This is a comfortable, friendly spot to have a nice breakfast or lunch. The service is excellent as is the food. When you walk down Market Street from 2nd Street you must turn around to see the store.

Very cute place to stop. Had a long menu of different drinks and food. I got a matcha boba tea with almond milk and strawberry boba and it was delicious. The service was fast even tho they were busy. The inside is alittle small but definitely worth it. They do have seating outside so it isn't as crowded inside. Will definitely stop again.

I love this cozy little coffee spot! I came here twice during my stay in Lewes because the coffee is so good! I ordered my usual iced cappuccino which I love that they're able to make, not all places will accommodate. This is the best coffee in town!

Picture perfect breakfast nook that packs a punch with a tasty menu of breakfast fare and beverages. I was pleasantly surprised by both the menu range and seating offered by this petite place. The customizable breakfast sandwich is top notch: your choice of bread and cheese, and there's also meat options to add to eggs. The coffee is also excellent, and there is a small selection of bakery pastries. If you don't take your food to go, there are a few small tables inside and a bench outside, plus a small park gazebo surrounded by flowers across the parking lot. The line can build quickly but the staff are efficient and we didn't wait too long on either of our visits.

Super cozy spot for coffee, bfast or lunch. Inside was very clean and farmhouse feel. The menu had a nice variety of high end and quality ingredients. I tried the smoothie and it was pretty good. I'd like return to try their salads.

Came here for lunch before heading to Cape Henlopen :) due to Covid 19 we could only do take out. The inside looked very nice and cute! I got the salmon BLT and a frozen lavender lemonade. The salmon BLT was delicious. Plenty of smoked salmon and fresh veggies. I wish there was a little more garlic aioli on the sandwich but it was still pretty good! The frozen lavender lemonade was refreshing and tart. It went well with my sandwich :) loved it! I would def. Come back next time I'm Lewes for lunch!

Delicious food, friendly service, short wait time - the only difficulty is what to choose! I highly recommend the baked oatmeal w/ berries & steamed milk as well as the egg, Gruyère, & ham sandwich. Thanks for having gluten free bread guys!

As a Shakshuka lover who has spent time in Israel I am quite picky about my Shakshuka but I can confidently say I was pleasantly surprised by this one and enjoyed every bite! The beef soup was a bit bland unfortunately but the salmon toast has copious amounts of salmon and was delicious. The maple veggies were also wonderful. The pistachio honey latte was perfectly balanced not being overly sweet. Service was nothing to note as you seat yourself and get your own food here but staff was nice. Ambiance was alright, we had to sit out in the patio area which while heated was a less than desirable location to eat but it wasn't bad. Overall we truly enjoyed our time at The Station and will be back without a doubt.

First disappointment(s) 1 hour into HH and they did not have a few of the HH menu items - boneless wings and cheese steak egg rolls. I hope the wings were really out because the daily special was offering wings for $1 each and these were pushed. The diet soda that was served was pretty flat and had a strange flavor and was definitely an off brand. The chowder was creamy but had a very sweet flavor to it not much of other flavors. Could be canned or frozen? Double Burger was cooked well and served with a bag of Cape Cod chips. Had to ask for pickles as did several other diners. It was bland as well, was not seasoned. We also had tater tots that were served on a pool of ? ?? The French fries that my dining companion opted for with her burger were grease soaked and were an undisclosed up charge of $2! It was a beautiful day out and we wanted something on the water as well with outdoor dining. This was our first time here and the atmosphere and outdoor dining was wonderful. The food was such a disappointment. The Happy Hour menu for food included: Loaded Tater Tots ($7), Traditional or Boneless Wings ($11), Cheesesteak Eggrolls ($9), Smash Burger ($10), New England Clam Chowder ($8) and Oyster of the Day (1/2 dz $10; dz $18). Happy hour beverages included $2 off draft beer, Rail Mixed Drinks ($6), Crushes ($9), House Wines ($6), and Canned Domestic ($4) - Miller Lite, Coors Lite, Natty BOH, and Michelob Ultra. They also had Weekly Specials (Sunday) which included Traditional Wings ($1 each) and $10 Grain Burger along with some others, you can see in the attached photo. We arrived at 5 pm and the Happy Hour Menu is from 4-6pm so we were only an hour into the Happy Hour. They were out of the "Traditional or Boneless wings ($11) but said we could order the Sunday weekly specials of traditional wings at $1 each. They were out of the Cheesesteak Eggrolls as well. I elected to have the Loaded Tater Tots from the Happy Hour menu and the Smash Burger which came with chips and the server asked if I would like to substitute the chips with fries which I agreed. The Loaded Tater Tots were cheese sauce, bacon, scallions and sour cream. They were greasy and the cheese sauce, I don't know. I couldn't even tell you what type of cheese it was. Maybe cheddar, but I'm really not sure. There were just a few pieces of bacon on it and loaded with sour cream. Not very good. The smash burger was 2 4oz beef patties with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion on a potato roll. No pickles. Who serves a burger with no pickles on it or on the side? We did request pickles and they were given. There was no offer of any ketchup or it being on the table. I asked for BBQ sauce and received that when I had a bite left of the burger. However, the BBQ sauce was very tasty. The "cheddar cheese" was a mix of cheddar and mozzarella or something and it was shredded cheese not a slice or anything. Guess they were running out of cheese and had to improvise. There was a huge chunk end piece of lettuce that should not have been on the burger, and the tomatoes were chopped not sliced. Who puts chopped tomatoes on a burger? After having this AMAZING burger in Virginia Beach a week ago at The Atlantic on Pacific for $6 on their Happy Hour menu, this was "ok". I accepted the substitute of fries with the Smash Burger over the chips. I was truly sorry I did that. They were partly raw, greasy, and I don't know how else to explain them. Just horrible. Some looked like they were overcooked but yet they were not crispy or anything. Just limp fries. Majority undercooked. To my surprise, I received the check and my burger was $12 where my sisters was $10. The only reason for the upcharge would be the substitution of the fries for the chips. Say what? There was no mention of the upcharge when offered, which is just horrible when servers don't mention any additional charge for things and the way he offered it was like it could be substituted free of charge. Needless to say, that $2 came out of his tip since he didn't have the knowledge to notify a guest of this. Not to mention the disgrace to be charging $2 additional for those undercooked and overcooked greasy piles of disgusting things they call French Fries. I also ordered a Diet Coke which I like to have with lime and what do you know, they were out of limes. This also tasted funny. It was either really cheap Cola however, it tasted more like pretty flat soda. Sitting on the dock of the Bay (hee hee get it?) was the best part of this meal. The service was ok. Things were delayed when requested, such as the pickles and BBQ sauce (which was requested at time of order). The food was horrible. The fact that they were out of so many things just an hour into happy hour and the cheapness of the cheese sauce on the tater tots that you couldn't even notice the flavor and the greasiness of it and then those fries. No, I can't get over those fries. No reputable place would ever serve fries like that. It was just horrible. I wanted to like this place, and it was a pure let down. Definitely a pass for me. Irish Eyes is right down the road; on a bad day they are better. Awesome Happy Hour menu, just make sure you get their early enough so you can get a spot at the bar (inside, porch or outside) or a high top in the bar areas.

