This cozy, unassuming restaurant in a strip mall serves amazing Thai food. The staff is kind and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable, with generous portions and great lunch specials. Pad Kee Mao is flavorful with a distinct wok aroma, the curries have perfect consistency and taste, and the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups are warm and comforting.

It's been awhile since I have ordered from here and I did recommend this restaurant to many of my friends who enjoy spicy food. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I know they're short staff and I know I may have ordered at an odd time (9:30-10ish PM on a weekend) but I'm just disappointed in taste. Forget the price, forget they're short staff, forget the mom and pop interior design... let's just focus on the food quality. Basil fried rice lacked in basil flavor. It's one of the worst basil fried rice I had in an extremely long time. Roti by itself and no soup on the side? This is the only restaurant that does this with no cup of soup. I wasn't expecting a lot but give me something. Otherwise, what's the point of ordering it if I didn't order any curry dishes? Now, my biggest disappointment... chicken pad Thai. Lacked in flavor and had a weird aftertaste. Maybe I didn't noticed it before since it was much spicier. Lacked in spice. Not sure if I will be back. On the bright side, it was simple to just order on the Yelp app and got my food on time.

Excellent food! Cozy place! Warm and friendly host! We had the larb, massaman curry, pad prik king and tiger cry! All excellent at spice level number 3! Well balanced flavor!

Great service and great food. I'm a consistent fan of this restaurant and will continue to come here!

Back again! Food is still great! This time i have pics! I got the pad ke mao with pork and my husband got the pad ke mao with shrimp again. My son got the orange chicken; not my favorite, but both he and my husband liked the crisp and the different sauce! The crispy spring rolls were excellent as usual, and we tried the Thai chicken wings tonight. Wonderfully crisp, hot and juicy, with delicious seasoning and a little bit of tang at the end. Satisfied once again!

I've been coming to Thai Lily for more 10 years. Even though we have moved far away, we still stop by a few times a year to have our favorite Thai food. The staff (Pen & BJ) have watched my son grow from a child to an adult. We love coming here and the food is always amazing!!! Now they have gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions. My mom's favorites are panang curry and Thai omelet. My son's favorites are shrimp in a blanket and cheese rolls. My favorites are papaya salad, fried pompano and pad thai.

We are just visiting the Houston area and happened to be by Thai Lily Cafe. My wife, son, and I decided to grab some food. We were greeted and seated immediately. Despite the signs apologizing for short staff and possible slow service, we did not experience a long wait at all. We received our drinks and food in a reasonable amount of time. My wife got the yellow curry, my son some chicken fried rice, and I had some chicken Pad Thai. All came out looking fresh and delicious! The food was great, service was nice, and the sweet jazz music and dim lights made my son feel fancy!

Combination pad Thai with egg roll

I was randomly craving some Thai food today so I googled the closet place to be with decent reviews. I was greeted my a lady who I presume to be the owner and she was so sweet. The establishment was very quaint and tidy and there wasn't very many people so you can sit wherever (although I got my food to go) I ordered a combination pad Thai ( chicken, pork and beef) and one chicken egg roll. My pad Thai was level 2 spicy (on their scale of 1-5). I didn't find it spicy at all. I appreciate that the food was hot and fresh but I have to be completely honest, my pad Thai had absolutely no flavor. Like none. When I got home, I legit had to add more salt, chili pepper, seasoning and soy sauce to it to enjoy it. Also my noodles at the bottom of the plate was a bit stuck together. I guess my craving was satisfied enough after I spiced it up a bit.

Great service and wonderful food! The atmosphere is very intimate. Great place to take a couple friends or loved ones.

My goodness the flavor here in every dish truly speaks to whoever is cooking these incredible dishes! We've even wanted to ask what we can do to even get our dishes at home this amazing! Their bang bang sauce is something you can rave about if you like a little kick to your broccoli. Yum! Luckily a lot of the appetizers are family style but we all still end up battling to finish the last bite before our main dish comes along! I was expecting plentiful options to choose from, but what I saw was a section for ice cream, refrigerated items, and a tiny glass case of baked goods. The sweets they had was the brownies, one tiramisu cupcake, lemon blueberry "cheezecake" and tiny muffins. That's it! I follow Awesome Bites Co on Instagram and I often see the owner posting a wide variety of goodies. However, today 06/28/2025 they had more ice cream flavors to choose from than anything else. Disappointing. I got a sample of the lavender Earl Grey ice cream and fell in love with it. I ordered two scoops. It is creamy, subtle sweetness, tasted fully like Earl Grey tea by Harney and Sons brand with a lemony flavor with each bite. The scoops are small. The other flavors didn't seem too appealing especially the sunflower butter and olive oil one. I purchased the lemon blueberry cheezecake (as I wanted to compare it to Sinfull's). The cheezecake was an absolute scam: it was just moist cake with blueberry compote in the middle with vegan cream cheeze topping. I didn't even finish it because it was overly sweet and too moist that it began to stick to the roof of my mouth. Sinfull's taste more similar to traditional ones I remember from my childhood. The restaurant itself is small on the inside no indoor seating. It's decorated in a ton of rainbow items. It's a local business that's women and Asian owned. I wanted to love this place so much. The customer service was meh; the cashier wasn't interested in making small talk like they do at Sinfull's and it appeared as if it was strictly taking orders. If I plan on returning, I'll come for the lavender Earl Grey ice cream and stick with getting my baked goods from Sinfull Bakery since they have more options and abundance of items to choose from.
