I am visiting the Boston area to support a family member after surgery, so we needed a laundry service. Alex and the team provided easy access through their website and great communication with their client for access to the service. Pickup and delivery were clearly communicated. Highly recommend their professional approach to the service. read more

Started using this laundry service a few months ago and it has been WONDERFUL. Ample pickup and delivery time options means I can get my family's laundry done quickly and on my schedule. Imagine the joy of returning from vacation with bags of freshly laundered clothes waiting at home! I find the price reasonable for the convenience. They also offer dry cleaning and tailoring. Haven't trying yet but I will in the future! read more

No complaints here. I highly recommend. My clothes were picked as stated and returned, fresh, dried and folded. I'm getting the next loads ready. Great service! read more

They are actually amazing and deserve only 5+ stars!!! My first time using their service, they let me know that apparently my wallet was bundled up in my comforter that I was getting washed, and they immediately let me know and carefully placed it to the side before taking care of my items. They didn't just throw the comforter in, they took the time to really clean and examine the item, and when they did they found my wallet in there!! Oh and also great prices. Such prompt service and responses too. 100/10 read more

Started this service urgently. Chose the right one. Easy ordering. Prompt delivery. Friendly smiling helpful drivers!!

They picked up when they said they would, and texted me when they were on the way. I had a ton of laundry - 55.09 lbs to be exact. It was promised for 24 hours later, and they delivered on their promise. Everything was clean, folded, and packed nicely into bags. Great service!! read more

Life without laundry is AMAZING!! Pick up and drop off on time. The clothes are extremely clean and folded beautifully. The staff is extremely polite. I'm willing to continue my business with Life without laundry!!!! read more

Strike 1: ask for free & clear and get April fresh (my husband is a delicate flower with very sensitive skin). Strike 2: delivered four bags of my laundry to the wrong address two towns away in Boston - across from a vacant lot and a 'community of unhoused persons.' Strike 3: when notified the next morning, waited to send a driver to look for said laundry until the very end of the day. Of course it was gone. Strike 4/5/6: haven't apologized, are now only responding to my husband, and have been lowballing me on replacement $$$. Alex, please respond to my husband with your final offer. Watertown Laundry service doesn't have a fancy site, but they did a better job for less money AND my stuff always came back. read more

I love LWL! fast, high quality and zero hassle. What else can you ask for? You need a life without laundry.

A great team and great service! Clothes are well cared for, returned clean and folded, and always organized by type which makes it easy to side them into the dresser and closet. I love these guys!!! read more

Life Without Laundry is a 5 star service that I highly recommend. I asked them to pick my laundry to be washed and folded from my hotel and brought back to my hotel ready to be put back into my suitcase. Alex promised me that they would make it happen on a weekend next day service. Alex made it happen. Great company, great service. Win win read more

Update.. Alex (the owner) called me back within an hour of my first call and assured me he would make it right. He walked me through their process from beginning to end. They have cameras that monitor all cleaning operations so it was easy for him to determine whose clothes I had and that no one else had received any of my items. I reweighed my items minus the ones that weren't mine and was within the range of what i sent. Alex waived my laundry service charge for the order for all my hassle/inconvenience ($60+) and sending a delivery guy to pick up the items that aren't mine. Based on Alex's response, I don't think this is a common occurrence and on the rare occasion it does happen it sounds like they have systems in place to resolve effectively. It's unfortunate that it was the first and only impression I have of the company. If this wasn't my first time using their service and I already had good experiences with them previously, I probably wouldn't have panicked or been as upset as I was. Alex seems like he takes pride in his business and reputation, and definitely wanted to make it right. Hence why I went from 1 to 4 stars. The 4 stars is for the owners responsive and helpful attitude, and they did do a good job cleaning and folding my clothes (the other guys too actually, lol) read more

Very on time with the pickup/delivery! They provide links for you to see they pick up the laundry and drop off the laundry. Like their service a lot and makes my life easier! read more

LWL is amazing!!! Our basement flooded & a lot of our stuff was damaged. The things we could salvage & our day-to-day clothes had to be cleaned ASAP. We had 8bags of laundry: comforters, blankets, clothes, delicates, etc. All were done beautifully in a 24hr turnaround! Alex, texted along the way, pick-up/drop-off prompt. Can't say enough about this place!!! Thank you Alex & LWL staff! read more

I don't usually write reviews but LWL deserves a good one. I don't use them often but a few times a year I'm willing to splurge or if I've fallen way behind on laundry because life/stress/depression gets in the way. One time that stands out in particular is I sent laundry out two days before a flight in need of it the next day but there was a mishap with my phone number. I reached out when I didn't hear (it was a 7-10pm delivery) and he had someone come back to the store and bring it out to me after midnight. I also once was able to text him in the morning for a same day pickup and he's always been responsive to feedback. I'm willing to pay the slight surcharge (it can be about 50c more per lb than other competitors in the area) for the level of service. Just sent out another load of wash today. Thanks Alex and the LWL team. read more

