The name says it all: Life Without Laundry...and what could be better than that? I used this service for the first time this past week, and I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, their flexibility, and the product itself. I added a note with my order that the team contact me 15 minutes prior to arrival at my apartment so that I could just run over from work (even though they also let you choose a 2 hour time slot). For both pick-up and drop-off I received a text/phone call telling me they were 15 minutes away. My laundry (of which there was A LOT) came back to me smelling great and very neatly folded. Then, a day later, one of the staff members from LWL emailed me to check up on the order and make sure everything was up to my standards....the personal touch of their service combined with neatly washed/folded clothes makes it unbeatable! Never thought I would use a laundry service, but I have no real available laundry in my building or around where I live, so I decided to give LWL a shot. I am beyond thrilled with both the service and how wonderful my clothes looked (and smelled)! The whole process was super easy, even when I had issues scheduling a pick up, I was called quickly and got everything resolved. Same thing with email. Pick up was within 20 minutes of the scheduled pickup window and same with delivery. I still can't get over how perfectly folded everything was. Hands down one of the best laundry services out there. I work a lot during the week so the last thing I want to do on my days off is laundry, and Life Without Laundry will pick it up when it works best for me and drop it off whenever I need it. I've done other wash dry and fold services and paid just as much, but they don't pick up or deliver. Amazing. So convenient and great customer service. Great prices. So worth it. They washed my sheets and towels and all my clothes a bunch of times. I recommend them to anyone in Boston. I since moved to Los Angeles and tried a similar service - but got someone else's clothes returned mixed in with mine and random costs tacked on without notice, it was over $50 for 1 normal load. So I have an update. Spoke to Alex today and he refunded me my $ from the last batch of clothes which was nice of him. I hope he continues to be a stand up businessman. I still won't be using them...( I mean where are my jeans and leggings???) But the fact that he was willing to contact me personally says a LOT about his character. Character is sorely lacking these days. Try them out. I'm quite sure I'm an anomaly. Really stupid random things like this happen to me quite frequently. I had a good run with these guys for a while but recently had some issues and will no longer be using them. I actually thought the service was great and convenient until I had a chance to speak with "the owner" (Alex)- who continued to mention he was the owner like that was going to change the way I spoke to him or fix the issue we were discussing. The issue I had was my laundry was suppose to be dropped off between 7-10pm- I was leaving for a work trip the following day and had some laundry out there that was needed for the trip. 10pm came and went with no laundry. I got a call around 10:15pm from "the owner" stating that the driver forgot 2/3 of my laundry (not the first time) and that i wouldn't be able to get all my laundry till the following day. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to work for me due to a flight in the morning. I understand that everyone makes mistakes but what got me fired up was the non nonchalant- matter a fact- pompous attitude the owner took over the situation. Not ONCE did the "owner" apologize or even take the blame for the situation instead he went on to tell me it is what it is, "theres not enough laundry in the 1 bag we dropped off to get you through your trip" and continued to mention his 4.5 star rating that I couldn't care less about. After a few phone calls back and forth at 11pm he told me that hes going to have a driver work "overtime" to complete the scheduled order. The door bell rang at 12:15am and I received the rest of my laundry. Great- or at least I thought until I realized my jeans were missing. Was this out of spite? or was this again an honest mistake? I cant tell. I appreciate getting a refund for the services but with the "loss" of jeans this still leaves me in the red. Lessons learned- schedule drop offs earlier in the day so you can factor in delays and don't send out nice clothes on the off chance "they get lost". read more

I primarily use life without laundry for dry cleaning services, being that I routinely wear business casual/suits for work. They have been spot-on every time, and it has been unbelievably convenient having my dry cleaning picked up and dropped off at home. If there are ever any issues, they are super responsive and seem to take great care in making sure everything was perfect for a given order. The drivers will reach out to you direct if there are any issues or delivery questions, and I've personally found them to be very easy and pleasant to deal with. Life Without Laundry is a bit on the pricey side compared to other brick and mortar dry clean services, however I'm happy to pay the premium for convenience, superior service, and consistency. read more

I had debated using a laundry service but that debate is now over. Life Without Laundry came to the rescue. They whole signup process is a breeze and they offer of delivery options, which is nice. No more looking for quarters or trying to beat neighbors to the dryer. I found the price to be comperable to the corner laudrymat but what is not comparable is the service. The staff at Life without Laundty have to be one of the nicest, friendliest and more responsive staff at any company out there. If you leave a voicemail, you get a call back within minutes. If your pick up or delivery will be affected by weather they anticipate that and adjust. I liked that the clothes smell clean but not overpowering and they are nicely sorted. I'm just mad at myself for not using this service sooner. read more

Called the # was told to order online or leave a message. Last year I would have asked for a function to give this company six stars. Since I signed up, prices have gradually gone up to the point that it makes less sense to me to use this service as long as there is laundry in my building. In the past, the price was comparable or just slightly more than the cost of doing a few loads in my building. Now, if i can figure out how to get access to the damn room in my basement, I think I'll most likely just use that. Honestly though, when i joined, it was $9 for twenty pounds, and I expected a price increase in the future. It was just so reasonable that it seemed untrue! This was my first time using a laundry service, but I am impressed! They were really fast about returning my laundry the next morning. Everything was neatly folded and placed on top of each other. They even packed my comforter very nicely in the bag! The only thing is I sent a nearly full fabric softener with my laundry and they came back nearly empty when my clothes did not really smell like it at all. Texted them but did not receive a reply :(. BUT I would still use their service again, I just won't send anything with the laundry anymore. read more

Life Without Laundry is a fabulous service! 3 kids coming home from camp with huge bags of some of the grossest laundry is overwhelming. Last year I drove the bags to a wash/dry/fold place one town over and thought it was great. This year I learned that place had closed so I searched the internet. Even though Life Without Laundry didn't officially deliver out as far as we live, Alex added our town and 2 days later I had all their camp clothes clean, folded and on our doorstep. Wow, that's all I can really say. Such incredible service. I called their phone number, and while temporarily dismayed by an immediate voicemail, I hung up. Within seconds I received a text asking how they could help. I texted back and got an immediate human response. They told me to start an account online, and text back and they'd accelerate my order. My wash and fold was picked up 2 hours later at my hotel by 7pm and returned by 10am the next day. You really can't get better service than this. Amazing! read more

I love this laundry send out company! Everything is always super clean and our stuff is back folded perfectly within 24 hours. We send out a ton of laundry and they have never had any issues with it. Also you can give special instructions and they actually follow them. They have a good tracking system and are very prompt with customer service as well. Nothing but wonderful things to say about them. We previously had a horrible experience with another send out service and they lost tons of our clothes and refused to refund. Life Without Laundry is a phenomenal service. This service allowed me to not have to worry about wasting hours each week at the laundromat. The guys who picked up and delivered my laundry were always very nice and on time. The owner's customer service was second to none and he always responded quickly to any questions I had. My only complaint is that this service is not available where I'm moving to in NY.
