My first time with Cava. I was impressed with a black lentil option instead of rice or cauliflower rice- didn't look as it as an option for gluten free until now. Service was fast Got all the vegetables on the lentils and they accommodated a small portion of rice on the side too. Since it was my first time, didn't know the spice level of all the pastes they use and ending up with a very spicy concoction which I couldn't eat ! A little heads up would have helped but maybe they are used to our community eating a lot of spice so they didn't suspect anything... Casual ambience, neatly maintained. They do carry a few bottled drinks and it is displayed everywhere that their sweet white potatoes are back - whatever that means... connoisseurs of Cava would know For sweet tooth, they have cookies and brownies. Overall I was happy with my meal. Reminded me of a Chipotle restaurant but Mediterranean food. Got the spicy chicken and it did have a good amount of heat. Several in our party had never had Mediterranean before and (kinda picky eaters) they all agreed that they would return. read more

I want to start off by saying the people at this restaurant were very nice. The convenience and location are great, and the restaurant itself was clean. Unfortunately, the food at this location was just not good compared to the other locations I've been to. I usually enjoy the lamb, but here it tasted bland and lacked any real flavor. The chicken was even worse, what I received was almost entirely fat, and it was absolutely inedible. I ended up having to throw the whole bowl away because there was nothing I could eat from it. This was really disappointing because I know how good the food can be at other locations. I'm not sure what's different about this one, but unfortunately, I won't be able to come back. I would also not recommend this location to others based on my experience. A waste of $18. read more

I tried Cava for the first time today, and honestly, I don't see the hype. It's basically a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but with higher prices and smaller portions. I ordered the Chicken & Rice Bowl and the Spicy Lamb & Avocado Bowl, and the total came out to $33--which is just ridiculous for what I got. Despite adding a good amount of toppings, both bowls were noticeably underfilled, and the sauce cups were only half full. Before leaving, I checked my bag and saw only one fork. When I asked the cashier for another, he insisted he had put two in the bag. I looked again--still just one. I even double-checked at home, and there was never a second fork. Not sure why he felt the need to argue over something so small--it's a fork, not money out of his pocket. As for the food itself, it was fresh and tasted good, but it wasn't exceptional--definitely not worth the "sit-down restaurant" pricing they seem to be aiming for. Cava is trying to come off as an upscale fast-casual spot, but at the end of the day, it's just overpriced bowls with skimpy portions. I won't be in a hurry to go back. read more

This will be my third time visiting Cava. I tried Cava for the first time a few months ago, I wanted to see what all the hype was. I am a person that enjoys making her own bowls. I love the fact that I can customize it anyway that I like. When I visited the first two times, I made a bowl with veggies, chicken, extra tzatziki sauce, and the garlic ranch pita. It was divine both times. When I was done, I was full but not bloated. Fast forward to today 12/30/2024. I decided to get a veggie bowl, and it was better than the chicken. I thoroughly enjoy coming to Cava, I will only come through every couple months so that I don't get worn out with it. The service is fast even when there is a long line. There's plenty of grains/rice, salad, meats, toppings, sauces and etc The price is a little higher than Chipotle (I paid $13). The meat here is well seasoned and all the sauces are flavorful. Absolutely the best place to get Mediterranean food. Yes it's fast food, and Yes it's a chain restaurant. But at the end of the day, the food is amazing. The set up is very similar to chipotle's , where you choose your main (bowl/wraps). Then you have your toppings and dressings to choose from. I haven't tried this place officially, but I wanted to try their hummus because I heard that apparently they have really good hummus. I wasn't hungry but I saw that this place was 4 min away from me so I decided to stop by to buy their hummus. To my surprise, they don't sell their hummus in 8 oz containers like they do in selected Whole Foods groceries. Instead, they only had 3 oz containers. Now, in my mind, I was like "this is fine, because if I don't like it, I won't be wasting too much food". And plus, I'm guessing it would be like a dollar and something for a bit of hummus. It ain't gonna kill my wallet. But once I got to the cashier, I was charged over THREE DOLLARS for the hummus!!! This was the most expensive hummus I had ever gotten in my life. I don't care how good it is, no chain-restaurant hummus is EVER worth $3 for a tiny plop. I could've been like "ummm on second thought, I don't want it anymore". But my social anxiety had me chuck over $3 for my tiny hummus without complaint. But in my mind, i am scarred by CAVA. 3 stars for each dollar I spent for this tiny glop of hummus . Amazing Customer Service. I went in this afternoon to pick up a bowl for lunch and I was so impressed by the customer service by the Guest Experience Mgr and one of the male employees . They were both very nice and pleasant and went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed as I created my bowl. They were very patient with questions and didn't rush me at all. They even offered recommendations on the dressings since I am a newer customer. I really appreciated the manager on duty, she was very nice and attentive. Her badge read "guest experience manager". If you like a Chipotle or Salata, CAVA - must try! Ordered a grain/green bowl with super greens and saffron rice with grilled chicken as a protein. Added dips of tzatziki and crazy feta, topped with pita chips, feta, olives, pickles and dill dip. I even added the pita chips for dipping which was highly suggest. My husband and I order from here every week and no complaints in the past, but lately the last 2 times we ordered the portion sizes are significantly smaller than before. They put it into a flimsy styrofoam container last time and it was tearing apart even though the portion was tiny. I ordered again today and it's back in the regular packaging but the portion is also tiny again, and because there's less food it is drowning in too much sauce now.
