My husband and I enjoyed the drinks and customer service! We thought the food was ok? We had the calamari appetizer which our waiter recommended and it was delicious! My husband had the seafood pasta with lobster tail as an extra side and paired it with a cocktail drink. I had the baked pork chop Mac & Cheese with a tap beer. We both thought the food was missing a little flavor but overall it was pretty good. For dessert we shared on crème brûlée which was big and tasteful! Overall we enjoyed the time we spent there. NOTE: It's more of a Bristo than a restaurant but we highly recommend it. read more

The calamari was on point! The halibut was also delicious, which is huge seeing how I live in Alaska and have fresh halibut several times a week. The crust was perfect and the fish still moist and cooked to perfection. The service was also outstanding and the waitstaff was respectful, prompt, and friendly, especially Will. I will be back and highly suggest Lewis and Main for a memorable and delicious dining experience. read more

My husband and I went for dinner last month. He said it was the best steak he's had in awhile (he's picky). I had halibut and it was wonderful. I recently went there for happy hour with a friend and enjoyed several happy hour food items as well as $5 wine! We will return! read more

First time at Lewis & Main Restaurant & Brewery! We had my daughter-in-law's birthday dinner there tonight and all I can say is WOW! Great place, awesome food, cool people, nice atmosphere & music, and delicious dessert! My son & his bride had steaks; she had a lobster tail add-on, he had the duck add-on. Both looked really good; they said it was really delicious! I had the duck. I've had duck before, but I'm sorry to say this was a bit too salty. I'm not used to all that salt. Collard greens were good, not a whole lot of mushrooms like I thought it would have. Duck portion was pretty small and grisley. Son & I split a wedge salad. Loved all the real bacon pieces and the presentation of it. Overall the presentation of the dinners were lovely. Birthday girl & I shared some of the carrot cake; it was so pretty and decadent! Those macaroons were wonderful! Kind of disappointed there was no blender to make a strawberry daiquiri, but not that big of a deal. Birthday girl like her lemon drop and then wine. I highly suggest everyone to check it out! A bit on the pricey side (for my budget anyways), but this is definitely worth every penny! So refreshing to have a "fine dining" place in Monroe! Will be back for those special occasions Didn't take too many pics, we were busy enjoying the great food read more

Over all the food could have been warmer. But the halibut was cooked to perfection, the new your steak with garlic butter was also cooked to the perfect medium rare. The steak toast was a great appetizer, the staff was top notch read more

Ambiance, Food, Employees- All exceptional!! Ratatouille was the the best I've ever had.

Great food, great drinks! If this was down the street from me I would be hard pressed to eat at home. Staff is friendly and the owner is a badass drummer and composer. (Shh it's a secret) read more

We've been looking forward to trying Lewis & Main for a long time now; especially after all the great reviews. We finally got the chance this weekend, with only slightly mixed thoughts. Let me start by saying the food was DELICIOUS! We tried something from each area of the menu - appetizer, main course, and dessert. All were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and presented well. On the service side of things, it was nice, but did not impress us as anything out of ordinary expectations. We made a reservation making sure to include that this was a special occasion. There was never a mention of it by the staff - which would've been a nice touch. The restaurant is fairly good size with multiple seating areas. This said, even with the current health issues going around, we were seated at a table, then within 5 minutes, a group seated directly next to us (sharing the same bench and less than 2ft apart from one another). A little while later, a third set of guests were seated on the other side of us, same spacing. There was an entire row of tables where we were seated and another row directly behind us - all empty the entire time we dined, yet we were all placed together for some reason instead of spacing us out in any way. We couldn't even have a private conversation as spacing was such that it could've easily been one group/family all sitting together and we could hear everything anyone else was talking about. No, we did not say anything to the staff (What would they do at that point? Make us or the other guests move from the table they were already settled into?) as to not bother the other guests in any way with their night out. However, this is something that the staff may want to change in the future. When it came to dessert, my spouse and I ordered the same thing. "Would you like "dessert A"? Yes, I would, too." Unfortunately, she returned later with only one dessert and two spoons for us to share. I guess a misunderstanding, but it would've been nice to have clarified if she assumed we only wanted one because we ordered the same thing. Our server did check in during each course to insure the food was ok - and again, it was super delicious! When we did leave, we passed our server and two hosts near the front of the restaurant. None of the staff bothered to say goodnight, come again, how was everything, etc... no eye contact at all. Will we go back? You bet! It's definitely worth a second try (or a first if you've never been.) If we were separating the experience, we'd rate our food 5* (was exceptional) and our service a 3 (was ok). read more

