Ok we are just finishing our breakfast and we are so full! First, even during the busy 4th of July week we were seated quickly because this place is so big. My husband had the "Hangover" and a chocolate peppermint cold brew latte and "The Hangover". It's actually served in the skillet and was huge! He loved it and cleaned the skillet. I had the eggs Benedict with homefries and a regular coffee. I was really pleased with how good the coffee is. Not bitter at all! His chicken fried steak was so tender he didn't need to use a knife. My eggs were poached perfectly and the home fries were seasoned and browned perfectly. Our server, Vasil, was attentive and paid such attention to what we said. My husband asked for his latte with oat milk, and then when he was ordering, Vasil told him that the gravy had dairy and made sure my husband was aware of that. My meal at Marvis Diner was good! Pretty run of the mill diner food. I do really like the aesthetic of the diner, surfy with a little bit of that 50s diner charm. All of the workers were very friendly and attentive, food came out quick and we were checked on plenty. i'm taking away a star just because of the price of certain things. $6 for an apple juice just seems excessive, but $8 for pancakes is reasonable. So it really just depends what you get haha. Overall though, love it here! read more

When we come to Wildwood every year, we always go out to breakfast. However, we've never been here before the outside is very welcoming and they have a cute outdoor area with parking next to the restaurant along with additional parking. Our waiter could not have been more attentive and Kind. I wish I remembered his name. Everything that everyone had was delicious. The menu is very large and something for everyone. Came here for brunch while visiting wildwood for the weekend. We were greeted immediately and sat down by a friendly host. Our waitress was quick, efficient and friendly. I ordered the Marvis heaven which had bacon, ham, home fries, eggs and hollandaise sauce. It was quite delicious! My mind was a bit blown at how large the portions were. They literally served my dish on a huge pan. I also ordered a side of bacon and mozzarella sticks, which was too much food in retrospect. My mom had the sausage omelette, which she said was delicious. We definitely couldn't finish our food due to how large the portions were so we had to take it home. Great value overall! Needing breakfast we got in the car and just drove. Marvis is where we stopped. We'd been to the pancake house in North Wildwood last year and were disappointed, so we weren't expecting much. Sat immediately and greeted by Giannis I believe. Both my husband and I opted for water for beverages. When he brought our waters (within 2 minutes) we both ordered. I had the two egg breakfast with a side of bacon. Hubs had the Belgian waffle with a side of sausage. Breakfast arrived in about 10 minutes. I was extremely surprised at how much food was on my plate. A L O T. Eggs nicely fried, home fries soft yet crispy. The kicker was the side of bacon. It literally was 8 slices. I needed about a fourth of that. I wish they'd sell a half order for $3 in addition to the full side order for $5. His waffle looked good and he said as much. Service was good. Food hot. Place clean. Cost about $12-$15 a person. If you pay with cash you receive a 4% discount. Marvis Diner you surprised me this year. My only gripe was that my son ordered "just eggs" no home fries or toast and it was $8 for 3 eggs.. he was still hungry so he ordered another plate so $16 for 6 eggs. Although we have been coming to Wildwood for decades, we ate at the Marvis Diner for the first time on May 2, 2026. It was terrific. I rarely indulge in creamed chipped beef and thoroughly enjoyed their recipe. The diner definitely had a wonderful Wildwood vibe. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My BF and I came here for the first time during our Wildwood vacation on a really rainy day around 9:30am. Surprisingly, even for a rainy weekday, it was still poppin! We got there and it was a bit chaotic because everyone is huddling in the tiny waiting area of the restaurant standing/sitting and the sweetheart hostess with a heavy accent is yelling party names out to be seated. The wait was about 25 minutes. Not bad, and by 11am, the crowd of people waiting was at 0. So moral of that story- if you're planning on coming for breakfast, expect a wait. Coming for an early lunch? Shorter wait or no wait. As for the food, pretty great for diner food. French toast was a heavy, I didn't expect them to use Texas toast for a short stack...I couldn't really finish it all. Delicious though, no complaints just a lot! My boyfriend ordered the Marvis Heaven which had ham, potatoes, eggs and cheese I think all served in the skillet lol it was definitely an interesting plate presentation but overall tasted very good. Came to Marvis on a Thursday before a Spring holiday weekend when there was a large wrestling tournament... and it was mobbed. First, I love that they added the second parking lot. So convenient. Inside was the same as before, but is always very clean. Wait staff was very flustered by it, but were doing their best. Service was slow, but it's understandable because I think the kitchen and staff were overwhelmed. I suggest the manager check what events are happening in town and schedule help based on that. Still our waitress was really working hard and had numerous tables of 4+ people. Food was okay. Nothing was hot, just barely warm, but we didn't want to send anything back and wait any longer. We rented a condo right across the street from Marvis and it was hard to not keep going back!! Food was fresh and tasty, service was exceptional, and the staff were cheerful and friendly. It was very clean inside and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are a little above average but you do get a large quantity of food and it's in a vacation spot so it is acceptable. I had the short stack French toast, which is 2 pieces of Texas toast. Not sure I could have finished the tall stack AND the bacon. The toast themselves were so fluffy and light that it felt like some sort of sorcery was at play in the kitchen. Wife ordered lunch a few times over the week and was happy with her salads and sandwiches as well. If you're near wildwood, Marvis is a must visit IMO! read more

