    Chicken and baked sweet potato
    Betty L.

The beef stew meat was dry. The baked sweet potato was good. The bbq chicken was alright. The meat loaf was fine, maybe a bit dry as well. The peppers were fine. I liked the breaded popcorn shrimp, but they were salty. Lots of people there. Took a while to get through the line.

I had awesome pot roast. I had a jalapeño that was grilled and so wonderfully spicy. I watched the people decorating desserts, getting salad fixings and working hard. Not one server was standing around on their phones. Not one server was on a visible break. They were all 100% busting hard and the floor was clean, the plates were clean. The food was hot and delicious. My cup only got to half empty before our server already had a new one ready for me. I really enjoyed my visit. Grateful for this hard working crew.

I haven't been to a buffet in a while, but this place was running almost perfectly imo. All the staff was friendly, our table was cleaned off many times, are drinks were refilled promptly, and the food was good overall. There were a couple of items out here or there, but everything else was stocked up. I also noticed when people left, their tables were cleared and cleaned fast. I'll definitely come here again.

I mean what's not to love? It's been probably over 12 years maybe even longer since I've been to a buffet... And since it was my sisters special birthday, this is the place that she chose and I'm so glad that I went! I had to do first of all was take a walk around the many different bars and choices that they have both cold bars and hot bars they have everything from Italian food to comfort food meatloaf mashed potatoes, gravy, collard greens, cornbread probably like three different types... pizza, fish, pasta, baked chicken, fried chicken, not to mention all the sweet bourbon food they had I really think they have it all! they had two types of soup they also had a salad bar to fulfill all of your salad bar dreams lol they had real bacon, sunflower seeds they had these little delicious croutons ( homemade). I had the Caesar dressing, bleu cheese crumbles (lots) , cucumbers... etc., etc. and all the other dressings... it was really good ! I appreciated the girl that changed out the sad mushrooms for some nice fresh ones! Oh my goodness we ate and ate and ate and ate lol I mean that's what the point of a buffet/salad bar is right? But for me I like to just get a little bit taste it and then go back for more I would have to say my best favorite was the pot roast with the red potatoes and then I also did love the carne Asada that they had, it was sliced thinly, which is great I just like a little taste, but if you do like a big steak they cook steaks to order! I certainly wasn't hungry enough for that and I didn't have enough room for it, but I could definitely see myself going back there and taking my kids and let them all choose whatever they like. The server was really sweet and the drink is not included so here's a tip - unless you're gonna drink water it's going to be about $22 for the buffet and the food which is not a bad price at all considering the amount of food choices!! I guess you pick up your silverware which is in a basket and individual little packets in your straw when you're walking in that would be my other tip. The staff was really friendly and everyone seemed happy which is always a good sign when people are in a restaurant. it was my sister's birthday and they came and sang happy birthday to her and brought her a slice of cake with some special little sprinkles, they really made it so sweet and we had such a fun time even if it was only for a moment that they sang! Sitting around your family is just really so fun!! They had so many sweets carrot cake, regular cake, cupcakes and all types of ice cream's what I really enjoyed is that the kids that were there we're having such a fun time just choosing whatever they like with cookies and Jell-O and cheesecake, cobbler and it was just a really nice friendly family atmosphere I can't wait to take my kids there! Here's my tip - Please bring a little bit of cash to leave your server, they were busy, but helpful!

I haven't been since 2020 and I haven't been missing out on anything. The cost has gone up to 23$ and some changed for Sunday dinner all day prices and a drink. It was musty and warm not enough air flow, it lacked cleanliness in the line station, in how the wash and prep veggies to the dishes. Yes the dishes. So many plates, bowls and silverware were left with lipstick stains and food debris all over them. Just nasty! The quality of food was not bad and it was hot. However it's not enough to have me return. I visited on Sunday and Tuesday night tested positive for Covid.