Unbelievably good food. Literally made me cry it was so good. I had the fish. The sauce was to die for. The cornbread... I still dream about that cornbread. read more

Came here on New Years Eve. Food was rich and most of it was pretty good I will say. I didn't enjoy the beef pappardelle dish at all and the service was insanely slow, our group of 8 was there for over 3 hours, and the food in general is a bit overpriced. I will try it again and update the review soon. read more

Its ok, people friendly, decor nice, borderline upscale food given the price which is high for monroe

Beyond impressed with this place. Not only if the food incredibly delicious their service is top notch. Let's start with the service, we have come in twice now, both times without a reservation as was able to get seated pretty quickly. The ambiance is rustic with a newer vibe. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and personable. They are quick with recommendations and pairings & never let a drink run dry. I left my phone at my table on my first visit and was able to ping it to the location. When I called initially to retrieve it, they were unable to locate it. Thankfully I had left a voicemail and continued pinging my phone at random. A few days later I received a call from the manager that they had located my phone. It had fallen behind something at the bar when they attempted to place it for safe keeping. The manager had to review 100's of voicemails to get to mine to reunite me with my phone. He also apologized for the delay in return and informed me that they have put measures in place for future lost & found items based on this situation. I had mentally kissed my phone good bye. Him going above & beyond to reunite me with my phone far exceeded my expectations. Now on to the good stuff, the food.....in my two visits we have tried 8 different items from the menu. Our absolute favs are the corn bread, ohhh mmm geee the corn bread is phenomenal. It's perfectly crispy, sweet & has the perfect texture. I'd recommend an extra honey thyme butter cause it'll go fast. The thought of it literally makes my mouth water. My second fav would be the cauliflower fritters, pertly sweet & savory and quite the plentiful portion. The Mac n cheese is velvety smooth and has a perfect balance of richness. Lastly, their steaks - you can't go wrong with any of them. My husband said his ribeye was better than the one he had at John Howie. Bottom line, this place maybe a little on the pricey side for its location but it is worth every penny. read more

Horrible service! First time experience was seating myself at the bar and was ignored for 10 minutes. Realizing I must have forgotten to remove my invisibility cloak that afternoon, I got up and left, happy to spend money for dinner elsewhere. read more

Always an amazing experience, I have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, the service is on point, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Wow! If you want some delicious food, go here now. We had their tasting menu so we got to try 16 different dishes between the four of us. We ALL liked them ALL. Portions are generous. Quality is superb. The taste will knock your socks off. My top choice is the calamari and the lobster Mac and cheese. Oh, and the Brussels. But don't forget to start with the warm spinach salad. If you like steak, they got you covered. And you can't leave without the creme brûlée. read more

Exceptional food and service! Their Steaks are seared to perfection. Seafood is the best in town!

It was our turn to try the "new place" in town. Grabbed another couple we haven't seen in over a year for obvious reasons, and made a reservation. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted and quickly sat. The only negative thing I can say was it was LOUD, like really loud. We were quickly greeted by our waiter and his trainee. I think his name was Will. Absolutely fantastic server, a real pro. We started with some cocktails and those were expertly crafted and delivered by the bartender himself. Super nice guy as well. We started our meal with their calamari dish and it was crazy good. A simple dish with such complexity! Moving forward, the salad course. I tried the caesar and without exaggerating, it was the best I've had in over 20 years! The lemon/garlic/anchovy ratio was absolutely perfect. Crispy but tender croutons too. OMG, I want one right now! My wife tried the watermelon salad and its was also incredible. We all shared the shrimp dogs, which were basically tempura shrimp with an amazing sauce. The waygu NY was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The mussels had a great flavor and plenty of bread to dip too! We added scallops to most of orders and that was a nice touch! We also shared steak toast and a few of the pieces of meat were a bit tough so I'm guessing it was a flat iron based on the cut. We skipped desert as its not our thing, but the table beside us loved everything on the desert menu! I can, without a doubt, HIGHLY recommend Lewis and Main. read more

