I would not bring kids here unless they are older or well behaved, but they do have a kids menu. Awesome! Food wise: fun and creative choices that were well planned. Beautiful presentation. Sides were yummy! Halibut was a little under seasoned. Pork was a tad dry. Wagyu was a pretty fatty, but absolutely nothing to complain about. We love Lewis & Main for date nights & when family is in town. Great bartender, atmosphere & hard working kitchen! Disappointed in the very long awaited wagyu burger tonight. Took quite a while to come out. Hubs & I both got burgers and the top bun was inedible with salt (literally had a napkin full of salt) tried to scrape it off with no resolve and overwhelming yellow mustard, bummer for two $25 burgers. But everything else we've had here has been great & will be back! The burger would've been pretty good without those hiccups. read more

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We came on arguably the hottest day anyone living in PNW has experienced. Being an open kitchen did not play in their favor. They brought in large fans to help move the air. The sound in restaurant was deafening and was hard to carry conversation at our table without yelling. I had the hazy ipa (though was not very hazy) and the nw ipa which was good. We ordered Caesar salad to start. Enjoyed the homemade croutons. I had the aubergine and my wife had the halibut and both were very good. I love the fresh, local, and seasonal produce used in the dishes. Baby zucchini and Shishito peppers tasted like they were just plucked from the garden. Good flavor profiles. We also got a side of Mac and cheese and was okay. I compare all Mac and cheese with Beechers, there is some work there. I hope the menu changes with the season. Exciting to see how they use the rest of the space. Hopefully they are waiting for Covid restrictions to lift. Staff was very polite. Would love to see some more vegetarian options on menu as there aren't a lot of places in town that catered to us. What an amazingly fresh addition to Monroe! In the old Adam's building. New owners revamped the interior and menu, with keeping some familiar favorites. They had only been open a few days when I visited and it was a true delight. Food and drinks did not disappoint! Had the mussels, Brussels, corn bread, and pork belly... and of course a main-hatten and a old fashion with both were delicious and stiff. I cannot wait to come back and when covid is over with so I can sit at the bar! Great job guys read more

It's a swanky joint for sure with dim lighting and overall a good date night ambiance. The meals range from moderate upscale classics to high end American dishes the bar is fully loaded and equipped to do anything from coors light and rum&cokes to a fine wine and Smokey Manhattans the prices do reflect but worth the occasional visit. The service was attentive and pleasant so you'll drop a dime on that one but you get what you pay for you can easily drop a couple hundred bucks but it's a nice way to treat you and significant other. read more

This place was amazing!! My husband and I saw it recommended on Facebook so we decided to head over and try a cocktail and appetizer. We had the Main-hattan and French Martini for drinks. Started with the shrimp dogs and then tried the steak toast. Both were delicious. Steak toast was my favorite but the shrimp dogs were also very tasty. The food was amazing (I had the halibut), of course! It was so great to be able to be up from to the action in the kitchen! All of the Chefs and sous Chefs made a point to take a moment to chat with us even though they were very busy. The bartender, Blake, made me a custom cocktail that was next level for my taste buds! Had the best halibut of my life here. Over the course of this meal, Chef Soult provided an impressive assortment of tightly prepared, flavorful, seasonally appropriate dishes. The high-quality ingredients really shine through, always accented. Don't be deceived by the rustic décor and toned-down flatware, the food here is remarkably complex. If you can get a reservation (which is surprisingly tricky), you won't be disappointed. Loved all of our dishes - halibut, seasonal Foie Gras + Nutella reduction, Mussels & Sausage, steak toast, baked mac n' cheese with a delicious helping of puff pastry, 2 different Crème Brule's that were absolutely perfect. The sample of the Homemade Pappardelle Short rib dish of the gods was also great.    Our server had full freedom in pairing the wine and beer with the dishes flowing to our table and her knowledge was spot on for each course.   I will be going back ASAP! read more

My wife and I went to Lewis & Main for our anniversary dinner. We had a reservation, and were seated immediately. Our waitress was quick to take our drink order, and came back in a timely manner to take our order. The wait for our food seemed a bit long for the number of other customers in the restaurant, so that was a little disappointing. I had the Wagyu New York steak and my wife had the pork chop. My steak was cooked perfectly as requested, but it wasn't as tender as I had expected, and the flavor was a bit bland. The potatoes were very good, however. My wife's pork chop was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. Overall we were pleased with our first time visit. If it wasn't for the long wait for our food and my steak being fairly bland, I'd have given it five stars. We will most likely be back... I saw a few plates of the Prime Rib go by and I am dying to try it! read more

