We got our dog Ellie a cake for her birthday and it was perfect! The cake itself was so adorable and the dogs all loved it. Lisa was so wonderful, we got busy and completely spaced picking our cake up and she called us and waited for us to come get it, which we were so thankful for. She also gave us a little biscuit for our friend's dog who was also celebrating her birthday at the same party. If you're looking for the best dog cakes this is the place!!!

Pickup was also very simple, being in what I think is a very central area of Denver. Packaging was great, and she even gave us a few doggy treats to sample, which our neighbor's doggies LOVED. I had a Yappy Hour for Mistys 1st Birthday with some of her furry friends and the pups went CRAZY for this cake! My girl is a super picky eater and she loved her cake. The owner Lisa is super accommodating - with all the craziness getting ready for the party i was late picking up the cake but It wasn't a problem for Lisa. And she even provided a candle and hats! The cakes was so cute and I love that is made fresh with healthy ingredients. I'll be ordering ng treats from Lisa moving forward.

Half the size and double the price I'd still absolutely buy this cake! The human ingredients are so important for me. My pup was turning 11 and I was so excited to find this place. I was in the neighborhood for brunch with friends and felt a little guilty for leaving my dog alone while I was out. I figured I'd check if there was a place to pick up some treats as a mia culpa for my buddy. I called to check on the hours, today being Easter and all. The owner told me she runs the shop from her home but that, yes, certainly she had treats for my pup. I bought a one pound variety bag of biscuits, a carrot cake cupcake (a pupcake, perhaps? ), and a banana peanut butter gelato. Not only did my dog love everything, but the prices were great and the ingredients look to be really healthy ... no weird chemicals to worry about (the carrot cake smelled so good that now I'm craving a slice!). Definitely check this place out! I'll be going back again for sure! read more

I cannot speak highly enough about Lisa's amazing dog cakes and her business. Lisa was lovely, personable and professional from start to finish. She had our dog's cake done in less than 24 hours which was highly impressive considering how detailed and adorable the cakes she makes are! Lisa even took the time to thoroughly explain how the cakes are made and all of the ingredients that are used so that I could rest assured that the cake was safe for my dog to eat. As you can see from the photos, Makai clearly loved the cake and even licked the bowl clean after he was done! I found Biscotti Hound Dog Biscuit Bakery on Yelp. Great reviews and I can see why! I got my dog Bunty a birthday cake for his 7th birthday. My dogs LOVE it. The cake is made entirely from scratch and made the day before. The cake is beautifully decorated. The owner is very nice, I was able to pick up the cake earlier than later in the day. The left overs can be frozen and served at a later time. I will definitely be ordering from here again and highly recommend you order from here too! read more

I had a special request if she could make a cinco de mayo birthday cake and she said it was no problem. She makes them fresh and gives a complimentary hat and candle. She even threw in some cinco de mayo party favors from another customer. When I brought the cake to the party, my sister and her husband thought it was the best thing ever. If you're here reading these reviews, you're obviously an amazing dog owner wanting to give your dog a very special day. If you're like me, you'd do anything for your pup and want their birthday (or whatever occasion) to be better than any celebration you've ever had. Congrats -- you've found the best doggy cake in the biz :) We found Biscotti Hound thanks to my sister (who ordered one for her dog's birthday) and are so glad we did!!! These cakes have served our baby boy Archer and about 20 of his closest doggy friends for his birthday parties the past 2 years. They DEVOUR it. Such a big hit. We've even had a few humans so impressed by their dogs' reactions that they took a bite. Also super easy and convenient to freeze if you don't have enough pups to finish it off the first day. I have a passion for cooking & baking and a love for dogs! I thought why not start my own dog biscuit bakery & combine the two? After being laid off twice during the recession, it just seemed to make sense to start my own company! Love what you do!

After working in a dog biscuit bakery for the past 4 years I fell in love with the concept! What a great way to spend your day. Baking dog biscuits, decorating dog birthday cakes and enjoying your dogs! That's when I decided I should do this on my own. So I started my business in September of 2014. I'm loving every minute of it!

When my new dog, a husky mix, needed puzzles to keep him busy, they helped me choose a good fit for him. When I needed to buy pet food for dog boarding, and found myself short on time, they let me come in a few minutes past closing to do the pickup. When I hurt my shoulder, they helped me carry my big bags of dog food to my car down the block (parking can be an issue when it's the dinner rush for the nearby restaurants). Overall, this unassuming neighborhood store is worth supporting.

I have brought my dog to PetSmart multiple times. I've never had an issue. Typically, because my…read moredog's coat dries so quickly, by the time I get home, they have called me to come back and get him, so about 45 minutes. Last Thursday, 5/7/26, I had a 1:30 pm appointment with one groomer and was called and offered an earlier one because they had lots of openings. I had never been to this PetSmart, but was using it because I was leaving Denver that afternoon and let the woman know that I didn't have a car anymore and needed to pick it up at noon. Their location was closer to the highway and after my car appointment and I was hoping I would have the car in time for the 1:30 appt. She asked if I'd like to come at 2 pm and I said I'd rather stay at 1:30 because I was really trying to get out of town, but kept that time in the back of my mind. While I was at the rental place I saw that I was not going to make the 1:30 time so I called to see if the 2 pm time was still an option. It was, so I locked that time down and got the car and rushed home. I gathered up my pup and threw my luggage into the car. I called on my way and let them know I was coming. I told them I'd be there by 2:15. They said I'd be fine. I arrived at 2:10. The person who they ended up assigning me was different, fine, I was late, had changed my appointment. She took my pup back after I did the paperwork. He wasn't happy, but what pup ever is? I asked another groomer if she knew a place I could get a manicure while he was being groomed. (No cut, just bathed, nails, and extra brushing for shedding.) She didn't have any suggestions, so I turned to google and found a place close by. Two and 1/2 hours later I was concerned because I hadn't received a text or call from the groomer, especially since it's typically only 45 minutes for him. I rushed my service to finish and drove back to the groomer and when I walked in I couldn't find anyone. I could hear my dog barking in distress in the back. I went in and out looking for a staff member and finally someone emerged. I asked if he was done and was told he didn't like the blow dryer, so was put in the kennel to air dry. (I think him hating 15 min in the blower is not nearly as bad as hating over 2 hours in the kennel, but hey, that's just me.) I said something to the effect of how he had been there for 3 hours already and why wasn't he done and I have to be in Omaha, NE tonight, and was told "our appointments take 3-4 hours." I again told the groomer that I needed to leave, I had to get on the road. She asked if I'd like to pay for him and she would get him ready and to come back in 15 min. I said yes and was given the page with his info on it & checked out. I had requested a bath & brush plus the spring special with 15 extra minutes of the furminator. I went back and got him. He was still wet, was barely brushed, and honestly, I don't think he got his nails trimmed or his sanitary area clipped as directed. The nails are still long and not filed and his sanitary area is grown out from his last grooming. I paid nearly $75 at 6:25 pm and didn't get him for another 30 minutes. He was still wet. $75 for a bath, 4 1/2 hours of stress in a kennel for my pup, and a snot nosed attitude from a groomer that I tipped only so I would remember her name. I sure won't forget her face and she will never touch a hair on my dog's head again.

Before checking my cat, Petco/Vetco stated my cat had to get the rabies vaccine required by law. My cat also was given the bloodwork to test for feline leukemia (negative). Overall I had a pleasant experience with Jazmin Nunez-Mikulin, DVM and her friendly staff. The clinic was clean and organized with the store attached to the clinic.
