Pretty much what most people probably expect when they are going to dine at a beach boardwalk restaurant - average, pedestrian food that you feel you are risking your health on. The decor of the restaurant is pretty blah and drab with its maroon-colored booths and the menu is just ALLLL over the place with a hodgepodge of American "favorites" OR as I'd like to call it "heart attack" food. Surprisingly, they do serve salads here, as well as wraps and veggie dishes, but the stars of the menu are on the fried or greasy side - as in - pizza, burgers, philly steaks, Italian food, gyros/souvlaki and fried seafood baskets. Since we were kind of exhausted from our day on the Wildwood Boardwalk, we pretty much had an "F-it" attitude and needed to desperately refuel. We ended up getting 2 slices of pizza (plain cheese and buffalo chicken), a mushroom cheese steak (with whiz) and a spaghetti with meatballs. As I said, the food was pretty much what you'd expect. What we thought was going to be the best thing we ordered, ended up being the worst though - and that was the pizza. The pizza slices were pretty small and weren't all that hot by the time it reached our table. However, the mushroom cheesesteak was a surprising bright spot though. It was no real Philly cheesesteak by any means, but the bread was exceptionally soft and the presentation of the steak was decent. Did we have high expectations? Absolutely not. Should you have high expectations when dining here? Absolutely not. So with that said, before sitting down, you should know what you're getting yourself into and as long as you keep those expectations realistic, you'll mostly enjoy your meal here as it's really not the worst place you can eat, even if it looks of it.

Boardwalk dining at its core - there's literally something for everyone on the menu, so don't let the randomness throw you off. Don't go in with high expectations and you won't be disappointed! Servers were attentive and quick. Food isn't bad and you get a good amount for what you pay for, especially the kid's meals. My husband loves their gyro platter, my oldest had a house salad with grilled chicken that was fresh with well seasoned chicken, and I had ravioli with meatballs - the sauce was flavorful and the meatballs, while not as good as my homemade ones were actually pretty good! We've been a few times and have also enjoyed their pizza. I wish they had breakfast available all day, but no luck there!

Got here and had a great waitress, she was very attentive to detail with everything! All of our food was very good. Price was a little high but I don't mind paying for great food. The place a very friendly and old vibe to it!

White pizza absolutely amazing, mushroom cheesesteak (I suggest asking to add fried onions) was full and delicious. This place is great food for a cheap price!

Great spot on Wildwood boardwalk. Opens early with lots of breakfast choices. Owners working up front are so nice. Plenty of seating in the a/c.

Best steaks and friendliest service on the boardwalk. Can't vouch for sit down service but we had no issues with our take out.

Food was good. Service is very slow, and they like to yell to each other in another language. Music is loud.

I can't believe it took me this long to find Balkan Fusion but I'm so glad I did! The restaurant itself is clean, quaint, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Now, for the food we had: Cheese Burek: Made with feta, ricotta, and mozzarella, which was delicious! Next time, I'm definitely asking for their traditional Macedonian version (which from what the owner was telling us is super buttery and I imagine amazing). However I'd also be curious if they take requests as I'd love a 50% cottage cheese and 50% sour cream mix. The Mixed Board: A complete standout. It comes with pita bread plus an amazing selection of meats: -Cevapi: Perfectly grilled minced meat sausages that were absolutely delicious. -Chicken: Incredibly moist and perfectly seasoned. -Sudzukice: A spicy sausage link that's a bit different from what I'm used to in Albanian cuisine, but fantastic. It reminded me of a super flavorful, elevated hot dog (I'd love to try this served on a bun or in the pita with spicy mustard next time!). - Sharska Pljeskavica: Hands down unbelievable. I've never had this before. It's a homemade beef and pork mixed patty stuffed with melted cheese and bacon. Mind blown! If you're anywhere near North Wildwood, do not walk, run to Balkan Fusion. We will absolutely be back next year if not sooner!

They have so many options and delicious combinations on the menu that it was difficult to commit to just one. I settled on the California which was warm lobster with drawn butter topped with wasabi-avocado-cucumber aioli sauce. It was loaded with melt in your mouth fresh giant chunks of lobster meat. It also came with a generous side of delicious tater tots, homemade coleslaw, and street corn which was nice and spicy too. While I was waiting they handed me a complementary homemade lobster bisque also loaded with lobster meat. It was fantastic. I took everything to go and enjoyed it on the beach....perfect. As soon as you look their direction and look like you are walking towards them, they greet you. Which is pretty nice! I went with the Connecticut, because I love butter lol! I also added more meat! It was pretty good, no complaints on the size. The lobster was... ok? It was like they cleaned it earlier that morning, stuck the meat in the fridge, tossed it on the grill to warm it up, but the inside was cold and the outside was warm and dry. It could be that I just had a bad experience! My biggest issue is the lobster shells that I had in my lobster... so disappointing! I took pictures, but Yelp keeps removing them... I guess the owner pays them to keep taking down negative pictures? All in all, if you want lobster, go to Quincys 500 feet north of there next to ripleys... It is ok here, just watch out for the shells!
