We showed up as a party of 14 on a Sunday afternoon. There was no problem. We were seated almost immediately and the staff started getting our drink orders, brought chips and salsa, and menus. There were many other customers but they made us feel like we were the most important customers! The food was amazing - and with 14 people we tried most of the menu. I definitely recommend El Sol. Over charging for everything. I've never been charged extra for homemade corn tortillas from a restaurant that rather use store bought. They also charged extra for onions! And $5 for coke is absurd. They are completely empty at lunch hour which made me nervous to come but I wanted to grab some lunch in the area, the order took way too long to get out. Will never come back. read more

This was a quick let's get up and go place. I picked for breakfast .The workers were nice. The setting was good. Only 2 waitress so you do have to wait for attention. The food was store bought. The only thing I believe was authentic might have been the breakfast hash and salsa on my huevos. The beans tasted store bought like from a can or pouch, the tortilla were definitely store bought and Not Homemade. And I had to return my eggs because I asked for over medium and I got extremely well done. Twice!!! I originally found this restaurant on Uber eats. I've ordered through Uber at least 5 times and even brought a friend to sit and eat inside the restaurant. We arrived as soon as it opened and it was very clean, quiet, and the servers were friendly. The breakfast was delicious and so were the pupusas. Believe the hype! The food is eye rolling good! The restaurant is quaint and has a small town feel. The salsa was wonderful. It was room temperature,bso I can't complain about it being cold. It was spicy and very flavorful. I had two or three bowls. Lol. I ordered the Fajita Ranchera (chicken), which came with a tiny salad, refried beans, rice, and tortillas. The ranchera sauce was amazing and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The refried beans didn't seem like your typical beans. The color was a cross between pinto and black beans and the taste was more flavorful than either one. The rice was a good cup size and it was ok. The tortillas were made just right, but I couldn't tell if they were homemade or not. They tasted a tad bit waxy, like the commercial brand sold in stores. We had our order fulfilled by Grub Hub. Quite satisfied with our order. I ordered the pupusas , flautas, chicken enchiladas and beef fajitas. Although it was delivery, food was quite tasty. Only one thing that could have made the meal better, which I could have been at fault. I didn't expect the hot sauce to be as great as it is. Was doing Uber eats and I had an order come from this place , while I was waiting for the order I decided to get myself a drink which was 3.99 I did Apple Pay and never got a receipt back from the server and the next day I got a notification that the server decided to tip herself for that 1 drink I got the total was 10$ from my statement that I did not have any consent or signed anything to approve the transaction so I called back and I spoke to "santos" explained what happen and told me to stop by and order a meal that it was free .. I got the ground beef tostada and my boyfriend got the breakfast burrito. Both dishes were fully stuffed with toppings. The tostada was especially yummy. The Pupusas had fresh jalapeños and lots of real cheese... so since I started with that I should have known I was in for a treat for dinner - The Pechuga Del Mar was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Fresh and Wonderful!!! This is obviously a family place, wife and daughters waiting tables and helping out - The place is immaculately clean, the restrooms smell actually clean, not just covered with smelly stuff. This is by FAR a better option and experience than some of the larger & commercial places! Once in a while we chance upon one of those gems that not many would know about unless you were familiar with the area. My brother had yelp'd a place close by for lunch as we just couldn't decide where else to go.......and found this place just off the 6......sounded good as I had a hankering for some chips and salsa anyway. I'm really glad we found this place as it's a nice newly opened (5 months), small, casual, family run restaurant with genuinely nice, welcoming, and friendly people working here. I even got the chance to have a chit chat with the manager/cook (Santos) ....really nice guy....and cooks up delicious dishes! Soon after we sat down we were served the usual bowl of chips and salsa....the chips were the thicker kind which makes it easier to scoop the salsa.....and the salsa was thicker than usual....yummy delicious and very spicy! You have to be careful though as they can get very addictive! I forgot to factor in the likelihood that the dishes would Texas sized and probably overdid it on enjoying the bottomless servings of chips!....but it was worth it! As for our mains, I had really wanted to order the Chicken Enchiladas with melted mixed cheese on top....which comes sides of rice and beans, and a choice of red or green salsa, but my brother decided to order it too....and since I could simply just steal some off him I decided to go with my favorite Chicken (or beef or shrimp) Fajitas Dinner for one....which comes with a side of beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and usually the flour tortillas (3).....but I chose the thick fresh and homemade corn tortillas (2) instead. My chicken came out smoking on a sizzling hot plate and sitting on a bed of grilled sliced onions and bell peppers.....I was really impressed by the presentation, amount of food included in the dinner....everything was just delicious....and not salty at all like some other places. The chicken was juicy, tender, and tasty..... not overcooked and dried out like some other places. I must say that with these homemade corn tortillas, the whole meal was just perfect.....I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.....and I finished every last bite despite already being filled up with chips and salsa! I really like this place very much! .......very good unpretentious food, good friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a great find! read more

Ordered some pupusas today. Not good at all. Probably the worst I have had. The chicken had flavor. The cabbage was bland and the salsa was tasteless. The dough had no flavor at all. It looked good though. Glad I tried it. But wont be ordering pupusas here again. Once you have had really great pupusas mediocre food won't cut it read more
