    Cranberry chocolate cookie

Everything here is gluten free I am pretty sure!! I definitely want to try this place again and get their meals. It's on the pricey side unfortunately and that's the reason I'm giving it 4 stars but The cookie I had was so good. The workers were nice and helpful.

I'm barely out of the parking lot and had to leave a review ! This is the best brownie I've ever had and their customer service is *chefs kiss* . The place is super clean and the owners are super sweet so you're definitely going to have a good day if you stop in here! I can't wait to pop in and try their other FRESH meals! Today I got the spaghetti squash and grilled chicken. They're Nola natives so I can assure you the TASTE is astounding on top of it being HEALTHY!

I've drove past this place many times in route to Trader Joe's and decided to pop in and try it out. The parking lot is fairly spacious but there is a ton of construction being done so it's easy to miss the turn in. Once inside they have food in the refrigerated section along with all of your fresh cravings. From smoothie bowls to pressed juice there was a lot to choose from but I went with the host recommendation, the serenity and it was pretty tasty. Overall a little pricey but it's probably due to the ingredients they use. I'll stop in again when I want something light.

Vegan Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies Exhale - swapped w/ bee pollen; w/ Chocolate haystacks

Ok I walked in here with a craving for a chocolate chip cookie and perhaps a nut butter fruit smoothie of some sort. The challenge (always) is to find something gluten free & dairy free (food sensitivities)... beyond that to hope the remaining ingredients in my food are organic/local is a dream that usually only comes true when I'm in my own kitchen. Dairy free + gluten free friends, REJOICE! I found a spot in Houston! (@owner, please bring this to Austin... juiceland does not compare to this place) Smoothie: They were so kind and quick to allow me to make an omission and make a substitute and it STILL turned out delicious. Like a freakin' delicious blueberry muffin... EXHALE. Chocolate coconut cookies(?) they weren't too coconut-y and weren't dry at all. Soft and cinnamon-y without missing out on the natural sweetness factor. You'll still get a chocolate chip with every bite. Chocolate haystacks: I love how clean the ingredients are. Not too sweet. Definitely excited to take this box home and enjoy it when I'm not already stuffed with an epic smoothie and chocolate coconut cookies. Wonderfully kind and genuine service. Again, I just wish there was something like this in Austin! I'd love to try their food too... fingers crossed - hope y'all do well in Houston and bring this goodness to Austin!

Visited the 1400 Prytania St Green Fork location in the N.O. On the 6th my order was nutritional and the vibe from the cashier and crew was so divine! My order was made to perfection and before it estimated time. When I arrived, Graced the inside came across beaucop more creations and combinations of healthy nutritionally foods. Definitely fasholy will be back. 100 Star rating better yet 1000 Star for the Best Juice Bar thus Far

Ask the Community - Green Fork & Straw

Is there any seating or is this place for pickup only? Thanks!

Hi, we have two small cafe tables. We are predominately grab and go; however, if you would like to sit and drink a juice or smoothie, salad, etc. we are happy to have you sit and enjoy your Green Fork goodness with us!

Which grocery store in Houston is the best of the best? You guessed it - HEB's wealthy relative -…read moreCentral Market! Unfortunately there's only one in the city, but it's "centrally" located (get the pun?) off Westheimer and 610 near the Galleria. We frequent this grocery store a few times a month, and though the products are more expensive overall than your normal Kroger or HEB, the selection is amazing and worth the visit. Here's what I love about Central Market: the produce, salads, sandwiches, meats, seafood, wine, cereal, yogurts, bread, coffee, ice cream, spices - actually pretty much everything. Even their flowers are incredible. Now here are some pro tips; listen carefully: - if you want the real, full CM experience, go on a Saturday or Sunday. You'll feel like you're at Costco waiting in line for samples and trying to push your cart without running someone over. But if you want a quiet, peaceful experience, go on a weekday during the day. You have to work, you say? Take a few hours of vacation or personal time off and head to Central Market. It'll be better than your last few vacations. - they have an app and it's amazing! You can save 20-30% each shopping trip with their offers and coupons. Make sure you add the deals in your app before you go to check out. (This part is a little annoying.) - ice cream section: buy the Hellenika Ube coconut. Just do it. Taste it and you can thank me later. It will change your life. If you want to overpay for it, fly to Seattle and find it at Pike Place Market. - stop buying spices like peppercorn and coriander seeds in bulk that are stored in bottles and jars. Go to Central Market and just buy exactly what you need for your recipe. You'll spend 24 cents for this and 58 cents for that, etc. Not $5 for a jar of spices that will lose its flavor or expire after a year. And the big question everyone asks: Central Market or Whole Foods? Whole Foods has way more locations, but CM takes the cake. It's just amazing. Trust me.

Recommend parking in the back parking lot as the front is usually always packed. We love getting the fruit from here, the juices, the cheese for a charcuterie board, and then of course all the frozen meals. Personal favorites are the jambalaya, a new item they had today was Detroit style pizza, another new item was Korean kimchi potstickers, the spaghetti, the pad Thai, and the list goes on. Also, the flowers were beautiful today, especially the roses that are multicolored and look like a sunset (red and yellow gradient/mix). The cards here are also super cute and quirky, and the wine selection is also 10/10. The chocolate selection while you walk down the checkout aisle is also something you can't forget to look at!

