I had two other contractors give me quotes and state that no modifications are needed. Jason at Aquapro admitted that this is how they make money on customers that the home warranty sends them. They add vague "modifications" that aren't covered to the work-order when nothing actually needs to be modified so they can charge out of pocket charges. I told my home warranty and provided proof from the other quotes I received. Both Aquapro and First American Home Warranty are cheating their customers.

The checkout employees took an unusually long time to process our order and provided inaccurate information. We were told that the fountain would be delivered and assembled, and we specifically emphasized that we needed it as soon as possible because we had an event scheduled for Saturday. We were also told that someone would call us with a delivery date. By Sunday, we still had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status of the order. I was placed on hold and never transferred. When I called again on Monday, I was told that a forklift had broken down and deliveries could not be made. I also learned that the notes on my order incorrectly stated that I wanted the fountain delivered by Saturday, when in reality I had clearly explained that I needed it delivered before Saturday. From that point on, I had to follow up daily through Wednesday just to get updates on my delivery. When the fountain was finally dropped off, I discovered that it would not be assembled as originally promised. To make matters worse, despite the delay, the display fountain had not even been cleaned before delivery. I understand that it was the last one available, but I would have expected it to be cleaned and presented in acceptable condition. Instead, I paid full price for a fountain that looks like something purchased secondhand on Facebook Marketplace--and honestly, I've seen items there in much better condition. Overall, the lack of communication, inaccurate information, repeated follow-up required on my part, and poor condition of the product made this a very disappointing experience.

After several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to visit my local Ace Hardware store, which is conveniently close to my home. When I arrived, I explained the situation to the supervisor, Craig. From that moment on, he went above and beyond to help. He first tried assisting me with placing the delivery order directly from my phone, but the system continued to have issues. Rather than giving up, he spent a considerable amount of time working through options with me and ultimately suggested that I place the order for pickup. He then personally assured me that he would make sure the grill was delivered. Since it was Thursday and I needed the grill by Saturday, I was hopeful but not entirely sure it would happen. To my surprise, I received a personal phone call from Craig on Friday letting me know that his driver was on the way with my grill. This level of customer service is exceptional and not something you typically experience at a large box store. Craig took complete ownership of the situation, followed through on his promise, and exceeded my expectations every step of the way. A huge thank you to Craig for going above and beyond. For the amount of money involved in completely remodeling a pool, they are sub par and not dependable. Immediately following the remodel, it was discovered that the pool deck was very uneven, making it difficulty to traverse without tripping. The tile was flicking off the pool's interior perimeter within the first few months of completion. Richard did not answer calls for help. The remodeled pool was re-done a year later, which was terribly expensive. At that time it was learned that the plumbing was poorly done with the skimmer not level. And the rebar in the concrete pool deck was to be lifted and placed within the concrete when poured, was not. It lay beneath the concrete, not doing the job that it needed to do. From their actions, I can sincerely say, they do not care about their workmanship or the customer's money being spent.

We got Aqua…read morePool's name from the Jandy website as an authorized Jandy service company so we gave them a call. We scheduled an appointment with them to come out. The technician arrived on time, he was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He identified the problem and suggested that there were two options for us, explained pros and cons of both options, and they would have to spec out the costs and send us a quote. We got a quote for both options in a couple of days. The quotes were fair from the research I'd done. I spoke with Gary who was great and we chose to replace the whole unit with a newer model that integrates with a phone based app. We scheduled for the replacement installation and the technician came back on time again. He got everything installed, everything pre-registered with Jandy for warranty purposes, and then took the time go over how the system works; he also made some recommended adjustments based on our setup. Overall, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. I would highly recommend them. We will definitely be using them again for any future pool issues that we run into.
