    Blue cheese bacon burger

The food is just as bad as the owners attitude, Just read his responses to reviews people left on Google. We got a few beers, some Irish Nachos and our meals which were BLT Chicken & a blue cheese bacon burger. Chicken was over cooked, thin and dry. Burger was gray and gross. Regardless of the size of the patties. I guess he's ok just selling cold beer. You would think a business owner would be professional enough knowing reviews are what brings people in and not all of them will be good or what he wants to hear. The arrogance he displayed when responding to mine as well as others was laughable. Maybe he should be a little appreciative of those that spend money and those that have spent money even if it was only 1 time. Much better places on the Island to try.

Great Irish bar on Pacific Ave in Olde downtown Wildwood! Nothing fancy, just a fun, loud bar serving cold beer, shots & great bar food! Huge appetizers & tasty sandwiches. The bartenders & servers are great! The infamous Johnny Gun is now performing on Saturday afternoons! If you are looking for a fun afternoon off the beach....it's the spot!

I came here for some food and a drink, but when I saw the bartender not wearing a mask I only ordered a drink and left. I would have stayed for food if he was masked. The food looked great. My drink was great and came quickly. The outdoor bar is open. They have outdoor and patio seating. One waitress was wearing a mask, but it didn't cover much.

Got the tomahawk special, Irish surf and turf, and kids Mac and cheese. Also got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Everything was unreal. Steak was perfectly cooked and feed two people. The kids Mac and cheese isn't boxed...it's not a cheap sauce either...very tasty. The fish batter was so flavorful and the Sheppard's pie was also good. The mozzarella sticks were absolutely incredible. The breading was seasoned very well, cheese was creamy and wasn't just a cheese stick. Sauce that came with them was great. Overall a fantastic meal...we will make this a wildwood tradition every summer. Also have to add...best fries in Wildwood.

I was one of the only people here on a nasty weather Friday in the off-season, but there were a solid 20 people by the time I left. Spoke with the owner, who was just a super nice, down to earth guy. Bartender was attentive and let me try a sample of a beer before ordering it to make sure I was feeling it. Menu had a ton of good stuff, but went with the corned beef and cabbage spring rolls given its an Irish pub. My picture sucks but those spring rolls were awesome. Even the mashed potatoes you could tell were home made. Awesome app. Definitely wanna try more food from here but it was a solo trip and I wasn't starving. From what I can tell tho - better than average bar food and better than average beer selection. Glad I finally checked this bar out.

Skip the gimmicks of the boardwalk and seafood places and go here when you want comfort food on vacation. Small menu but everything is house made. The pickles and mozzarella sticks were overwhelming for the three of us. Delicious steaks and everything is reasonable priced. Our server Lucas was a gem, I highly recommend trying their cherry water ice cocktail!

Cattle n Clover is a few blocks off the boardwalk and worth the venture out. They have a decent beer selection complete with Cape May and other local brews. They also have pool tables if that's what you are feeling. The kitchen is open late. I got lucky when I needed a late night French Onion Soup. Odd to have as a nightcap, but hit the spot. The bartenders were friendly. While nothing wowed me, this is a solid beach pub.

Hostess called us in 15 minutes. We were seated on the outside deck. Our server was friendly and attentive, food was good. Downside- since it is not the season yet, they had the deck closed up, which made it uncomfortably loud an e there was no way for the sound to escape. I'm guessing during the season, the temporary windows are open allowing sound to escape. I will be going back to find out. Still recommend this place.

YUM! The Anglesea was our first dinner out on the town during our family vacation around wildwood…read moreand it was a great start! Our server Jamie was so sweet and extremely helpful with recommendations on food on the menu and other local spots to stop in. Thanks for a great experience, Jamie! Our party of 5 tried lots of yummy food- started with the Brussel sprouts and bangin' shrimp for apps. They were both yummy and plenty for the table. For entrees, we had the fish & chips, crab cakes with mashed potatoes, the paddy wagon burger, and the Asian salad. Everyone loved their meals and I could not get enough of that salad- the chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful and the dressing was delicious. All around a 10/10 for this place. We sat outside and it was beautiful out so we got to enjoy some sea breeze and local atmosphere in the off season. Indoors the wooden bar was big & beautiful. The restaurant did have a lift for accessibility and generous space between tables outside.
