It's amazing what a server can do. Our server was amazing. We ordered the chicken parm, eggplant parm and eggplant tower. It was all amazing. I can't wait to go back read more

Absolutely fantastic time. Liz our waitress was pleasant and attentive, helped my wife pick out her meal when she couldn't decide. Our drinks were a rum bucket that came with 2 straws, my wife wouldn't share it tasted so good. I got my Lager. I started out with a crock of French onion soup for me. Very good. My wife chose the roast beef sandwich with fries. Very tasty and delicious. I got the shrimp tacos and onion rings. Very yummy and just right. We watched the Phillies on the giant tv above the bar on the roof top from our table. Great atmosphere and beautiful view of the sunset as we finished our meal. We will definitely be coming back again. read more

Great bar with an awesome breakfast on weekends. Quality food, service, and extremely reasonable prices. Available on Uber Eats. Pro tip - you need cash for drinks but you can pay for food with a card. Bernie is a great bartender!! read more

I understand that customers in the store are probably the priority but I wouldn't have placed a delivery order if I knew it was going to take THREE hours and it was not the drivers fault (I could track it) The amount of veggies was probably less than a cup. It was also delivered HOT from the chicken and poor choice of container. That didn't bother me that much but I know hot lettuce grosses out a lot of people. The chicken cutlet was decent though read more

We walked in yesterday after a long day at my craft fair it was only about 3:30 and the bar was packed and mostly standing room. Never being there before we stood at the hostess desk waiting for seats in the restaurant. While we waited there was a table of 4 and a table with one man. No one ever came to seat us while we store for about 10 minutes. As we looked around the bar area was having a ball and the table of 4 seemed happy but that one man sitting there alone looked left to fend for himself. After almost 15 minutes of no one coming to sit us we left. And no one cares. Sorry we won't be back. read more

Bumping up another star based on our experience last night. As always the Waterfront has good service and great views if you can snag a table on the roof deck. We visited with a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. They added pizza to the menu this year and as skeptical as I was I decided to try it, as did 2 others in my party. I have to say I was impressed. The pizza was served in a pan and had a thin, crispy crust with a slightly sweet tomato sauce. I ordered the "Roni" which was generously topped with pepperoni, long hot peppers, and hot honey. I thoroughly enjoyed it and only finished half because the size was bigger than expected (2 can share). Oh well, leftovers for me...yay! I also have to give kudos to the French onion soup which was the best I've had on the island yet (another surprise). read more

Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Wish there was more of a dance floor though.

It's a bit loud but so much fun you forget because you have become one of the noise makers. Food is very good, I recommend the chicken wings and getting the onion rings as a side. Also, nice beer selection. Give it a try, you will be surprised. read more

Likely the last time we'll come for breakfast. Prices are reasonable and food is just fine. Service is consistently slow at breakfast, assume they're short staffed, it's been like this the past few years. Hostess is running drinks, you wait 5-10 minutes standing at the door before she notices you need a table. Waitresses are slow to get to tables, be ready to order when they stop by, they'll check in once after food arrives. Don't expect a refill. It's your responsibility to flag someone down to get a check. Basic breakfast with one coffee takes over an hour, most of which is waiting with nothing in front of you. It's not worth the time commitment for a basic mediocre meal. Skip breakfast and grab a drink upstairs in the evening when the weather is nice. read more

Myself and some coworkers have been frequenting this spot for lunch regularly. This place is pretty solid. It's a very well kept restaurant/bar with plenty of seating and really good food. I've tried quite a lot of items on their menu at this point. To date, everything I've ordered has been really good and nothing has disappointed me yet. I think my favorites are the "Surf and Turf Burger" and the "Pineapple Grilled Chicken Sandwich". The Surf and Turf Burger has a deep fried shrimp in the patty with coleslaw and sauce. Everything about it was cooked perfectly. The Pineapple Grilled Chicken Sandwich has this amazing sauce that goes really well with the chicken. Only thing to keep in mind is that they are cash only. That's the only criticism I have of the establishment. Luckily their prices are pretty competitive, especially considering the area and the competition. This is a great lunch spot, we are always in and out within our lunch hour. So I have absolutely no other complaints other than being cash-only and would highly recommend checking it out. read more