Subject: Complaint Regarding Inconsistent Treatment During Tote Bag Purchase at Trader Joe's…read moreAlabama Theatre I arrived at 7:15 AM and waited over 30 minutes in line for the recent tote bag release. After making a purchase, my mother who had just traveled internationally for nearly 24 hours to visit me wanted to buy another bag as a gift for friends back home. We waited in line again, but the cashier refused the sale because they recognized us from our earlier purchase. However, we saw other customers rejoin the line and purchase additional bags without issue. There were no signs explaining this policy, and it appeared to be enforced only against us. As Asian customers, this left us feeling singled out and questioning whether discrimination played a role in how we were treated. What made the experience even more upsetting was the way we were spoken to. The employee's attitude felt rude and accusatory, as if we were doing something wrong or trying to steal, when we had simply followed the same process as other customers and spent a significant amount of money in the store. We left feeling embarrassed, upset, and unwelcome. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the policy was applied differently to us than to other customers.

The parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was easy enough because it was a calm Tuesday morning. To get from the parking area to the store, you just take the elevator one level down, and then you're right inside. This place is surprisingly big, filled with all kinds of snacks, cookies, and coffee. The highlight for me was their shawarma breakfast wrap. It was top-notch and exactly what I needed. You choose between whole wheat or white pita, and it's filled with scrambled eggs, your choice of fresh or sautéed spinach, and they add potatoes as well. Then they top it with shawarma chicken, tomato, and a delicious sauce. For $8.5 it was worth every bite. Hands down, a five out of five. I also tried their coffee, which was just a standard brew sitting in ice for hours and nothing special. At $2.50, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. The real stars were the cookies. I got a coconut pecan cookie and an almond crunch cookie, and both were absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to explore the whole store, but there was a great selection of fresh produce, chocolates, and all sorts of small treats. Overall, the staff were really friendly, and the entire visit was smooth. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Five out of five stars!

Unfortunately the company lost its ground about 10 years and closed all of its locations. But now they've returned and it's better than ever. The food quality is always top tier, with tons of options to choose from. You can pick up in-store and or have it delivered to your home the same day or next day if you spend a minimum of $100. I've been to a few of the locations around town but I frequent this one the most because of its proximity to the gym I go to, it's easy to stop in right after a workout and grab and go. After visiting different locations one of the biggest changes I've noticed is the level of customer service being consistent across their stores. The employees appear to be genuinely happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Since their return I have not encountered a bad interaction with anyone. The store ambience can be hit or miss when it comes to how busy it is, it's a bit crowded around 17:00-20:00 when everyone is getting off work but there's plenty of staff to help out either way. They even carry your food out the door for you which is very nice of them but not needed. Almost feels like a white glove goodbye. My favorite go-to meals are usually the Beef Pot Roast, the Bison's Shepherd's Pie, and the Chicken Fried Rice. All the ingredients, calories, and protein information are labeled on the fridge corresponding to that meal. The last thing I want to mention is their Fit Club membership. For $10/month (no contract) you'll receive 20% off all meals with no limitations. That's a pretty great deal if you decide to shop a bit here. If you're a First Responder, Law Enforcement, or work in Aviation you are eligible for 25% off all meals instead of the 20%. In order to qualify for the additional discount My Fit Foods goes through a third-party verification company where you'll apply and they'll verify your eligibility. Their meals are packed, waiting in the fridge, and are ready for a microwave (or ready to eat if it's a salad). And they're portioned big or small sized too. The labels clearly show the macros, and I like how relatively clean the ingredient lists have been. Overall, the meals have been tasty and reheat nicely. I wished they would switch their white rice to brown rice, but that's just me (more protein and less carbs!) + some meals are really measly on the veggies with 3 small stalks of broccoli. My favorites so far: - salmon Alfredo: a bit of spice without being spicy, creamy, and the salmon stays moist. Watch the saturated fat though. The pasta ends up being on the softer side. - salmon salad: the salmon is a bit flaky but very flavorful, don't even need the dressing. The greens are always fresh and crisp. - boujee Mac: comforting! If you like taco seasoning, this one has that cumin flavor with a hint of spiciness. It's creamy and super scrumptious~ - chicken salad wrap: the chicken thigh was tender and the mushiness had some textural contrast with bits of celery, green peppers, and dried cranberries. I enjoyed the slight sweetness from the cranberries and it seemed like a big portion for the macros! Tortilla definitely was partially soggy but I didn't mind too much. Many of their Asian-inspired flavors don't live up to their names (bulgogi beef is more like peppered beef, orange chicken isn't sweet at all, Asian chicken salad doesn't taste much like Asian food = ginger, garlic, green onion, etc.). I'm Asian, so a tougher audience, but we've definitely been fooled by a lot of the labels. They have been nonetheless tasty! Service is always enthusiastic and friendly! For an introvert like me, it's a little borderline too friendly, haha~ I appreciate them checking in, but I do like to take my time and look at the labels (so maybe approaching me 4 times in one visit might be much). But if you're a newbie and don't know where to start, they're a friendly source of help :) Healthcare discounts are no longer a thing, but their fit club is $10 per month, which saves you 20% on each meal. I'll be back for more delicious healthy meals... and maybe try some of their sweet breakfast and dessert options next time!
