The store is tiny, maybe 30/40% of the selection you'd expect at a typical Whole Foods. A product that might have four or five options at another location will often have only one or two here. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and it still has the familiar Whole Foods feel. They have a salad bar and enough of the basics to make a quick grocery run worthwhile. At the same time, it sometimes feels like a huge portion of the store's traffic is people stopping in for Amazon returns. If you come here expecting a small neighborhood market, it works pretty well. If you're planning a full grocery trip and expecting the selection of a normal Whole Foods, though, it can be disappointing. I really wish this part of Houston had a full-size Whole Foods, although looking at how small and crowded this parking lot already gets, I can understand why this particular location probably can't be much bigger.

The line was not terrible and much appreciated to have space to wonder inside. The squash soups texture was not it guys. The lemongrass or root in it was unsettling to me. A quinoa base topped with organic chicken, sweet potatoes, broccoli, and spinach with a delicious spicy cashew dressing. So good! The chicken salad was devoured by my husband. My favorites are the chicken salads, beef chili, cauliflower chowder, and carrot-ginger soup. Most of their salads are delicious, with the Blake Bowl, Glow Bowl, and Power Bowls getting top marks. :) The English Toffee cookie is also totally delish! It's on the softer side but perfect for the sweet tooth. :D The parking lot usually always has space since the shops in the area are mostly in-and-out stores. The inside is bright, simple but pleasing, and open with a few tables for dining in. Service has always been friendly. I do wish they would put nutrition facts on their products! Since I can't track the macros as easily, Green Fork & Straw is my splurge (both for price and diet) :D

There's even a parking garage with elevator access. I found everything I was looking for and a few extras. The store is well-stocked and clearly designed. What surprised me was how the customer service felt. In all the years I've shopped at Whole Foods in different states, it felt different. Multiple associates kept asking if I was finding everything okay. While I understand it's meant to be helpful, and it certainly is on occasions, it started to feel intrusive after a while. At checkout, our cashier was drinking a bottle of water when we approached and continued drinking as I greeted him, holding up a finger to signal just a moment. It felt a little dismissive and not welcoming. Hence the 3 star review.

It was delicious, moist, the right amount of dense, and had chocolatey frosting that tasted pretty similar to buttercream. It was also so cool to know that the entire thing was sweetened with maple syrup. Almost healthy, haha! The process of ordering was easy enough. I placed the order online, set a time, and we picked it up in less than 5 minutes. I was even able to reschedule my pickup time at Snap Kitchen via email with the staff. Very helpful and responsive.
