Parking: you will need to parallel park and pay for parking. There is not designated parking lot for Egg. There are a few parallel spots right out front, but you will need to mostly likely look for parking down the road. Seating: there are a good number of seats, in the front and there are a few tables in the back. They will not seat you until all of your party members are present. Food: the food was good! It was plated nicely and had a nice visual. It's a regular brunch place! The smoked bacon was good, if you want something sweet & salty. Bathroom: there are 2 bathrooms in the hallway toward the back of the restaurant. They are unisex bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a baby changing table inside. We visited Egg for brunch, and it was a lovely experience! This place is usually pretty busy, so we were lucky to get a table for four right away. I ordered the Egg Benedict with home fries, and both were quite tasty. My husband got a breakfast burrito and he likes it too. The only critique I have is that the home fries were a bit too soft for my liking - I prefer them crispier. We just love everything about our best neighborhood breakfast spot. The owners and servers treat you like family, everyone is happy to see you. This is not some sloppy diner breakfast grill where they slap a cheap plate of poorly executed eggs in front of you. I always get the egg benedict but wanted to spice it up and try the eastern shore jumbo lump crab benedict this time which did not disappoint and I like that I can choose either a single or double portion! Really enjoyed our visit. We were sat right away at the bar on a Sunday (5 min wait for a table). The food came out insanely fast but it was perfectly cooked and delicious. I am pretty picky with my bacon and this was the best I've had in the area. We noticed there were many regulars sitting at the bar ordering "the usual" so that was cool. Service was efficient and friendly. The only thing I didn't really love was the bread. It wasn't bad but it was different, almost tasted like gluten free bread but I'm not really sure why. We kicked things off with the Siriacha Bacon Candy and the sausage & cheese balls -- both were fantastic. We went to Egg around 10 am on a cloudy Monday morning in early June and fortunately, found a parking space right away in front of the restaurant. What luck! We decided to eat outside because with 6 adults we didn't have a lot of indoor seating options at that moment. We were quickly given water and our alcoholic drink orders were served quick too. My daughter did not like her espresso martini. It was served in a small plastic cup and the taste wasn't good and didn't look like most espresso martinis-there was no foam. But still costing $15. Egg never misses. The food is always incredible and the service is top tier. I took my mom here for Mother's day brunch. We got the Blinis with smoked salmon and caviar, the Chesapeake Benedict and the Croque Madame. The Blinis were little bursts of wonderful flavor in each bite. Right down the street from our hotel. Referred from a friend and well worth it. Not a huge place but they have porch and outside seating which is great if the weather is. Dog friendly also. The staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. Service was pretty quick and good. Understand it can be pretty busy on weekends so go early. Parking may require a little walk.
