This place is amazingly delicious! Staff is friendly, restrooms are clean and seating is comfortable. I saw someone else stated the elote was salty, I noticed it's because they add salted melted butter in addition to other fixins. I'm sure you can omit it. Otherwise the birria is authentic and consume is fresh. Their one location isn't local to me so I'm not sure when I'll be able to visit again but I'm glad I did! Highly recommended.
This place ALWAYS delivers. I'm so mad I've never had the Sandillada before because it was so much fun! It's topped off with a sour belt of candy, a chamoy straw, and frozen chunks of watermelon. I don't know where this was during the summer, but it'll definitely get me through next year! The quesadilla with Hot Cheetos was meaty and cheesy with a satisfying crunch, exactly what I wanted it to be. The tacos can be very onion forward, so if that's not something you enjoy, there's more than enough on the menu to catch your fancy.
Was craving birria ramen and didn't want to drive to the Heights or Stafford to the other place. Luckily, Yelp helped me out as usual! This place is off the beaten path for sure and located in a small shopping center with an eclectic mix of shops. Plenty of seating inside, seems clean. Only note is that it's at least 80 degrees inside with no fans or a/c. I was fine but it may not be comfortable for others. At 7 pm on a weekday, it was not busy at all. A couple families came in for take out and ice cream. Service was 5/5 - a very nice lady sat us and took our order. She speaks English but our convo was half Spanish and half English. I was thankful for my high school classes. It took about 15 min for food to come out, which is more than reasonable when food is being made to order. Food and price were all 5/5. - Agua fresca - melon and pineapple: Both were very fresh but I liked the pineapple more. The melon was a bit heavy for my preference. Large size comes out in a giant cup. - Cheesy birria tacos: Comes in a set of 4. Smaller than some other places, but more than enough for a meal. Cheese perfectly melted and shell nice and crisp. Comes out piping hot and fresh with a container of consommé and some very green sauce. Alone, the consommé tasted salty, but for dipping tacos it was perfect. Meat was tender and flavorful - overall very good! - Birria ramen: This was perfect and hit the spot. It was served in an instant ramen bowl with the broth and birria meat added. The broth was savory and the noodles soft the way I like them. There's an option to add two cheesy birria tacos for an extra $2-$2.50, but I passed since we already had the order of 4. This came out soooo hot and stayed that way for 20+ min. It was fantastic. The broth was so good - it's different than the consommé. I couldn't finish so took it home. The lady saw us walking out with the ramen bowl and stopped us on the way out to dump it in a to go container for us. So sweet! -Gordita birria: Maybe we don't know what a real Gordita is as we're only familiar with the fast food one, but this was not what we expected. It was very good, but had no idea how best to eat/tackle it. It was birria, fresh lettuce, sour cream, queso fresca sitting between two fried tortillas. It was super messy to eat, especially after we drizzled the consommé on it. ~$40 before tip, so pretty reasonable for two people. Drinks alone were ~$9-10 but that's less than you would pay at most tea shops. Great place to satisfy a birria craving!

Birria Cheesy Tacos 3/5 I thought this dish was okay. Not as much flavor as I was hoping but it definitely served me well for dinner. Green salsa was a super green color which i thought was quite unique, but the taste was yum with a nice punch. I wish the corn tortillas held their shape a little better too. Beef Fajita Nachos 3.5/5 you can get these with nacho chips or tortilla chips. Covered with plenty of cheese, but not as much fajita as my bf would have liked. Pineapple Aguas Frescas - 4/5 super refreshing! I would have it again for sure! Cucumber Lime Aguas Fresca - 3.5/5 a little watered down and not as flavorful compared to other ones we've had. Would like to see it have more of a cucumber flavor

Made me change the order. What I got costed more but I still was okay. It wasn't as good but I was just gonna go back for the birria pizza another day. Now I look and they don't even have it on the menu OR the taco platter they advertise and whenever you call they NEVER answer. Big let down. Then we ordered the Munchie box that comes with like 8 items and they sent us 4 tacos . Yall stay away they scam!!!!