I've been using LWL for the past 6-7 months, and I'm very happy with the service. The laundry is always well folded, they seem to follow the instructions I leave (none of my clothes shrunk ), and the service is often bookable for the next day already. They're extremely responsive and consistently ask for feedback. Only once was my clothing returned damp and they refunded the whole order! Prices are reasonable and the drivers typically arrive in the promised timeframe, only a few times were they slightly late. My living situation changed so I won't need regular laundry service anymore but I'll definitely stick with them for dry cleaning! read more

I googled laundry service to replace an old jacket's zipper and by chance I came across "Life without laundry". I spoke to Alex and he answered my phone many times right away and arranged time for pick up and delivery. Last week a nice woman came to pick up the jacket and this week Frank, the manager came to deliver the jacket with the new zipper and a new laundry bag for future use. They were all exceptionally nice and courteous. I cannot believe having laundry done can be so easy. Will definitely call them again and again. Thumbs ! read more

I usually don't send out my laundry but it's been a hectic week and I just haven't had the time or motivation to really set aside and do it myself. For $40 I wasn't sure that it would be worth it, BUT I will say now it was entirely worth it all. Pick-up was smooth and easy, I was given a window of time and driver was there. Didn't have to think about my laundry again until the next day for drop-off and it was just as easy. All of my clothes look and smell fantastic, the self-service process online was not hard to navigate and most importantly it saved me the added time I didn't really have. Honestly considering using this service more often because it really was a lifesaver for me not having to set aside the time to wash, dry, and fold. read more

Life without Laundry was a wonderful service. The owner even texted me directly to answer questions! But, alas, they no longer service Brockton, so I am left with Life with Laundry. :( read more

I have been using Life Without Laundry for years now without incident. There could not be a more consistent efficient and quality service out there. Easy to schedule and they stick by the pick up and delivery schedule. Life has been much easier since finding them years ago as I travel, they do my sheets, towels and clothes, with care! Definitely a help if you are a person on the go with a busy schedule. read more

Not only is this a terrific service, Alex is amazing to deal with. Travelling, and keen to avoid the high cost of hotel laundry, I sought Life Without Laundry's help. Alex replied to my email, helped me through the process and 24 hours later I have all my clothes back, laundered to perfection and all I had to do is drop it at the hotel front desk, and pick it up a day later. Outstanding, and thank you for your help, Alex. Great job and I highly recommend Life Without Laundry. read more

I literally don't know where this company has been all my life and what I would possible do without them in the future. My life is literally changed for the better since finding them. I love having my laundry fresh, clean, and most importantly folded. Having this delivered to me within a day or two is amazing. If I start to see a build-up of laundry, I just throw it in my big Life without Laundry bags, schedule a pick up and leave it for the professionals. BEST Service ever. read more

Full disclosure - I haven't used them yet BUT - I have reached out to them a few times and even though our schedules didn't align (last minute holiday dry cleaning lol) - they have always been prompt and courteous with their response! Hopefully one day soon the stars will align - they seem like a great business! Good customer service is a rarity these days - so I had to shout them out! :) read more

After moving away from the LWL territory some time ago, I still remember the days when an army of wizards would wash my unmentionables for me and return the folded laundered goods in a bright teal laundry bag. Ten years later and that bag finally split at the seam, after holding hundreds of pounds of laundry, getting tossed down the stairs often and always stuffed to capacity, once getting tossed off a third floor balcony, again way too full. RIP That laundry bag. 5 stars for durability and for the fact that I miss having the ability to pay to have someone else handle my dirty work. read more

I have been using Life Without Laundry for almost a year and they have been exceptional. As someone that travels frequently for work, there is not enough time for me to do my laundry since my apartment does not have a washer/dryer in it. Life Without Laundry has been a savior for me. The high level of customer care, the amount of communication from the initial order to the status of delivery and the presentation on how my clothes return is truly exceptional. Life Without Laundry has been a trusted partner for me and I would highly recommend them to everyone. read more

I have twice landed in Boston in a Saturday night needing a week's worth of laundry washed by the end of the day Sunday. Both times Life Without Laundry picked up at my hotel Saturday night and delivered it back to me clean and folded on Sunday. The experience was effortlessly and well executed. I recommend them without reservation. read more

