Worn down - must have been a prior venue but not bad. Pancakes were delish. Omelette was tasty and waffle wasn't the ick and fluffy but tasty. This is a great hidden gem. My family has been coming to Wildwood every summer for over 20 years and has been living here year-round for about 5 years. We did not learn about this place until this past summer (2022). This is truly a hidden gem. The food is very tasty and is your typical breakfast item while having some additional tasty dishes. The prices are very fair. I love their potatoes which is a plus since breakfast potatoes are the highlight of most breakfast meals. The owners are very friendly. This place is owned by a family and is family-run. The only downside of this place is that they are small. I wish it were bigger just because I love their food so much and don't want to wait for a table, but it typically is not crowded since it is a hidden gem. I have no complaints, and the view is amazing. This is a great breakfast spot, and I believe everyone should go here and try their food! Plus, you would be supporting a small business! read more

I visited the Crows Nest Cafe yesterday. I was a little disappointed with my time there. I ordered the mango lemonade as my drink and it was fine at best. The mango syrup wasn't fully mixed and was very strong. When my Belgian waffle that I added chocolate chips for, which were overpriced at 2 dollars, and strawberry's I was a little dissatisfied that the strawberry was only one small strawberry sliced up. It ended up being a little bit colder than I would hope with a waffle. So the food wasn't what I had wished. The service however was pretty good. My waitress Mia was a quite nice, but I could tell that they were understaffed with what seemed to be only two waitresses. The overall vibe was ok, the building was old, but I sat outside so I could see the pool and feel the ocean breeze. The table had an umbrella however it wasn't sunny the day I went. So overall I feel that a three star rating is what my experience felt like. Overall the topping sizes could be larger and there could be more waitresses or waiters read more

Such a fun place for breakfast. The true hidden gem of West Wildwood. Eat indoors or outside on the deck overlooking the marina. Breakfast is delightful and there is an artist at work on the grill. She will make the kids pancakes in any shape they want, and they love it! Mermaids, sharks, birds, unicorns, anything!! And they have soft serve ice cream in the evening. Watch the sunset over the bay with a cone or a bucket of ice cream. It's enjoyable for kids or adults. (They are closed on Wednesday's, so save up your appetite!) read more

If I could give a zero or a half star I would. I've never had a worse dinning experience than I did here in my entire life. We came for a family breakfast and were 4 adults and 2 children- an infant and a 2-year-old. We were sat and given 2 tables pushed together so we could fit. It was almost a half hour before we had our order taken, and we never even received four menus. Tables seated after us were served at this point. We asked for place settings and utensils which were on every single other table and never received them. Thirty minutes later when our food started coming out half the adults had received utensils, no place mats. At this point larger tables that were seated after us had not only already eaten but had paid their bill and were leaving. I asked twice more before I got utensils and the girl bringing them tried to walk away before giving me a place setting again long after the food was in front of me. Then, not even 5 minutes after receiving our food we were asked to combine tables and give up one of the tables to accommodate other parties- at the same time 3 other tables were free. I nearly lost it. The waitress called us difficult for not wanting to get up and then starting telling us to stop talking and be quiet. I've never in my life been treated so unprofessionally in the service industry (I waited tables for well over a decade through school). She came back, ripped up the bill in front of us and asked us to never come back- as if we ever would- making a scene in front of a now packed restaurant. At one point she sited a 12- year-old employee for why we didn't have utensils. Is that even legal? Not my concern, but I would never recommend this restaurant, I was mortified at her behavior and the notable absence of a manager, owner, or any semblance of order in this place. read more
