Servers should be made to wear hairnets. I took my daughter in law there for coffee. We had a nice coffee however the servers were milling around as if they were lost. There was no sugar out on the tables or napkins. We had to repeatedly ask for utensils as if we were going to eat with our hands. I purchased 4 beautiful individual cheese cakes with strawberries on them. Imagine my disappointment when they found hair in the desserts. Sadly no one could bring themselves to eat the dessert.

Such a cute spot. Asked the hostess for a seat outside and enjoyed the screened in porch. I was told to order at one of the two bars, but I just ordered using the QR code and made my order came pretty quick. Seasonal coffee included the sweet pumpkin pie cold brew and then I got the breakfast croissant but subbed for the country house bread and it was hot and delicious. Highly recommend!

The Station on Kings is one of my favorite stops after a day at the cape. All things carefully procured, the Station offers pantry goods, fresh daily baked bread and pastries, cafes and teas of various blends, and even fun items for your kitchen ware and home coffee bar. Onsite is a full cafe serving full menu of seasonal creations. Adjoining is a beautiful garden be sure to check out the greenhouse for indoor plants and the shed for pottery needs. Parking is very limited, please caution when entering and leaving the property. There is one way in and one way out. Plan ahead and check for surrounding parking options especially the weekend.

Stopped here for brunch and so glad we did. It was my first visit but won't be my last. We got a seat outside and were able to bring our dog who loved watching the people come and go. It has a great outside dining area and quite a few tables. It was a Friday and very busy but we got a table right away. Lots of flowers and plans so good ambience. We tried to order our food by scanning the QR code but when we pulled up the menu it was missing some items so we had to go inside to order our food. We got the French Omelette, Crab Avocado Toast and the hummus board. All were delicious and a decent size. There is self serve water outside but it was empty so I waved down a nice young man who filled up right away and made sure I was aware he did it so that was nice. We got some sweets to go, a croissant, some cupcakes, and a lemon poppyseed cookie. Everything was so good. There are lots of options to choose from the menu and the bakery so you could try something different each time. I loved this place and will come back again, but might wait until after September when the crowds have died down a bit.

Doesn't matter the season I love this place. Late spring-summer yes, even the locals will wait forever to eat and get drinks. Lucky to live here because that means enjoying it even in the off season. I haven't explored the nursery yet but it's next on my list. It's also been super busy every time we've gone so have yet to shop. Will update when I do both next week!

    Nice decor.

Great little place with something for everyone. They have excellent bread and pastries. I also got a delicious slice of pizza here. They have a prepared food section where you can grab and go. If you need some Christmas decorations or need a tree or garland for your door, just go outside to their live display. They have space for inside dining. Great stop during holiday season.

Amazing! Fantastic! Delicious! Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and was thrilled to be able to get a table indoors right away. Three of us dined and everything we got was great. We got the Beet Salad, white chicken chili, butternut squash soup, and ricotta toast... and I wish I could eat all of that every day! They get busy, so be patient while you wait - and be mindful of how long you keep your table... but definitely worth it to visit. Prices are a little high - so be prepared for that, but it is in a beach town (and if I didn't mention... it's delicious!)

Finally got back down to Lewes. It was a super rainy day but had to stop for coffee. It wasn't too busy and the coffee is always good! Unless you ask for a table and wait there's no where to just sit and drink your coffee which was a bummer for how rainy it was but still worth the stop!

BLUF: Quality coffee, fancy baked goods, a quant cafe, neat architecture and friendly employees - what's not to love? I love The Station on Kings. While you can have the hostess sit you for a cafe meal in the atrium I have only visited fr their quality coffee and decadent pastries. Oh, I also like wondering around and looking at the gift items. I am just a black coffee drinker so I appreciate that they have good coffee. I also adore the beautiful display of baked goods and of course their taste. Today's favorites were the Elevated Ho Ho, a decadent brownie and a chewy, spicy ginger cookie. Delish. Even at the end of the work day, jut before closing time, the employees were all very chipper and friendly which I appreciated.