They were grear when my wife started using them about 3-4 years ago but quality assurance has really decreased in the last year. We constantly get random items from other people's laundry mixed in with our clean laundry when it's returned, they lost or threw away my own personal laundry bag I paid for when I sent dirty laundry out and never reimbursed me for it, clothes don't smells clean when they come back, and they also never returned an item they broke the zipper on that I paid them to replace. My wife and I have contacted them about these issues by phone and by sending written notes in outgoing laundry but no one ever apologizes or remedies the situations. Terrible customer service. I will not be using Life Without Laundry again. read more

Just wanted to leave you a note about your service. We were in Boston in a hotel for 8 weeks due to a medical problem and your laundry service was a lifesaver! The pick up and delivery was spot on and the clean clothes were welcome the next day! I let the front desk know of your services, hope they get you some more customers. Hopefully we won't be back in Boston for such a long time but this time you definitely made my life so much easier, one less thing to think about! Sincerely, Faye G. Floridian read more

They did a wonderful job! They picked up my laundry from my hotel and washed, dried and folded it neatly. They delivered it promptly the next day. This was a lifesaver because I am on an extended business trip and needed this service. Thanks guys! read more

Update: After writing my initial negative yelp review, I ended up contacting the company again because I believe they lost an article of my clothing. I pursued this initially because I had seen an item looking just like it in the package of clothes I initially erroneously received, so I thought maybe I'd just get it back. Failing that, I wanted to be reimbursed. The article of clothing was ~$30, and the terms and conditions say reimbursements are limited to $20 per item, but I figured $20 was better than nothing. How naive I was to assume I would be treated with respect. The owner tried to bribe me into removing my warning about him from this site. An excerpt: "We are a small business. You had a bad experience. I did my best to help. The issue was fixed within 24 hours, you were fully refunded, and the matter was closed. You totally understandably were upset by the issue and wrote the review online there. These are very hurtful to small businesses. ... I would be more than happy to forgo the usual policy that would prevent me from refunding you an additional $40 ... to purchase a new bralette if you would pls remove the review." No, the matter wasn't fixed at all. This just reinforces my initial complaint about him -- he doesn't care about solving your problem. His idea of customer service is to try to gaslight you into thinking there isn't a problem and then to bully you into shutting up about it. I told him I wanted no money from him and for him to never contact me again. Dire, dire warning. Do not interact with this man in any context, much less trust him with your clothes. read more

Unfortunately I have felt the need to update this a final time because it turns out that, once I got my stuff back, things were missing that I had sent for wash, and my white sheets were clearly not bleached or had stain remover applied as requested. And because of previous exchanges, I don't even feel comfortable contacting customer support. Glad I got the refund, as this whole experience wasn't worth it. read more

I've been using Life Without Laundry for 2 years. I initially started because of the pandemic, but have stayed because of the prompt delivery, fantastic communication and personal service. If you can afford it, LWL will be game changing. read more

We were without a washer and dryer during our basement renovation and chose this company based on the reviews. It was a terrible experience. The pickup was convenient but that's it. Cost was high. We would regularly get other people's clothes back in our order - sweatshirts, ratty underwear etc. I lost at least one irreplaceable article of clothing which I reported and was never found. Clothes we asked to have line dried were still put in their commercial dryers and damaged, torn, and singed. My husband had to replace 6+ pairs of designer jeans because of this. I had several articles of clothing damaged - missing zippers, completely singed cloth. Example pic attached. As a result I had to replace hundreds of dollars worth of clothing. After a few incidents we went to a local laundry service which was half the price and much kinder to our clothes. Steer clear. read more

The service was very convenient, I found it to be too expensive- $43.00 for 5lbs of laundry at $2.50/lb doesn't add up at all. Thank you for the partial refund. read more

First order with this company. $90. Towels came back damp and their thin bag had broken, leaving some of our clothes and sheets muddy. No survey to ask how they did. Just a lot of silly marketing language about how they love us and we love them. Well, I hate to break it to them, but we don't love them and this relationship is over! read more

Can't say enough! Quick and reliable pickup and delivery and the clothes are beautifully folded and smell so nice! Keep it up!!

The people I interacted with were super polite and had everything washed and delivered super early! It's definitely pricey but after my laundromat had a covid case I needed to try something else. They washed all of my stuff! But I think they washed some of my clothes with my fur rug - a lot of my clothes are covered in pink fuzz now. In hindsight I should've specified to wash them separately, but it's inconvenient to have to go to the laundromat and rewash of my clothes. I would still recommend them to anyone who can't go a laundromat and can afford it! read more

I had an excellent experience. Everything thing that was promised and more. At the time that they arrived for pickup, I was walking my dog and had left my phone. They attempted to contact me, waited and CAME BACK! So cool! The laundry was clean and arrived when promised. read more
