Pupusas
Priscilla M.

Stumbled upon Maggies Sabor Salvadoreno located in the Fiesta parking lot on Patton. The little red truck was hidden behind parked cars, but the smell of fresh pupusas helped lead the way! I ordered a few cheese and revueltas (pork and cheese). These Salvadoran pupusas were SO GOOD, especially paired with the included pickled cabbage and salsa. Def head on over to Northside Village and grab a pupusa or two! Cash, card, Apple Pay, & Google Pay accepted 316 Patton St, Houston, TX 77009 Instagram: @thepupusatruck

These popusas were really good. I tried the rebuelta and it was flavorful. Plan to keep coming back for lunch. Service was fast and the food truck is located in front of Fiesta.

Life changing pupusas. The salsa is insanely good. Everything about it is A+. I need more pupusas already.

I still love this place. Quiet ambiance, good spot for reading or study or work…read more The inside is well lit, and if you're lucky, you'll get a spot by the window with the natural sunlight. Otherwise, you can also venture out in their outdoor patio.. a bit warmer there. I like their Chan or Vampire and wish they don't run out that often. Cafe de olla is available too. Some pastries, empanadas or tamales too. Ok wifi, some plugs. Don't look at some seats being in bad shapes. They are surprisingly comfortable and most tables don't wobble. Great vibes. Parking is sufficient. Love it here.

New favorite coffee/study spot in Houston! This place is (I…read morethink?) in Montrose area, and a gem with parking both in front (with spaces) and street parking available. The baristas/servers are so friendly, and the shop truly feels homey. Perfection for studying, with inside ample tables/chairs with nearby outlets as well as some comfy chairs and a couch. There's also a cute covered outside area which I'm sure I'll experience post summer time. They have a few yummy looking food options at a great price point - including tamales and baked pastries. I picked the chicken tamale as a light lunch - I got the most delicious chicken tamale I've had thus far, served with kettle crinkle chips and a tamale sauce to dip. There are many coffee/non coffee options. I opted for the iced horchata latte - agree with prior reviewers that this is delish. It is not too sweet and a great blend of vanilla and cinnamon that masks the espresso. The atmosphere here is cozy but focused, with a mixture of people working/studying and hanging out. 10/10 will be back.