Loved it! Went in and sat at the bar as we just wanted a drink and appetizer and it was great. We ordered the mussels and steak appetizers and the flavor combination of both still makes my mouth water thinking of them. Service was also fantastic! We'll definitely return! read more

First of all, FOOD WAS AMAZING. Drink were on point. I originally wrote this as a 3 star review. However I did realize that they made it up at the end so bumped it up to 4 stars. I am sorry, our service was so far below average that if the food was just average this would have been a 2 star review. Our table started off with the cornbread (it fried and soooo good). Then we had the Pork Shank and LobsterMac. But were top notch and steaming hot. Our table also had the seafood pasta that was great in flavor but could have been a little hotter. For the drinks we had a Moscow Mule and white wine. Solid drink menu and will try a more "bartendy" cocktail next time. Now the bad. Not sure if the main entrance is on Main but that is where we came through. Not quite done and there was a mess behind what might be a bar area, not sure. I understand they just opened up so Ill excuse this. We were very pleased when we were seated in what looks like the main area with the bar and kitchen. What a set up. Hello Seattle relocated to Monroe. Well done, just finish the other part or at least clean it up. Service.....we had a horrible experience. Hopefully it was just a bad night. But I do not know as this was my first impression of this place. Very disorganized and not sure if anyone knew who's table we were. Hostess sat us and gave us menus. We sat there for a bit and bartender come and gave us waters and took drink orders. But honestly I think that was because I was just staring at him for about 5 minutes. When drinks came back we ordered a starter just to get something started (about 10 minutes after seated). When the starter came out, we asked if someone was going to take our order. Finally someone came by and asked us how we are doing and we said hungry and we wanted to order. She took our order immediately but you could tell she was not expecting that. Food came out in a reasonable time with the quality of food that was being served. The lady that took our order had come back and said she would be our server.....she saved the day....and the remaining experience was great. Too bad we were at the end of our meal at that time. They did discount the ticket and apologized. Lets hope it was just a bad night and we fell into a blackhole. I will give this place another chance and will write a review on the repeat experience. I might give them a few moths though.... read more

Great food, comfortable ambiance. Recommend bar seating to watch chef. Nice cocktails. Good date night.

This is the 5th time I've been to this restaurant, and each time I'm more at a loss for words than the last. I've ordered something different each time I've come here, and not one single item has failed to amaze me. Tonight I had the duck confit, fried cornbread, a side of cheesy grits and bread pudding for dessert. My martini was delicious. The waitress was kind and efficient. The chef (Josh) was checking in on us himself to see how everything was. The atmosphere, ambiance, and overall vibe are extraordinary every. Single. Time. 10/10 highly recommend read more

Excellent food and service! Tasha takes great care of us when we are there. Can't go wrong with their fish specials! Always a slam dunk!

This was our first time to Lewis & Main Restaurant & Brewery. What we thought was going to be a brewery with great pub food, turned out to be a restaurant with gourmet food! (They do not have a brewery anymore.) Every starter and entree we had was absolutely delicious!! Calamari was the best we've ever had, with little breading and great flavor. Lobster Mac 'n cheese--oh my! And our steaks were so tender and seasoned to perfection-- the gorgonzola cream sauce on top-so good! Rivaling our delicious food was our fabulous server, Yasmine!!! She was absolutely delightful, very helpful with our food selections, and extremely attentive! Best service we've had at any restaurant in a long time!! Thank you, Yasmine, for helping our first experience at L&M be a fabulous one! We look forward to coming back and trying new things on the menu! Be sure to make reservations! read more

Incredible food. Steaks on point, apps are SO fun and creative, and there's no shortage of fresh, unique flavors. Saturday night dinner service is impressive- it's clear the kitchen works their asses off, they seem to communicate well with each other, and the servers and hosts are talkative and pleasant even though it's loud and busy. The Steak Toast with the Arugula, Mushrooms and Balsamic hit every aspect you would want it to. I had the Pork Chop and Wow simply WOW! I've never had a Pork Chop like this, it was Super Tender and still had great Crispiness and the Mustard Beurre Blanc was AWESOME! We had a side of the Heirloom Carrots as a side for the table and holy cow you have to order these with the Crispy Short Rib pieces mixed in with the Carrots!