Absolutely awful. Just left there with a family of 6....sat down and waited 20 min just for drinks and a waitress....40 min for the food...forgot the appetizer.....(we had to ask TWICE) ....We didn't our dinner rolls until we all finished our meals and had to ask.....when they were finally brought to us...we got 3 rolls at 1 end of the table for 6 freaking people. Food was cold, we all left very very unhappy. I would definitely NOT GO there again. AT ALL. We literally spent 3 1/2 hrs in that place smh read more

Usually we have a great experience here, not tonight. Unfortunately the service was really bad. I understand we were a table of 8 and things may take longer, but an hour from when we sat till when our appetizers arrived is a little much. And when they came, we still didnt have silverware. It was an hour and half before our entrees ever arrived. We watched as other tables were seated, ate, and left before our food arrived. Dont get me wrong the food is delicious. But tonight either the server was bad or the cooks. read more

Unfortunately, I was not happy with my service here. There was no hostess ready when we got there, waited for a good hour for our food, only for the waitress to tell us that it'll be ready in "5-10 minutes" once we asked. We ended up leaving. I understand that they may have been short-staffed but I don't condemn to this type of customer service. read more

An okay, fairly buttoned-up but unremarkable bar and eatery with a view of water, but definitely not situated on the water - it's across the street. Anyway, there's an open spacious area when you walk in, with a super large rectangular bar front and center with a bunch of high tops scattered around, and a separate dining room with lower tables to the side. Pretty standard layout and pub menu, heavy on the burgers and wraps and nachos. The room is decently lit with a bunch of TVs scattered around, but nothing exceptional and not dive-y. The real party is upstairs where there's more outside seating, an open bar with a tropical vibe, and a much better view of the water channel across the street. A much more vibrant atmosphere up there if that's what you're after. read more

CASH BAR ONLY!!!!! HIGHLY IMPORTANT!!! Honestly, I like this place! It's a very laid back vibe on the inside at a large bar and plenty of seating all around. The food was all very good, it did take way too long to come out tho, definitely order the soup if you are worried about that. The crab bisque was yummy. I'd like to try the second level and live music next time; or order takeout if it's a good beach day. Another perk is they offer daily specials for lunch and dinner. Keeps it exciting read more

This restaurant has a waterfront but it's not along the coast. There's a canal across the street that makes it waterfront. We opted to sit inside with the air conditioning as opposed to outside where it was awfully windy and humid. The tv in the dining room had a loop of the beautiful food that they serve. We had a chicken tender appetizer, which was pretty basic frozen )but actually quite yummy. For dinner, I chose the fresh flounder, served with chunky mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. My husband got the French onion burger, which he devoured. Our food too an awfully long time but it seems they had a ton of take out food to make before ours. They do have happy hour specials Monday- Thursday read more

You can definitely improve how you cook a medium burger, mine was a hockey puck, inedible! Also the TV's should be on Sports always. Propaganda FOX NEWS should never be on, and it was on 2 TV's! I like the politics of a restaurant I eat at to be a mystery! If it's not, I don't go there. Last time I was here, two couples were having a loud conversation, across the bar, about how great they think trump is, the problem was the bartender (male) was all about it! We had to hear his political opinions as well! Then, just recently, the whole FOX NEWS on the TV's issue. Needless to say, I'm done! Plenty of places without the nonsense! If you can't respect that people have different political views, especially these days, that just means you're disrespectful! Hard Pass! read more

We were greeted by staff that was not at all educated on ADA compliance for service animals, and that made for an awkward and tense experience straight off the bat. Waitress had no idea about bar offerings and after trying to get answers to basic questions without success, we gave up completely on ordering alcohol. Food was good, and decent prices, but the rest of the experience overshadowed that. Won't be returning. read more

One of our go to places. Nothing fancy just food and fun. Live entertainment can't beat it. Roof top deck has a great view.