This place is really interesting. They literally have everything from tacos to ice cream to chicken alfredo and salads. Since this was my first time coming here I wanted to try the birria and it was delicious! The plate of birria tacos is $12.95 and comes with 5 cheesy tacos, consome, salsa verde, cilantro & onion, limes, radishes, and cucumber. I didn't try the ice cream, but it looked delicious. They have such a wide variety of dishes I wanted to try and will definitely be back to try more.
First time! Been seeing them on Instagram a lot so I decided to try them with my bros. We tried the Birrias. I've been looking for the best one in Houston and have been trying different ones from different places. So far, this one falls on 3rd place. The birria tacos and quesadilla was great but the soup lacked in flavor. It needs more flavor to taste it when you deep the food in. That's the highlight. The aguas was good-a bit too sweet but was ok. I remember the place was a bit gloomy. They have a cute wall art and their food presentation is A! So hopefully they put more lights to make the place brighter. It will help in showing off the store more on social media. People love taking food pictures especially in good lighting.
The place is cool service is always cool and nice. Been coming here for years now I like the food. They serve good portions.

Had delivered on door dash! Five Stars The birria pizza is amazing! It came with everything you could want--consommé, sour cream, fire house dressing, green sauce, and tons of fresh toppings like cucumber, limes, and onions. It was a little oily from the delivery ride, but a few minutes in the air fryer made it absolutely perfect and crispy. 10/10 recommend! read more

If I could vote this place 10 stars I would. I just found out of this place about a week and a half ago & I'm already in love with how AMAZING the food is here on top of the wonderful service. Family owned & everybody is very welcoming & attentive! The food hits every bite, I literally came here 3 days in a row. That's how good it is. If you love Birria & great authentic Mexican food. Probably the best quesabirria tacos in Houston. A literal hole in the wall. But once you go, you'll run back. It's halal friendly so that's a great plus point! I got the beef birria tacos which actually come with 4 tacos, consome, green sauce, and toppings to add into your tacos. For the price point this was really great! Other places usually come with only 2-3 tacos and now a days you have to purchase the consome separately which is a headache. I was pleasantly surprised at how much you get in one portion here. It's delicious!!! You have to check it out if you're ever in the area!! read more

I am completely blown away at how amazing everything taste here! The agua frescas are the best that I have had in houston by far. From the food down to the ice cream; everything is made fresh daily. The service & ambiance is very inviting & welcoming. That's very hard to come by these days. If you guys are still reading this.. get in your car & go there now! you wont regret it!! read more

Where to start... drove about 30min to get there walked in no one greeted us we walked up to the register and grabbed a menu a guy told us to seat ourselves that someone would attend us shortly Sat down waited for a server for about 15 min Took out order , this is where I got mad lol I literally waited for over an hour to get 5 birria tacos To which I'm conclusion weren't even tasty They lacked flavor the consomé did too The only thing that helped the tacos would be the green salsa other than that I am good , will not be returning. They need to act faster especially since they weren't even busy multiple people got their food before I did and my order was smaller La demora fue más de una hora por 5 taquitos de birria y no tenían buen sabor lo que les ayudó con el sabor fue la salsa verde porque hasta el consomé estaba desabrido read more

Came back to try the Birria tacos and it was a complete miss. The tortillas were layered three times, on top of them being extremely dry. The saddest part was how the cheese was hard and crumbly instead of melty. As for the soup to dip the tacos in, it was so bland that salt couldn't even help it. I thought the color was a little off when I initially saw it as a more potent broth wouldn't have been as clear. It tasted more like water than a flavorful stew. I was so excited to try these but sadly, my entire order ended up in the trash. I'm basing the three stars on the Birria tacos alone and not the entire establishment. I'd still come back to try the regular tacos. read more
