One thing I love about coming to the East Coast is getting pizza, chili, cheesesteaks, and subs and I was able to knock out two out of three with this restaurant. Delaware is hometown to me, but I've always went to one of my favorite places since a child so I decided to try a new place and let me just say I was impressed. They gave me exactly what a home visit needed comfort food. The online ordering system was fast and upon pick up it was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and I had no concerns about issues with my food. Normally, I'm really good about taking pictures before I eat, but I was so excited to try it. I unfortunately did not get any. We opted for a pepperoni pizza, a Philly cheesesteak, and french fries and it was amazing. Ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza. Took about 20 minutes to cook. Not a whole lot on the menu other than pizzas. There are soft drinks, teas, and desserts in a refrigerated section, but don't expect cannolis or tiarmasus. There is some parking on the street in front. If you are in a wheelchair, getting in will be difficult as there are only steps and another step to get to the counter. There is an area to sit at a half dozen or so tables and a couple of chairs near the counter to wait for takeout. read more

I haven't eaten here in years. Today we ordered food and had it delivered. My issue is with the fries. Two large orders of fries unable to be eaten because they were STALE. Not just cold, but stale! The food did not take all that long to get here so there is no excuse whatsoever for OLD, CHEWY fries. Highly disappointed. It's like restaurants give customers their old, dried out food when it's being delivered to use the excuse of "well it got cold while being delivered." I dont mind cold. I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, it missed every mark. I'm a recent transplant from Philadelphia and have been on the hunt for a weeknight pizza place...I've eaten quite a bit of bad pizza in the Dover area. I have no idea how Simaron's pizza tastes because it was so overcooked that it was dry like a cracker...hence it went into the trash. I tried this place because I walked by the breakroom at work and was greeted by the aroma of a good cheesesteak. When I popped my head in, I was shocked that it actually looked like a Philly Cheesesteak and was bursting with meat. I decided I'd grab a pizza and a stomboli for dinner (I have no intention of trying a cheesesteak down here). I placed my order, was told 20 minutes, arrived in 10 with the expectation of waiting 10-15 minutes. I was greeted by a faint scent of garbage but I didn't let that deter me; I approached the counter, provided my name, and was told "I'm going to need a few more minutes" I said no problem and stood there thinking I would get the payment out of the way. I think he was annoyed; however, he reluctantly processed my payment. After 20 minutes, I checked in at the counter and it seemed that the items hadn't been started. At this point, I was annoyed, but looking forward to these tasty treats. 15 minutes later, I approached the counter again and he took the 'boli out of the oven (it looked pale) but he boxed it up...I went on my way and was STUNNED when I got home and saw the dried out pizza. I called and informed him, he offered to make another, but it wasn't worth the 15 minute drive. The stromboli was bursting with meat but the dough was undercooked; that was easily corrected in the air fryer. It was topped with something very similar to the topping for Pizza Hut breadsticks...it gave an odd flavor to the stromboli, so we dusted it off. Obviously I won't be returning. read more

The three people behind the counter seemed to be getting along very well as they cranked out a lot of food at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning in January in Dover. The other half of this Cheesesteak was hard to give away but the person I gave it to was very excited to have it so that eased my pain, a little. Great overall experience. When you walk in it's a small quaint place. Pictures on the wall a couple tables to sit and talk. I ordered a large cheese steak with mushrooms. Nothing else on the cheese steak. Ordered fries and a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium with a blt as well. First we'll start with the blt. Blt good bread toasted only a couple 2 at most pieces of bacon. Nice lettuce and a fair size of tomato. Decent blt sandwich over all 6/10. Bacon cheeseburger. Ordered and sad to say didn't have anything on the sandwich no lettuce tomato seasoning just ok. The cook was really good came out medium and did have a decent flavor (salt, pepper etc...). Overall 7/10. Now to the cheese steak. Ordered a large and it came out very well. Great cook on steak and mushrooms were distinct too. Had very good seasoning on steak and a decent amount of cheese. Bread was soft. Great cheese steak for the price. 8/10. Ordered chicken salad on top of a salad. Drove over 20 miles back home and went to eat it and NO chicken salad. The salad was all iceberg lettuce with a few cucumbers, nasty underripe tomatoes, and a few slices of pepper. My husband called and told them and was told to bring it back, no thank you considering it is over 20 mi there and over 20 mi back.