Excellent food and cocktails. Must do their specials and happy hours! Don't miss breakfast with Bernie on the weekends

I did not really get to experience the waterfront. We intended to go there on a Sunday afternoon to have adult beverages at their roof top bar. Unfortunately the roof top was closed? It had rained earlier in the day, but at 3pm it was very sunny and warm. Just viewing the downstairs large square bar, you could tell this is a true locals joint. My recommendation would be to call ahead. Obviously, management does not check the weather forecast and lets staff go home and then has to turn away. read more

I attended a surprise birthday party at the Waterefront on the upper deck on Friday June27th! The service was exceptionally accommodating, I mean at 5 star couldn't have been better! Zack with a K and Maura( not sure of her spelling) were awesome. As they further their educations I am sure their personalities, and work ethics skills will be an asset in their future endeavors! Also I didn't get to chat with the bartender but his Cosmos were the perfect shade of pink. read more

Staff was great.. food was horrible.. place was empty, that should of given it away ,

This place is amazing! Has to be one of the best restaurants on this beautiful island of Wildwood. The deck has amazing atmosphere and the great weather in Wildwood adds to the experience. Great view of a bay. The service was great. The food took a while but was definitely worth the wait, the french onion soup, in specific, was some of the best I've ever had. The price was pretty fair. Been here many times and usually a good experience. Food is always decent for the price and the drafts are super cold. The eggplant stacker was delicious. Chicken florentine was good but could of had some more chicken. Fries were awful which is a difficult thing to do. The problem on Friday night was the dj. He was playing good music but it was so loud you couldn't hear. Like ear bleeding loud. A few tables around us even left because of the volume. Music is supposed to enhance the experience not ruin it. Probably would have stayed for a few more drinks but couldn't tolerate the sound. I know not to go on Friday in the future. read more

From the folks who bought you Owens in North Wildwood, comes the Waterfront, a bar/restaurant in the heart of Wildwood City. It's got everything you love about Owens and some of the things you hate. Let's review. The good: great sunset views of the bay. Pub style food. Recommend the flatbread, steamers, the Reuben Egg rolls, and the wings. The prices are great. Just like Owens, you wonder if they put the decimal in the wrong spot. So cheap. Villas prices in Wildwood. Service was outstanding. Bridget kept apologizing for not being on her "A game"; I'm not sure why, she was fantastic. The bad: just like Owens, the bar is full of locals complaining about how much they hate the summer crowds. Just like Owens, it's cash only (it's 2021 guys, not asking you to take Bitcoin, but WTF?). The weird: random elevator. Your customers find it hard to walk up one flight of steps? There are 4 tables upstairs. Who is the elevator for? I'll be back. Maybe I'll even take the elevator. read more

The Chicken Parmesan was really dry and chewy-I don't think I've ever had a bad piece of Chicken parm before today. Ordered a side of crab imperial -as soon as I opened the container all I could smell is starch-dry as well. Onion rings tasted like they were fried in old oil-side salad was a joke and they sent no utensils or napkins. I was very disappointed for $60-i can't say anything positive read more

To sum it up in three words: What a shithole. The best way to describe our waitress is that she didn't give a shit. She was nasty and rude. When asked to repeat the specials, she said, "I'm not going to repeat myself!" She even admitted that she didn't want to be there. The food came out in dribs and drabs - in no particular order. For one, the wrong soup was brought out. Instead of replacing it with the soup that was ordered, she removed it from the check without saying anything until I asked her what happened to it! As far as the food goes, don't expect much and you might be able to eat it. You can get a much better meal at any diner in the Wildwoods. But if you like eating garbage, this is the place for you. Oh, and the drinks? Crap as well. My old fashioned was made with God knows what. I asked for Old Forester, but they were out of it. The drink looked like it was made with dirty dishwater. I was charged on the bill for Old Forester's! Do yourselves a favor. Go somewhere else. read more

Came here as family of 10. Waitress service was good. One thing that is weird is it's called The Waterfront but it's not on the water. The food was just ok to me. I got the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was hard and couldn't be eaten in the taco so I ate it out of the tortilla with a fork, the sauce was good though. The shrimp is the same as the dynamite shrimp just different sauce. My son and I shared both the Jersey crab and bisque- we liked the bisque better but both were pretty good. Other people in our group had a cheesesteak, a Rueben, a cheeseburger, kids grilled cheese, kids chicken fingers, cheesesteak egg rolls, steamers, dynamite shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp cocktail and everyone felt it was pretty good. The prices were great. For a family of ten our bill came to around $240-$250. read more
