My husband and I stopped into First Watch for breakfast while visiting family nearby. We'd never been before but heard great things, so we were pretty excited to try it. Even though it looked busy, we were seated right away at the bar, which was nice. We kicked things off with mimosas. They give you a little bottle of champagne and a cup of OJ so you can mix it yourself. I ordered the Double Bacon Parmesan Hash from the seasonal menu. It had bacon, onions, spinach, mozzarella, potato hash, eggs, Parmesan cream, arugula, shaved Parmesan... basically everything delicious in one bowl. It really was so good, just a little oversalted for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. My husband got the cinnamon chip pancakes. They brought him two huge pancakes and he immediately realized he only needed one because they're BIG! He also mentioned his bacon was cooked perfectly: crispy without being burnt. Overall, we had a great first visit. The whole menu looked amazing and there were a few things I was torn between, so I'd definitely come back to try more. read more

We had a party of 5 and had reservations for brunch. We were met right away and had a short wait for a nice window booth. Our server was great. Very friendly and happy to answer and questions and make modifications to the orders as needed. The food was all good. Large portions and well made. It was clear that this place cares about its ingredients and presentation. I got the egg white and chicken wrap. Very healthy and filling. Everyone enjoyed their meal. They also have mimosas here. Popped in during the week when I was in the area. No wait and got a cute little table on the wall. My only reason for 4 stars is that the gluten free items take so much work to find online. They don't have a menu where everything is labeled. I had to cross check the online allergen list and then list what I wanted in a note on my phone. This is part of a juice review. We've been to several First Watch locations, and the most recent was here. We ordered the morning, meditation juice, and it was delicious! Brightly colored, fresh and a little sweet, but just the right amount of tart! Will definitely order it again! The restaurant was clean and very busy, we had half hour wait, even though we arrived after the breakfast rush. Several tables were available, but I guess they were short on staff? My wife and I ate here for the first time since it opened. Had about a 20 minute wait. On January 11th when we went the kitchen seemed to be a mess. They deleted the order for the couple that was seated way before we got there. I ordered the turkey sausage and gravy. Could have used more gravy on top of the biscuits. The egg and potatoes we cooked to my liking. My wife ordered the trifecta with French toast and side of million dollar bacon (nothing special). She had to wait for the waiter to bring the fruit that was supposed to be on her French toast that the kitchen forgot and they shorted her a piece of bacon. Great food! We had been wanting to try this place for sometime now, the line is always long. We finally waited in line today for about 30 min to be seated. The place is a good size cafe, clean and modern. The waitress was very friendly. We had the three dishes in the photo, the price is very reasonable and food was awesome! I met friends here for brunch and had a delightful experience. It was crowded, but we were seated in 10 minutes. The service was quick and pleasant. The coffee was the best I have had outside my own kitchen. I had a BLT and tomato soup, my friends ranged from a potato dish, to waffles to another type of sandwich. All of them were pleased. We dined at your Dover location on Sunday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, particularly concerning food allergy handling. Our server did not write down our drink order, and the drinks arrived incorrectly. We ordered the lemon blueberry cornbread as an appetizer and had to remind the server mid-meal because it never came. More concerning, we notified staff of a food allergy, yet the meal was delivered with eggs on the plate. One child was left without safe food to eat until we suggested a substitute side. My husband also ordered a side of salmon that never arrived. Additionally, we were told the oatmeal came with a blueberry muffin. After not receiving it and asking, we were informed that it does not come with a muffin, but we could purchase a chocolate chip muffin instead -- which was not an option due to the allergy. Had we known the correct information, we would have ordered differently. This experience was frustrating, but more importantly, the allergy oversight was concerning. We hope this feedback is taken seriously so another family does not experience the same issue. read more

We get to the restaurant and they tell us it's going to be a 45 min to an hour wait. Which is fine. Give them my number and said they will text us when the table is ready. We leave and come back within 30-35 mins and have a seat to wait. We see a couple come in, and they get a seat within a minute. We never get a text and I made sure the number was correct. I proceed to go up and tell them they skipped us. We finally get a seat and have to wait 10-15 mins til our server finally comes over. The food was slightly warm as well. This was my second time coming. The first time we sat next to people in the waiting area and they expressed they had gotten skipped too. Overall the food is decent, but they really need to work on their service. I understand they're popular and busy, but still. It's been months, the kinks should be worked out already read more

Went for the first time today. Signed up when they came to Dover received an email for my Birthday so let's give it a try. When I checked in it was a 45 min wait and we were #25 by the time we got to the restaurant we were # 12 ( takes about 20 minutes drive) It was definitely crowded long lines packed house. I did not have high hopes BUT let me tell you AT LEAST TRY IT ONCE !!! The food was AMAZING The Staff was top notch !!! The hostess was very nice big smile if she was overwhelmed you would never know it!! Our waitress Nikki was fantastic. Very patient with us as it was our first time. Took great care of us. Didn't come over so much as to be a bother, never came over to ask if things were good in the mits of a mouth full of food she definitely has it down !!!! Would definitely recommend!!! My hope is that they stay this good for time to come a lot of places are here do good then go down hill I have high hopes. read more

Fantastic experience! My wait time for a table was less than 10 minutes & my wait for food was approximately 15 minutes. Impressive for being so busy. My order was a Purple Haze drink, Smoked Salmon and Roasted Vegetable Frittata with dressed greens and cheesy grits. The food was delivered hot and impressively presented. Savored each bite. Tasty. Not something you'd want to rush through. If I have one criticism is the grits could have been cheesier. The facility itself is large and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We came last week for lunch (right before closing) and we were seated right away. The lunch was delicious. Today, we checked in and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. We waited almost an hour, as someone was seated before us, who was to be seated after. Then we waited almost 15 minutes before a waiter came to get our orders.
