrap with a name like that?! After recently seeing Creed, I felt like it had to happen. The herb wrap is filled with grilled chicken, turkey meatballs, cheese, and marinara. I opted for the sweet prices which is a premium side with a $1 upcharge. Washed it all down with a mango/banana/pineapple smoothie. This is super healthy food folks so it's not going to be the best meal you've ever had but very tasty for healthy food. Some have complained about the portion sizes but I thought it was more than enough for a solid meal. After finishing my Rocky Balboa wrap, I was tempted to throw on a hoodie, find a set of stairs somewhere in Houston, and make my way to the top while pumping my arms at the end in victory. The turkey was INCREDIBLY dry and the secret sauce on it didn't help one bit. The flatbread was alright but I expected way more flavor in a BBQ chicken flatbread. Both nuggets were mediocre, the chicken it's self dry and not tasty. The sauces on the nuggets helped but only for a moment. The best part of the meal was the sweet potato fries, if I ever ate here again it would be solely for the sweet potato fries. Also the most disappointing part was the front of the house employees disregarding the mask policy and working without them. The place is clean, staff is very friendly, it is reasonably priced and....for food with your health in mind, you would never be able to tell because it all taste so yummy and you don't feel guilty afterward!