It was so dirty and then the ice cream was broken and it smelly like feet and the ladies were so rude and called me ugly and then it was bad and found this in my garlic bread

SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS…read more It was time for a re-review of Charleston's. Companion and I arrived at 5 and were seated immediately. We were going to try to eat the same menu as last time or as close to it as possible. We started off with the Dynamite Shrimp. As with the last time it was excellent. Also was the warm spinach and artichoke dip. It too was excellent though I am not understanding why they include sour cream and salsa with it as neither worked well with the flavor of the dip. We ordered non-alcoholic cocktails. Companion ordered a strawberry margarita which was quite good. I ordered the blackberry punch, which was a big mistake. The drink was cloyingly sweet and the flavor was overwhelming. After a few sips I could not drink anymore of it and had to send it back. As a non-alcoholic cocktail it was a disaster. Companion asked if they could make a cranberry margarita and the wish was fulfilled nicely. I finished companion's strawberry margarita which was decent. For main courses, companion had the baby backs which were ordered the last time. A tad overcooked but not bad. It was accompanied with excellent french fries and beans which were identical in taste to ranch beans that come in a can. The beans remained untouched after a taste of them. The fillet was not on the menu this year and instead was flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce. No baked potato anymore and no salad offered. While the steak was reasonably cooked, the smear of sauce over it had exactly by count 4 peppercorns in it. The accompaniment was garlic mashed potatoes, which were dense and without any charm at all. We had asked our waiter Matthew to make sure to include 2 batches of croissants in a bag to take home. Not only was no bread service offered to us, but the ones to take home were completely forgotten by our waiter. The burgundy mushrooms that we had last time are no longer a side dish but are an extra charge now, though the flavor is still top shelf. Desserts were the same as last time, and the quality and flavors did not change from the last time. Service was nice, but slow with the meal taking more than an hour and a half. Removing 1 star and almost removing 2 stars. This restaurant will be evaluated again in the future. 4 stars

I had to increase our party size by 1:00 and that didn't seem to be an issue at all. We placed our cocktail orders and they came out right away. I also asked for regular butter instead of the cinnamon better with our role, and our server happily brought that. They have a great deal with margaritas and Long Island iced teas for five dollars. We all ordered different things. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin, rare, with a baked potato and Caesar salad. Everything tasted good, and my state came exactly like I like it - - rare. I will say the $5 cocktails are worth about $5, as there wasn't a whole lot alcohol in them. This place is kind of loud, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner this is not your place. From the moment we sat down, the vibe was right, relaxed ambience, comfortable setting, and the kind of place where you can actually unwind and enjoy your meal without being rushed. The environment just feels good. Our waitress was awesome, attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without hovering. That kind of service makes all the difference and she nailed it. Now the food. Let me start with the real star of the show, the Cheesy Mashed Potato Balls. Golden, perfectly crispy panko crust on the outside, and when you bite in? Creamy mashed potato loaded with gooey melted cheese that literally stretches. Paired with that smooth cheese dipping sauce, these are dangerously addictive. I'd order a double next time without hesitation. The wings were incredible, and yes, I taste tested both the Garlic Parmesan AND the BBQ. The Garlic Parm had that rich, savory coating with a beautiful caramelized char. The BBQ brought a sweet, smoky glaze that had me licking my fingers. Both were meaty, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Honestly couldn't pick a favorite, you need both. I also grabbed a burger on a pretzel bun with bacon and sweet potato fries, stacked high, messy in the best way, and the pretzel bun held up like a champ. The Hub has that classic neighborhood grill vibe with quality that punches above its weight. Delicious food, generous portions, great service, and a relaxing spot to kick back. Will absolutely be back. Pro tip: Don't sleep on those mashed potato balls. Order them first. And get both wing flavors, thank me later.

The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. There are so many breweries and pubs around here that there's pretty tough competition. As other reviewers have stated, their duck fat fries are great! So crispy and the herbs really elevate it. They can be a little heavy handed with the salt to the point where you may see salt piles on your fries, but at least the salt granules are larger and can be easily swept off. Although their fries are great on their own, they unfortunately struggle to strand up when loaded. I'm not sure how they do it, but we've been to places where fries can remain crispy even when loaded with toppings. Their poutine is still tasty though if you don't mind your fries soggy. Their burgers have great beefy flavor, but after trying a few of their burger options, my partner and I also feel that some other places do their unique burger stylings a bit better. A lot of the toppings overwhelm rather than contribute to the overall burger. There's plenty of searing both indoors and out. You have bar top, high table, and regular table style seating for indoors. There's plenty of 4 person tables outdoors under shade and also with misters on if it's hot out. Indoor seating offers plenty of viewing for sports. Service is also pleasant. Due to how they source their ingredients, the overall menu is on the pricier side. Although my partner and I prefer other breweries more, we do think it's still worth it to try visiting Arizona Wilderness Brewing at least once.
