I had great hopes for this place upon driving up and entering the building, it was very nice on the outside and the entrance area was large & clean. Yes, you are required to pay upfront, which does not bother me. Once I paid, I was immediately seated. I did notice that several of the booth seats were worn, if not tore up...like the one i sat in. I did an initial walk through to see what food was on the entire line, since it was middle of lunch, I was not surprised by the fact that some of the dishes were depleted or gone. The did a good job of refilling the food pans with items for all of the hot foods. Sushi, which consisted of mostly crab roll base, was another story. This took a little more time to refill, for the most part, but there were still some that were not refilled unless there was a mad rush, which I don't think was the case. I opted to try some of the Mongolian grill, where you compose your own dish from their limited selection. While they had all of the regular protein selection available (Chicken, beef & shrimp), i thought the vegetable selection was a bit sparse. As for the regular hot foods, they had a lot of chicken dishes, fried & sautéed, they did have a few beef items, pork ribs, several seafood selections. They also had a few fried appetizer items like egg rolls, spring rolls, crab puffs/cream cheese puffs and potstickers too. Everything was seasoned well, but nothing stuck out as bod or good. If I am in the area and hungry, i would consider stopping again; but I wouldn't go out of my to say, let me drive up here for a bit to eat. Pretty straight forward place if you are looking for buffet. They have some pretty tasty options. They are taking covid precautions with them having gloves for when you go to serve yourself and are asking people wear mask when you aren't at your table. Staff can get busy with all the people but when I went during lunch they were still available even when they got slammed for lunch. I'll be back next time I want to treat myself to a nice buffet. If I could give zero stars I would I think we got there at about 830 which before I went we looked online and saw that they close at 10 so I felt like that was an OK amount of time. It looked like they hadn't refilled the trays in hours so there were barley any options and the options we did have were cold, Than at about 845 they started putting everything away putting tables and chairs up basically closing down the place mind you they were supposed to be open for another hour and 15 minutes So that definitely makes you just want to get out of there and we had just sat down paid $50 to eat this horrible food, We walked out at about 910 and right when we did they turned the lights off very unprofessional we will never be back. The problem with Yelp these days is that a lot of folks just provide a review based on a restaurants COVID related response. I find this to be unfair to not only the restaurant but to the Yelp community as a whole. To that end, here is the first real review of this restaurant- We ate lunch here on the opening weekend and were not disappointed! The restaurant is clean, the staff is very attentive and the food is very good. They have large selection of Chinese food, sushi, a Mongolian BBQ as well as a salad bar and desert bar. It appears that on the weekends they charge the dinner rate so found it was just a tad expensive for lunch. They do have Covid protocols in place such as requiring customers to wear gloves (that they supply) and masks while at the buffet. Overall a good experience so we will be back! read more

I can't recommend this buffet, the food is not the best . There is a sushi area , all the pieces I had were dry and I was so disappointed. Walmarts got better sushi. And most of the food is typical Chinese. But I think the grill area is probably the only area that has hot food . They have a small area of American food but I didn't try that either . I was there for a Christmas dinner approximately 3 pm on a Sunday and not sure when it closes but I assume like their regular hours till 8 pm so I don't think cold food and greasy can be blamed . A buffet during COVID was the last thing I thought I'd be doing, but my mother has been waiting for Lin's to open for the last year, so here's a review that may help you. The food: Look, is any Chinese buffet really "good"? You know what you're going to get and Lin's has a ton of options. From Kung Pao and Orange chicken to pizza and cheese enchiladas(!?), they have something for everyone. The quality was hit n miss. Their sesame seed chicken was real tasty, but the beef in the broccoli beef was "spit into your napkin" bad. There's a salad bar, a dessert bar (fruits, puddings, ice cream, baked goods), and even a Mongolian grill option where you choose your raw meats and veggies to have cooked right in front of you. COVID: I have to say, they are at least trying, a little. They're using paper plates (they hold up) and plastic forks. They have disposable gloves that you must use while at the buffet. But there's very little social distancing. The buffet itself is crowded and there are no seats empty in between you and the next party. Also a few people were walking around with no masks and I never saw anyone ask them to put one on. Overall, it was a decent, if not typical, Chinese buffet. Ate here with friends yesterday for lunch! Great selection of foods ranging from sushi, traditional Chinese dishes, BBQ grill, Mongolian BBQ, and desserts! They also do take out/to-go! This place is very overpriced! They charge any kid over the age of 10 years old as an adult. The food isn't even worth the price! Very nasty. It has no flavor or taste as if the food before it was cooked was old. I would HIGHLY recommend another location! Wish I could get my money back! read more

I enjoy buffets and this buffet I enjoyed going with the family it has a variety of different food for every taste and like however, this location recently got hit with 6 health code violations one for improper handwashing. I don't know if I feel comfortable eating at this buffet anymore after knowing that. I hope that the owner or management does something about it. read more

Chinese buffets are usually nowhere near authentic, and usually not anything to write home about. But they usually have plenty of variety and plenty to eat. This one was no exception. My husband and I enjoy going to Chinese buffets and thought we'd try Lin's in Mesa. It is clean, the servers are all kind, the price is decent, the building is spacious, the buffet area is so-so. My husband loved the ribs and the Mongolian stir-fry. My family of 6 tried Lin's when we found out this location finally opened. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was tidy . My husband I enjoyed the fresh sushi a lot . Our kids loved everything the picked for themselves. We also all got a little dessert. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. The price though for the 6 of us was a bit too costly for dinner . Okay so I went to Lins yesterday for the first time. When I walked in there was a little line so I hopped in. I paid for my party and added a tip. I wasn't sure if it was for a server but I added $7.00. The Buffett is really nice and pretty big also. There was a lady making steak and all you had to do was tell her how you liked it cooked and she'll wave you down when it's done. They have sweet plátanos and I loved the way they tasted. Lins Grand Buffett had a lot of yummy food options and everything seems like good quality food. The sushi was neatly placed and also tasted very good. When I got home I had to use the bathroom and it was not a healthy bowel movement. The only thing I would say that doesn't make this place a five star is the servers. Every time I was poured a refill for my drink it was filled too much to the top and spilled over. The servers were constantly in a rush and I understand it's a busy restaurant but that's no excuse for spilled drinks. For the server to not even wipe it up was ridiculous. I had to clean the spilled drink myself. Also we asked too many different servers for napkins for all of them to forget that we asked for napkins. Overall it was nice not having to leave a tip after i was done eating because i tipped before I sat down. All the food you can eat fora modest price. Sort of a Chinese smorgasbord, you can sample many different dishes. I sampled sushi rolls, BBQ chicken, several pork dishes, egg rolls, and boiled shrimp. All very tasty. They also had an octopus dish, but I did not sample it. It wasa four plate trip (one salad, two entree and one dessert (fresh cantaloupe, musk melon and honey dew melon). Dining the whole buffet was either cold or very luke warm. This was pork, chicken and seafood. The tempatures were not safe. My meal was paid for so I didn't complain to management. I ate cream puffs that were cold and delicous and their donut balls. I will not be back! read more