We visited their Pacific Ave location and it has a nice outdoor space that is dog friendly! The outdoors is open seasonally and is covered on top to protect from the sun and bad weather. We had a great time here. All three of us enjoyed our meals and left totally stuffed. So after having a terrible experience for lunch I knew that we had to go someplace good for dinner. It was still slightly rainy so we wanted to drive someplace instead of walk and what was great about here is that they have a relatively large parking lot so that appealed to us right away. It's always nice to go someplace that you know you don't have to find parking and then walk back to the restaurant, especially with a 2-year-old. We were able to get a table right away and we ate inside even though they did have patio seating available. I was able to get a booth which is what I requested since sometimes with a kid being able to trap them in the booth is easier than having a table in the middle of the restaurant. So I was really happy that they were accommodating for that request. My partner once again ordered a steak and potatoes and it came with a side of seasoned vegetables. The steak was utterly delicious. I had a few slices from it and it was so good. Probably the best steak that I've had in a really long time. Cooked to perfection and seasoned just enough that it made your mouth water and crave another bite. I ordered the fried shrimp with the basket of fries and a side soup of lentil soup. I thought that my daughter and I could share the shrimp and fries and then I could eat the soup. But boy was I wrong. My daughter ate all of my soup, she's a weird little 2-year-old that loves lentils and loves soup. And she barely wanted to touch the fries or the shrimp. I ate about half the shrimp and a handful of fries. I took the shrimp home with me and ate the next day. The few bites of the soup that I had were delicious. No wonder my daughter wanted the entire bowl to herself. I would definitely recommend coming here. The food portions were very big so we had leftovers for the next day and everything was delicious. The only suggestion I would say is maybe eat less of your main meal because we didn't even get to look at the dessert menu. And I know that I saw a lot of ice cream desserts on that menu. read more

A friend mentioned that she had the best breakfast in ages, here last summer. So when we were staying in Wildwood last weekend we decided we'd come here for breakfast. So glad we did! There were a lot of people waiting for in line but somehow we got seated right away (how did they know we were VIP? Lol). Actually we were seated outside and were guessing no one waited wanted to be outside. It wasn't even uncomfortably hot so that was good! There were three of us. Had breakfast here during the off season. Very few choices for food especially non weekends. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival. Our friendly waitress arrived immediately asking if we wanted coffee, which was kept filled. We both had eggs and toast. My Sweetie had his with home fries and a side of turkey bacon. The waitress asked if he wanted the potatoes with onions. Well, the potatoes were delish, loads of onions and both full of flavor. I substituted my potatoes with fruit. Have you ever been to a toilet in Wildwood, New Jersey? It doesn't matter if you're visiting a public toilet on the boardwalk, or one in a sit-down restaurant, they're all awful. I know that funnel cakes and corn dogs can wreck havoc on one's digestive tract, and so it shouldn't be a surprise that most boardwalk toilets provoke the sense of sheer horror and revulsion that one only experiences in a war zone, or when watching TLC. Over my five days in Wildwood, I was yet to encounter a toilet that didn't make me feel like I needed a tetanus injection immediately afterwards. That was, until I stepped into the Marvis Diner. This beacon of light. This refuge of cleanliness in a town of turd-encrusted shitters. To the management: allow me to be so bold as to suggest a new tagline for your fine establishment. Nice place, I liked the open air seating. Food was very good. Lots of choices from breakfast to dinner meals. Service was efficient - the waitress wasn't friendly, but she got us served fast and didn't waste time at all. I missed out on ordering a milkshake because she left so quickly after ordering our meals, but after some reflection, I really didn't need the calories. Quick tip - park in back. Disappointed with the breakfast 05/09/25. I had a ham cheese omelete with hash browns and white toast. The hash browns tasted no better than a greasy spoon place and the omelete had that dirty grille taste. The white toast was barely toasted so it was soggy not more than 5 minutes after pickup. And this was 7:30am only a 1/2 hr. after opening at 7am. Stomach upset and threw out half the meal.
