We were 8 people and we went on a saturday morning it was packed. We got seated in 2 different tables since there wasnt much space. Our server was super nice and so was the hostess. I ordered the skillet and pineapple juice. Also I burned my finger I was about to take my first bite and as soon as i lifted my hand my ring finger touched the skillet and the food on the fork got flung out to the wall so BE CAREFUL when you order the skillet. This is a great small spot. We went for breakfast they have all the standards. It's not a fancy spot but a solid breakfast option. We had basic eggs and meat breakfast with toast , coffee and subbed the home fries for tator tots. I opted for a lunch option having a burger which was cooked well as I requested. There was no wait when we went at 11 however I have seen lines of people waiting outside especially during the summer months. Awesome breakfast joint in the Villas. Even though we arrived on a busy Saturday morning with several parties ahead of us; the wait to get seated was less than a few minutes. We were quickly seated and waited on pretty attentively. As for the food, the specials are definitely the way to go. You get so much bang for your buck when getting them. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the amount of food you get. And the food is very delicious I'll add. I really like their pancakes, they're thick, fluffy, and cooked perfectly. I had high hopes, given the previous reviews. The place has local charm and the people are sweet, however the food was not good. The bacon was hard and cold and seemed to be pre-cooked, sitting on the griddle, the eggs weren't exactly scrambled, they were served like a flat pancake, and the pancakes were average, not with the crispy edges. There were six in our party, 2 adults, 3 teens, and a 5 yo. We ordered crepes, 1 strawberry & 1 Nutella, Belgium [sic] waffle, eggs as below, avocado toast, kids French toast with bacon. We will start with presentation: I had two eggs over medium, home Fries and rye toast. The toast was served in a bread basket hot! Real butter on the side. The eggs cooked to a perfect medium and hot. Home fries were fresh, not greasy, and seasoned perfectly (paprika, black pepper, salt and a hint of onion powder). The crepes were perfect with fresh strawberries and the Nutella crepe had plenty of fresh bananas and chocolate drizzle. It really could be dessert! The coffee- pretty good for a diner. Light roast and brew, fresh and not bitter. (I often skip coffee at Diner's, but this was a 2-cup morning). The waffle was crisp on the outside and soft in the center, the French toast grilled perfectly and the bacon crisp! Both dusted with powdered sugar. Service- It was busy, and they quickly accommodated us at the counter (seats six). The waitresses were friendly, and efficient. Pricing was reasonable $7.99 for the egg platter above, other items also under $10. In summary: great food, friendly, efficient staff and a family-oriented atmosphere. read more

First time a two star review. Sat at counter on a busy Sunday morning, okay I expected a wait. I did NOT expect to be totally ignored. Got menu on my own, a waitress did give me coffee then left. Then the wait , a long wait would not be minded except being right in front of 5 servers making NO eye contact, no smiles of greeting from ANY ONE ! Been there frequently at a table but never at the bar. It was so disappointing. Finally after 15 mins with no acknowledgement I left. Oh lots of please wait when we were leaving.
