We brought some refugees who were stranded at Logan here so they could do laundry - 4 people each with 1 load and none of them able to speak English. To make things worse, I hadn't been to a laundromat for 30 years. The woman who ran the shop was awesome. She understood and went out of her way to help and make our guests feel at home. The place was spotless, had multiple sizes of machines and the rest of the clientele were equally as kind. It was a great experience for some folks who haven't had an easy time of it. I choose Soak mainly because of their advertised special on their website--free laundry bag when you put $25 on the Fascard app. I downloaded the app and put $25 on it, but when I tried to redeem my reward, the attendant said the owner told her they no longer offer that special. Yet the special is still advertised on the website--see the attached screenshot. So now I have $6 left on the app that I'll probably never use, and no laundry bag. Also, there is no parking, not even nearby, nor any kind of accessible parking on the street. read more

This place is clean, organized, and offers many machines with varying capacity (20, 40, and 60lbs). I was looking for a place to launder a large and heavy couch cover. For $10 I used one of their well maintained washing machines and now my couch cover looks good as new. I recommend giving them a try. read more

I travel for work and needed a laundry mat because my hotel didn't have self service access. I looked at a lot in the area and decided on this one because it looked clean and had Credit card access with the fascard app on my phone. So download the app and put it on your phone before you go or when you get there, but it works great. The staff is very helpful for someone like me who hasn't been to one in a long time and the very nice owner was on location to help also. It was easy and everything was clean with new machines. It took 50 minuets in total for me. There are some very nice restaurants on the same street in a great neighborhood. read more

I found this place after checking out a few other disappointing laundromats in the Dorchester area and what a relief. You can pay with credit/debit (honestly can't believe that coin-op is still a thing in 2022) and use the FasCard app to avoid having to buy and keep track of a laundry card. The app also lets you monitor the status of the machines and will alert you when your load is finished. I was helped by a very friendly attendant who was kind and patient with me. I will definitely be going back to do my laundry here regularly! read more

The owner Michael is very polite and makes sure you know how to use the machines. The machines are high tech and you can even use your phone to start the machines. The dryers are only 30 minutes and your clothes actually dry. One load takes 50 minutes total. Very clean and up scale. Wet divers which is hard to find now a days. read more

Amazing CLEAN laundry mat, washers and driers are brand new and work efficiently at a fast pace. The owner is super friendly and very helpful!
