Went here with the wife on a Saturday night. Friendly hostess said wait would be 20 minutes …read more Headed to the bar, friendly bartender got us drinks as soon as we found a seat. Hostess called us in 15 minutes. We were seated on the outside deck. Our server was friendly and attentive, food was good. Downside- since it is not the season yet, they had the deck closed up, which made it uncomfortably loud an e there was no way for the sound to escape. I'm guessing during the season, the temporary windows are open allowing sound to escape. I will be going back to find out. Still recommend this place.

YUM! The Anglesea was our first dinner out on the town during our family vacation around wildwood…read moreand it was a great start! Our server Jamie was so sweet and extremely helpful with recommendations on food on the menu and other local spots to stop in. Thanks for a great experience, Jamie! Our party of 5 tried lots of yummy food- started with the Brussel sprouts and bangin' shrimp for apps. They were both yummy and plenty for the table. For entrees, we had the fish & chips, crab cakes with mashed potatoes, the paddy wagon burger, and the Asian salad. Everyone loved their meals and I could not get enough of that salad- the chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful and the dressing was delicious. All around a 10/10 for this place. We sat outside and it was beautiful out so we got to enjoy some sea breeze and local atmosphere in the off season. Indoors the wooden bar was big & beautiful. The restaurant did have a lift for accessibility and generous space between tables outside.

Wow, talk about a hidden gem. I don't know how this place has flown under my radar for so long. We…read morevisited here for Wildwood Restaurant Week and we couldn't be happier with the dinner. The inside is very spacious and gives a very relaxed atmosphere. For the prix fixe meal, we chose: Ajvar and Pita, Mozzarella Sticks, Hanger Steak, Jelly Crepes, and the chocolate cake. Everything was amazing from start to finish. I can't believe this is probably the best steak I've had in a very long time. At first glance, I was hoping to get some steak sauce, but as it turns out, it wasn't necessary at all. They have tenderized this steak and seasoned it incredibly. It was a very soft, juicy, and delicious piece of meat that needed no sauce. I was also a huge fan of the jelly crepes for dessert. They were very fluffy and had the right amount of blueberry filling. I was conflicted between getting the jelly or the nutella filling, but I knew I would be satisfied either way given how the meal went so far. I also really appreciate the good variety of dishes they have on both their restaurant week and regular menu. Needless to say Balkan Fusion was a very pleasant surprise that blow every expectation out of the water. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised, and very impressed with the results…read more The food was outstanding. The husband started with a cup of Borsch soup, very flavorful with a nice mix of beets and carrots. Then we shared the Hummus Platter appetizer. Nicely done with Kalamata olives, celery, cucumber, carrots and pita bread. The main event included Musaka and Turli Tave. The musaka was layered up with potatoes, ground beef & pork, topped with egg and cheese with a side salad of cabbage in a vinegar dressing. The flavors were very good and there was enough to feed two. The turli tava was really tasty. It was in a stew form and plentiful. It came with pita bread which allowed him to wipe the crock clean, as a good Italian is taught. The final scene included Honey Cake and Tulumba. The cake was finely layered and extremely decadent. The tulumba were also very good, small fried dough similar to churros, but soaked in simple syrup. Alex (chef owner) and his wife Monica (server), along with their little guy Noah were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Definitely a return trip in the future for us. If you are in the neighborhood and hungry, give them a try. Don't worry, they have stuff on the menu for the non-adventurous. It's a BYOB too, that's a plus. Check them out, 17th and New York Avenues, N Wildwood.