This is a trendy spot that appears to have live music. I entered through the side entrance and was told no one has come through this way. They offer a variety of add on items for salads or entrees. My friend ordered a lobster tail add on and I ordered a wedge with Mac and cheese added on. The prices are average to average high. Everything is under $30 except the steaks. The wedge was delicious. The Mac and cheese add on was penne pasta and way more food than I could eat in one sitting. We started with the corn bread and it is covered in honey. I am not a fan of honey but I didn't read the description and it was otherwise very good. I didn't order anything alcoholic but my pregnant friend did get a virgin mojito (she liked it). Our server was pleasant and the place definitely has ambiance. This was my first outing in Monroe and I enjoyed the experience. I would return and order a steak next time. read more

Holyyyy Cow this was an amazing restaurant!! First time patron, now a life long fan. Ben was our server for tonight and was exceedingly personable as he enthusiastically helped guide our night out. Started with drinks and a special "birthday cornbread" taster which was next level service and thoughtfulness to start off the night. And that cornbread is so good it's also next level! Then onto appetizers of the wedge salad and braised beef toast. Both were excellent! The braised beef was so tender and flavorful! Then we moved onto the entrees of the Pork Chop and Halibut. Now...let's just savor this for a moment as I try to describe these delectable dishes. I'm not a fan of pork chops. Let me just put that out here. My partner ordered this. This thing was about 2 inches thick at a minimum. Cooked to perfection. Juicy, with an exterior char to it that was SO flavorful that my partner was fending off my fork as I tried to steal multiple bites. I ordered the Halibut. This was perfectly cooked! Flaked apart at the touch of my fork but was cooked through without underdone areas. And the morel and pea side was so great tasting that I'm still fantasizing about it! (For a little more perspective- I'm famous for disliking green vegetables. Raving about them is not in my repertoire.). For dessert we had the lemon blackberry...I don't know what it was. Cake? Tart? Work of art on a plate?? Honestly, this was the best meal I've had in years. Everything from the atmosphere, the service, the food was perfection. Carefully thought out and executed with care and thoughtfulness. I applaud you Lewis and Main team! And we WILL be back for more mouthgasms!! read more

Wow!!! My wife and I came here for our first date night since having our baby girl and we're BEYOND impressed with the food quality, service and overall experience! To be honest we didn't know what to expect but we're blown away by the excellence in service and knowledge from our waiter Will, the lively atmosphere coming from the open kitchen and most importantly the mouth watering food that satisfied every craving we had! We had an absolutely amazing experience tonight. From the cocktails to the entrees, everything was on-point! This is the best fine dinning restaurant east of Seattle, AND it's located in Monroe. We are so glad it is here! We were lucky enough to have Will as our server, who was a treat. We chose the Steak Toast, Mussels & Bacon, as well as the Short Ribs. First off, ALL of the ingredients were so above anything else we have had. The ingenuity of each dish was astounding. The Mussels & Bacon were so tasty we brought the broth home! The Steak Toast was incredibly fresh and hearty (would be a great Lunch option if they did Lunch, hint-hint). The Short Ribs was a modern, deconstructed rendition of Mama's "Stew" but sooooooo much better (don't tell my mom). All together so happy they are here! Our experience was so good that we made on-going reservations every month! If you ever stop in Monroe, this is definitely the place you need to stop! read more

You guys! You must go here. This little gem snuck in during Covid and I'm sorry I didn't discover it sooner. We got to go for Valentine's Day, while they were running a tasting menu so we got to experience lots of different dishes. All the food reminded me of my favorite comfort food but in an elevated way. The baked feta was like a grilled cheese and tomato soup, but a million times better. I could lick the carmelized tomatoes off the plate by themselves the potato dumplings reminded me of a casserole my grandma used to make, and were one of my faves. The mussels were reminiscent of the best clam chowder on a cold day. Steaks, salmon crudo, and lobster mac were all delicious. The service was phenomenal, especially considering how busy they were!