A Solid Bagel Stop in Lewes…read more I've eaten at Surf Bagel before, so on the way home from a recent business trip I decided to stop again and grab breakfast to go. I ordered a sesame bagel with egg, cheese, and scrapple, along with a hash brown. The bagel was nicely toasted and very fresh, which is really what you hope for when you're stopping at a place that specializes in bagels. The sandwich itself was simple but very satisfying. Nothing over the top or crazy fancy, just a well made breakfast sandwich that hit the spot. The service was friendly and quick, and the place itself has a unique feel to it. Inside they sell quite a bit of Surf Bagel merchandise, which gives it a fun local vibe beyond just being a bagel counter. I included a few photos because the shop has a cool look to it. I stopped in around 9 in the morning and it was still pretty busy, even during the off season. That tells me this place probably gets packed during the summer months. One of the Lewes residents recommended this place during my recent stay, and an excellent recommendation it was! Located about 3 miles from downtown Lewes, there is plenty of parking in the busy shopping center...which I always appreciate. Don't be surprised if there is a long line upon walking in as this place is popular with the locals. The smell of freshly baked bread is the first thing that hits you. There is a wide selection of croissants, cakes, muffins, cookies, rolls, danishes, and of course, loaves of bread. A complete list of their offerings can be found here: https://www.labaguettede.com/menus/#lewes-menu As I was vacationing with a group, we got a few items; but I opted for the namesake baguette. When we returned to the AirBnB, the skinny baguette was still warm and had the signature crispy-ish exterior and nice flaky interior. Spread on some butter with coffee, and that was a perfect breakfast. I forgot to take a pic, but the breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese sando was excellent. Crispy strips of bacon, fluffy eggs, melty American cheese, is contained within toasty bread. At $8.50, honestly that is a good deal since it was large enough for two meals. Service was efficient, albeit perhaps a bit brusk...but it was busy so I'm not gonna detract any stars. The staff behind the counter just want you to give the order and don't have time to engage in too much small talk. From start to finish, a large-ish order of 12 items (including 3 breakfast sandos) only took about 8-10 minutes. In additon to baked goods, there are grocery items, t-shirts/cups, and other retail items for sale. While there is limited seating indoors, if you're lucky enough, snag one of the small table outside to enoy dining al fresco.

Things I liked: - their ample selection of breakfast burritos and ready-to-eat food like protein bars and pastries. I got their vegan breakfast burrito (the Happy Cow) which was basically a tofu scramble in a burrito. It was good and satiating! - my cappuccino with oat milk was good. I don't know why they offer three different sizes for cappuccinos though. Areas for improvement: - I really felt bad for their staff because of how crazy it was. They had enough people working (although another person on the register would be nice) but having paper tickets is a little archaic and slow. - They heavily promote mobile ordering, but as other reviewers have noted, mobile orders are in a totally different queue. I would've placed my order online but the wait time was two or three hours! They don't let you set a pickup time, so it seemed wildly unpredictable. - why is the menu SO long? You don't need to make everyone happy! It's a cute spot and, were it not so packed, I would've spent time there. There's plenty of seating for larger groups.