I'm amused at some of the negative reviews of The Station on Kings, as the main complaints reference a combination of the prices being overly high relative to the food quality/quantity or that this place caters more to tourists than locals. All valid points, but keep in mind that the Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey Beach areas are extremely touristy which contributes millions of dollars into the their respective economies. I dunno...I think Station on Kings is a good place. My only "complaint" is that perhaps it's trying to be too many things. Upon walking in, you would be forgiven if you thought this was another Delaware beach town gift shop, as there are mugs, candles, clothing, and other beachy type paraphenalia for sale. You might also think this place is a high-end boutique grocery with refrigerated cases selling cheeses, deli meats, and beverages. You might also think this is a road side cafe with an enclosed dining space serving coffee/tea, sandwiches, and other light bites. All of these descriptors of Station on Kings would be correct. During my recent stay, I popped in to get some pastries for breakfast as I was told by locals that The Station on Kings bake all of the items on premise. I purchased a variety of croissants, donuts, muffins, and a loaf of bread. I already knew that these items would not be "cheap," with most of the items ranging in the $5-$7 and the bread running about $12. So was the $75 I spent worth it? I'd say generally "yes." The almond croissant had a generous spread of marzipan and nicely toasted almond slivers with a dusting of confectioners sugar. The plain croissants were flaky and airy with a buttery smooth flavor. Donuts are donuts...which is to say, they were fine and honestly, not really worth $5/piece. The loaf of artisnal bread was fantastic and made for excellent sandwiches over three days. There is also a coffee bar which I did not partake of, since the Airbnb had one of those fancy Nespresso machines. But I did observe lots of folks walking over to get their caffeine fix after paying for their pastries. Here's the deal...if you're coming to a beach town or any tourist spot, expect to pay a bit higher for items. And TBH, the prices for the items at Station on Kings are very comparable to what I'd pay in the DC area. And for freshly baked goods, I generally think you're getting decent value for the money. Just stay away from the overpriced tchotchkes and you'll be fine.

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing menu for breakfast and lunch. Be mindful it does get crowded early especially on the weekends but it's worth the wait. The pastries are not only aesthetically pleasing but delicious. I also ordered their chai latte and it was tasty and spicy how I like it

Worth the hype! I came for my first visit in the spring and absolutely fell in love. This is the kind of brunch spot that people seek out with good reason. The flavors in each dish were well thought out and executed beautifully. The inside space was also such a treat to shop around before and after eating. If you're thinking about visiting, do it! I'll definitely be returning.

Definitely not the place you'll get the most bang for your buck. That being said, staff are (overall) pretty friendly. This place is somewhat dog friendly but obviously don't be rude and leave your doggie bags when you depart. The artwork is always changing and the aesthetic is great. It's like walking through a catalogue! Tons of wonderful seasonal items too- Christmas trees and wreaths in the winter and a fun plant selection in the spring. A must-stop when you're driving through, staying or in the area. Grab a coffee/pastry too while you're at it

To me visiting The Brush Factory on Kings is more like an experience or treasure hunt than shopping given its sprawling layout and variety of vendors and merchandise. I enjoyed meandering through the space weaving from room to room and ducking into various stalls and booths. Here are some of the items I admired on my initial visit to give readers and idea of all this retail space has to offer: - Seasonal items like pumpkins and gourds and Christmas ornaments - A wide variety of succulents - Fresh local produce and flowers - Vintage items like scales and typewriters perfect for decorating - Jewelry, soaps, candles, lotions and other items great for gift giving - Local tshirts and cozy sweaters - Antique furniture and crafty painted furniture - Architecture salvage like corbels and windows - Nautical pieces like paintings, buoys and oars - A cool line of Fusion mineral paints for DIY projects - Plenty of locally owned items The wide variety of items is credited to the various merchants and artists who sell there wares and art at The Brush Factory on Kings. I'd estimate that there are at least 50 sellers represented here. Along with the variety of items there is a variety of price points. Overall, this is a great place and I wish I loved closer. I also wish I had taken more pictures to help spread the word about this unique and mesmerizing small, local business.

I was met by the rudest sales person I have ever dealt with. I explained the situation and was told all sales are final. Lexi went on to lie and say she told me at checkout what I was purchasing stating it is their policy to do so. There were 2 of us checking out, my daughter in law and I both heard Lexi say "These are standard size pillow cases, are you aware of that?" To which we both replied yes. She never mentioned the duvet, had she done so we would have realized the error immediately. The duvet was in the bin labeled Queen size SHEETS. It was an honest mistake. I was not asking for a refund, just a simple exchange. I have been buying S&L since 2009 but am sad to say they lost a good customer. Will never shop at any Serena and Lily store/outlet/online again.
