And after exchange the bartender adopted a pissy attitude. Here's my thing to the managers/owners of this establishment: I have worked in various forms in hospitality and customer service. I'm also an older person, consumer, frequent visitor of restaurants and bars. Take this however you will. It's a Tuesday afternoon... The burger was ok but the fettuccini was not able to be eaten, it was literally swimming in sauce: we tried to take some out which the excess was over a cup and still drenched, you could drink it. I also discovered a hair buried in the sauce after I already ate some and as I was trying to scoop out the sauce. it was $20 down the toilet for my meal. Then the waitress dismissed us and ignored that we brought up we couldn't even finish it sadly. She just gave us the check and walked away and ignored us after we tried to nicely mention it a few times. The lady at the counter asked how it was and we admitted pretty disappointing, but then she sort of made a joke about it instead ("some people like a lot of sauce"). She gave us a "small discount" of $2 off a $50 check and then readded $3 for the credit card fee. Then my mom and I walked in the parking lot and she stepped in a huge puddle of sewage coming from the building at the side of the restaurant near the end of the sidewalk. Since none of the reviews were recent I figured I'd give them a shot. First, the service was prompt and friendly. This isn't a sit-down place so you have to find your own spot to eat, which we did at some umbrella tables nearby. There's also some shelf tables next to the umbrella tables to facilitate eating your meal while standing. As for the food itself, I thought my cheesesteak with provolone tasted good. Fresh hearty (not tough/chewy, nor soggy/soft) roll and sufficient meat portion (not overloaded but not skimpy). To be honest, I've NEVER had a Philly cheesesteak that blew me away (other than when I make one at home using prime rib). So, whether this was better or worse than a primo cheesesteak, I don't know. But I would without a doubt eat another one of these from here if I had a hankering for a philly.
