It's a counter service place, and server was friendly and quiet onto get our order. I ordered a medium (10") cheesesteak with fried onions, sweet peppers and jalapeño. I was not prepared for how much steak and cheese were in this sandwich! It was so full the roll could not hold it all. And it was excellent! It may be a little out of the way but if you like cheesesteak sandwiches you should give the a try. I feel bad I didn't get any menu photos. Meat had a great flavor, a good amount of cheese and just the right amount of grease. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the roll was too soft. Walked in and the restaurant was a bit busy, lunch time crowd, seemed to be a good mix of locals and out of staters. Order was taken and wait for food was very short. A cheesesteak with Scrapple. Scrapple made in DE. $15.75 but I got 4 meals out of this cheesesteak. Was it cumbersome to eat as it is? Yes but don't be ridiculous, take tupperware (or an extra roll). There are 4 two seater tables and chairs inside and picnic tables outside. We usually order cheesesteaks, burgers, and fries. The cheesesteaks are overflowing with meat and a large can be split between two people or you can easily have 2 meals out of it! Get a fork you will need it! The BEST cheesesteak I have ever eaten. I was riding down the back roads to Dewey Beach. I needed a coffee and bathroom break. The woman who took my money for coffee called me honey. I love that since I'm always calling everyone darling (like Elvis) On the way out, I asked a customer how the egg sandwich was and he said he loves it. They even have a really nice van out back that they use to make deliveries. They also had outdoor tables as well as indoor seating. They also make their own sauces. Plenty of choices for food and drink. I will definitely make it a point to stop here and eat on my way down or make a trip just to eat here. Love mom and pop places as an alternative to the chain's. That being said in my opinion little things like ranch dressing for the broccoli bites, ketchup for the FF, more cheese less steak, and a lower price would put this place over the top. YES I said less steak. There was enough steak I could of made another med sandwich out of my lg.
