The problem I've found with a lot of groomers is they are booked 6+ weeks out. Unfortunately, when I need to book a groom it's most likely b/c I've spilled queso or some other drippy snack in my dog's head hair and I need a groomer today, not 6 weeks from now. Woof in Boots was able to get me in the same week I called. When I dropped her off I spoke with the groomer and explained my dog's new anxiety contributed to her recent diagnoses of Cushing's Disease. My dog is now a nervous nelly when I bring her to the groomers. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog here. The groomer assured me she would stop immediately if it got to be too much for my old lady. My dog was done in less than 2 hours (I've bene places where they've kept her for 5+ hours). When I picked her up she was free roaming in the secure doggy area. She had her tongue hanging out and seemed happy. I loved that she was cage-free after her groom since she has PTSD from all her surgeries (and being caged). I will definitely be back for all my grooming needs - and most likely day care as well!

The Sunday I went there was lots of parking in front and along the side streets. The facility itself seemed to need some attention & upkeep - the front glass window was cracked & the inside lobby looked a bit disorganized. In addition, customers are not allowed to tour the facility. As with most boarding places, all dogs need to have an evaluation before a reservation can be made. At this facility dogs have daycare with boarding. There is no charge for the evaluation. I made my evaluation time for drop off at 10am & pick up at 2pm on a Sunday. Thank goodness I received a reminder text the morning of because the text also said the lobby is closed from 10-4pm on Sundays. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. I would have been very disappointed had I gotten there & it was closed. I did call & they asked if I could be there a little early & someone would be in the lobby for pickup at 2pm. I was not happy at pickup when I discovered poop all over one side, by the ear & neck on one of my dogs. The employee was surprised & apologetic, he took her in the back & gave her a bath. The employee was very friendly & personable. At Woof & Boots he said they try to be accommodating & flexible. For example, if some dogs like people more (than dogs) they allow them to hang out with the staff in the lobby, which is gated. They also offer the Bordetella Vaccine for $35 & provide a First Day Report Card with picture of your dog(s).

I won't be recommending this place. I'm incredibly disappointed by the way my final interaction…read morewith Luke & Company was handled. My dog, Buddy, had been groomed by Valerie at Luke & Company for more than four years. Valerie knew Buddy well, and for years I trusted her to care for him. Sadly, Buddy was recently diagnosed with cancer and passed away just a week ago. It took me some time to finally work up the nerve to call Luke & Co. because I wanted Valerie to know that Buddy had passed. When I called, I was shocked to be told that they could not find any record of Buddy or me as clients after more than four years of nail trimming appointments. I asked for Valerie and was told she wasn't available, so I left a message for her to call me back. The next day, I didn't receive a response so I called again. During that conversation, I was told by the manager, Annie, that I was "not a good fit" for Luke & Co. anymore. (WHAT) Considering why I was calling, that response was incredibly hurtful. My dog had died. There was no future grooming relationship to end. I wasn't calling to make an appointment or ask for anything from the business. I was trying to tell the person who had groomed and cared for Buddy for four years that he was gone. I also struggle to understand how there was supposedly no record of us being clients, yet I could simultaneously be told that I was no longer a good fit for them. I understand that businesses have the right to decide who they want as clients. But after four years of bringing Buddy here, I expected some basic respect and understanding, and I received a door slammed in my face. I simply hoped that after four years, someone might acknowledge some basic compassion and I know Valerie cared about Buddy. (I wouldn't be surprised if they still didn't tell her). Whatever positive experiences I had over those four years with Valerie are unfortunately overshadowed by how I was treated at the very end. Being made to feel dismissed by a business that had cared for him for years made an already painful situation worse.

I spent hours trying to find pictures and was willing to drive anywhere within 45 mins. Thankfully I stumbled across Allies page. She had great pictures, before and afters and there were all sorts of pups to showcase her skills. I was impressed, but after my previous experience, I was a bit skeptical. We first connected on Instagram and spent a few days chatting; trying to make sure Allie knew what I wanted cuz after our bad experience, I wanted to make sure it didn't happen again. Allie was patient with me, never promised me anything. She just educated me about the different cuts and gave me suggestions that would compliment my little girl. When we arrived, the staff at Dog Savvy were super sweet. Everyone was helpful and welcomed us. Allie took her time to meet my girl, Millie and really listened to my every concern. Dog savvy has so much swag for the pups, from collars, leashes, tags, bowls and fresh baked goods! When I picked Millie up, even tho grooming sometimes stresses her out, she came back super happy and soooooo beautiful. I was worried because her hair was still very short from previous, but Allie blended what she could and it was so perfect. I had been feeling like a bad mom letting my baby walk around with a messed up cut before and now, I had my girl back!!! Thank you so so so so much Allie!! I've haven't been this happy about a service in a super long time. You truly are a gem and I'm grateful to have found you!

First, it's not easy finding a cat groomer anywhere (even when I lived in Seattle before Denver)…read more Then, find a cat groomer that can 1. get you in within a reasonable time and not make you wait 2 months 2. you can trust and is patient with a cat and their unique needs 3. one that understands cats and that sometimes they don't like being around barking dogs. I found all of this at Dream Team and I'm so happy I tried them out today! I was looking for awhile for a new groomer for my cat. She started getting mats in the back when the weather got cold and I wanted to find a place that understood cat needs and had good reviews. I went to a previous place that I didn't have a good feeling about. I called here and the friendly staff got me an appt in the next week - which is rare! I was so happy they had so many flexible times available. They also let me come in early so that it would be quiet for my cat. When I arrived they explained everything, and they were quick!! I went and had a coffee nearby and before I knew it my cat was ready. They explained she wasn't having the best time (I don't blame her, new place new people!) so I really appreciate that they got the job done, but didn't push her to a stressful level. When I went back to pick her up, the groomers were so helpful in telling me more about her fur, which is different than your average cat (I've only had her for a little over a year). She showed me the brushes they used and gave me great advice. I really appreciated that. She gave me tips for at home, instead of just trying to sell me more services (even though I will definitely be back!) On top of that, their prices are so reasonable. I'm so thankful I found this team. I will also bring my puppy in here now!
