I can't believe I forgot to review this place so many years ago. Took the same husky to get a bath (for the first time in forever) and Lily's was still as awesome as I remember. Clean bath facilities, well stocked with towels and high quality treats. Water is spa-like warm, and the shampoo options are great. I've looked around at other bath facilities, but this is honestly still the best one. Calming vibes for my anxious pup and plenty of treats and toys to buy as a reward for positive behavior. To start, I must say that Page hasn't been the biggest fan of getting a bath ever since she was a puppy. She's turning 14 this weekend and we're taking a road trip to Utah, so I wanted her to smell and look her best. Walked in and was greeted right away, and was taken to a DIY tub that, admittedly, was slightly nicer than the one in my master bath at home. I'm not sure if it was that, the soothing music being played, or the aromatherapy spray...but this was by far the easiest experience I've had at a dog wash. The lavender essential oil wash has my dog looking, feeling, and smelling the best she has in quite some time. I splurged and also purchased some CBD treats (so we can really party for her birthday) as well as some dry skin cream and felt that both were reasonably priced for what I got. This bath and shop makes bathing my dog a fun and pleasant experience. I love going here to treat my dog to a nice bath. The bath is at a height that is comfortable for me since I am taller. I go to other places sometimes based on where I am in town and their baths are too low for me. I do wish they had brushes for the dogs available after the bath. I took my 47 pound Poodle, Lab, and German wire hair mix, Riley for a bath at Lily's. The store staff Aspen was kind and helpful with putting a grooming loop around my dogs neck to keep her in the tub. She gave me the run down of what was available since it was my first visit. They had complementary bison treats for Riley and provided shampoo/conditioner and face wash. They even had ear cleaner and cotton balls. I would recommend this to anyone who hates cleaning their whole bathroom after they bathe their dog. They take care of the mess and you get to leave with a clean dog! Win win situation!! read more

I loved my experience. My dog Gigi needed a bath and a nail trim. You do the washing (while I fed my Gigi bison treats and wore the washing apron) and the owner mists the air with essential oils to keep your dog calm. She provides great soaps that rinse easily and special kong brushes to get the hair from deep down. The nail trim was expertly done and didn't scratch my wood floors. I rarely receive comments on my dog, but after this wash, I am telling the truth she got four compliments on her coat and beauty. I am almost excited to let her play in the mud so we can go back. I have an 8 yr old Neapolitan mastiff who has had health issues lately and every time I go in the owner checks to see how she's doing and always has great recommendations. They are always so kind and caring to the animals here. It's a small staff, and all of them are friendly and knowledgeable. If you brush and bathe your dog yourself, then they cut the nails, it's less than $35. My creaky, cranky old dog always receives patient and careful treatment, and stays supernaturally calm during the nail trim (not the case at home or anywhere else!). The toys and snacks are a little expensive, as in any local boutique, but high quality. The rawhide bone we got there is only 1/3 gone after 3 chewing sessions, when she usually finishes them in one sitting! The owners is almost always there (washing/grooming/cleaning), and it feels good to support someone who works hard and is so personally involved in her small business. read more

Come here routinely for my pup to get her nails clipped. She can be pretty picky and quite a pain when it comes to getting her nails done, but the folks at Lily's do a great job with her. They are patient, kind, and careful and clearly care about the job they do. I feel so silly that I've driven past this place hundreds of times and never stopped. It's literally within walking distance from my house! Overall, the staff is so kind, caring and knowledgable. They genuinely seem excited that you're supporting them and are very thoughtful in every suggestion they give. The first time I went in, I had just ran out of dog food and needed something quickly, ahead of a busy night. I popped in and they listened intently to me describing my dog (she loves the food they recommeded, which is rare--she's a picky eater.) While I was there, I decided to make an appointment for grooming. A month later, I brought my dog in. The groomer is a dog lover, through and through! She was so kind and accepting to my senior rescue dog, who can be quite timid. She went through in detail how she's take her time to make sure Bella was comfortable. When I came back, Bella was chilling behind the counter with the staff! All smiles and tail wags, and she was very well groomed. I could tell she was well cared for. There are a lot of options in North Denver for both pet food and grooming. I've tried them all and I won't return to anyone but Lily's. Absolutely the best! I brought our 6 month old (70lb) Great Pyrenees here today and as it was his first time doing anything grooming related, I was a bit nervous he would hate it. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The self-service bath was easy and they even provided treats and a calming mist to help ease his nerves. After the bath they trimmed his nails and I think the groomer was an actual dog whisperer during the trimming. This place is amazing! This is by far the best self-service dog wash I have ever brought my golden to and you get so much for a great price. They have everything you could ever need including brushes, a wide-variety of essential oil shampoos, ear cleaner, and freeze dried bison treats for your pup. Our pup stays secure and in place while bathing with the leash system. The water pressure and air pressure of the blow dryer were perfect and they even give you a happy hoodie to keep them calm while drying. Lynn and Anna were so accommodating, helpful, and friendly. I booked a semi urgent groom for my golden retriever. Booking the appointment was super easy and the receptionist asked really great questions that I usually forget to mention. On the day of his appointment I had spent the morning purchasing a car. Of course I didn't account for the extra time that it takes and we were going to miss Boulder's appointment. I called the groomer to cancel and they worked with me on bringing him in late. I could not be more thankful! I brought him in and he was finished 3 hours later. He smelled and looked great! They did a fantastic job. To top it off, Boulder hates baths and is usually very grumpy afterwards, but when he left Lily's he was his happy, goofy self. I stop by to get my dog cleaned up and this angry pregnant girl at the desk tells me there's a 15 min wait and they will text me when it's ready. I give them my number and 30 min later they text me saying it's ready. I show up 10 min after the text and she then tells me they're closing soon and Im screwed cause she doesn't wait after closing time. So I burned 40 min trying to get service done here and she basically gave me the middle finger. She was a rude little girl and obviously couldn't care less about the business she works at. I brought my dog-child, Gus, here the other day for a full grooming/haircut. He turned out great! He was very scruffy to begin with as I had let his hair grow out for the winter, and he looked like a brand new pup by the end of it. He has been getting a ton of compliments on his summer haircut over the last few days. Lily was very accommodating when I needed to bring him in a couple days early. She was also very friendly to Gus and was hanging out with him when I came to pick him up, which I appreciated because he doesn't like to be left alone in a crate. Lily's Baths & Biscuits was nothing short of phenomenal! We have taken our puppy to different self wash places around Denver, and each time we have left stressed. Our pup is pretty nervous and especially does not like baths. However, our experience at Lily's was completely different. Jeni greeted us and immediately knew we were new customers. She rolled out the red carpet for us and Kingston! She mixed a special shampoo for his coat and skin. As we started washing him, he started yelping. Jeni came over and was able to calm Kingston down putting essential oils on his face and changing the spray setting. He eventually felt calm enough to start eating treats! She showed us how to clean his ears and prevent infection. When we finished his wash, he actually started wagging his tail! We asked if Jeni could clip his nails too. She got down to his level without forcing him on the table. We have never had such a pleasant experience grooming our dog for such a great price. I love that this shop opened in my neighborhood! I took both of my dogs in, one for grooming and one for self wash. Both of my dogs are older, and my oldest was going to be groomed, but he got uncharacteristically stressed out. The owner and groomer was super nice to switch out my dogs, taking the one I planned to self wash for the grooming appointment. My oldest calmed down after I took over cleaning him and everyone at Lily's was super understanding about my personal freak out over his meltdown. My younger dog (Kita) who was then groomed did surprising well with the entire situation. We were nervous about her because she has a history of upsetting groomers and I would then have to take her back. But India (the groomer, if I got the name right) did really well with Kita and didn't mind that I had hubby there to make sure Kita didn't go into full brat mode. Rubber comb and mixed shampoo in squirt bottle provided for wash. Clipping nails 8$. Parking is better not on Tejon or down Tejon a bit from the shop area. Overall, 10/10 will definitely go again, though maybe one dog at a time for my own sanity. Dogs loved the treats there too. Plenty of positive reinforcement. read more
