We heard that this restaurant was one of the best new restaurants in Manhattan and wanted to try it out. Upon our arrival, we were impressed with the decor. It's elegant yet not fussy. Good for a family meal or a romantic dinner for two. We decided to have the scallops for an appetizer and they were delicious. Just enough for two people. We had the beef tips and Japanese snapper as our mains and they were very good. For dessert we had the apple pie with salted caramel gelato. Although the filling was good the crust was a bit overdone. The service here was efficient but we felt it could have been more friendly and engaging.

Came here with a group of seven because of wanting a reservation and the early Yelp reviews. Overall a really nice experience. A simple decor with tables along the side, friendly and patient service, and delicious food. We ordered virtually every app and side and those (as always) were the hit. I especially liked the beet salad with goat cheese and pistachios and the truffle giant potato wedges (not what I expected but delish nevertheless), but there wasn't a trace of an app left. Shortrib entree was the hit, and all three desserts we tried were very good, especially apple pie. Surviving in NYC must. Be extremely challenging. I hope Leslie makes it because we had a great time!

Such a sweet little restaurant. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and the dishes I ordered were great. I just started a 90-day trial for work and will be in the area for the next few months and will absolutely return. I'm so happy to learn it's only a couple blocks from where I'm staying. Highly recommend, Leslie's!

Queen spot in Murray Hill. Came onto my radar after seeing him purchasing a Pulsd voucher. The voucher entails two drinks per person and an entrée per person. Even in the daylight, I have to say, it gives off cute date vibes. I know the spot is relatively new, opened within the past two years, but I do see potential. The drinks on the brunch menu, regardless of the voucher, is only $10 each. The entrées on the brunch menu range from typical and classic brunch items to entrées that fit for dinner. We ordered the pasta and chicken and waffles. Although the pasta had great flavor, it did disappointed in that it was a bit overcooked. But, do add the burrata! The chicken and waffles, classic brush item, did taste good. The chicken was very flavorful and well cooked. Crunchy on the outside and moisten the inside. However, the waffles were a bit soggy. The sauce, hot honey, balanced the dish as a whole. Relatively speaking, I think it is worth trying the restaurants and making a decision of your own.

Attentive service, incredible food and warm and welcoming decor make for an excellent night in NYC. Highly recommend. Several dishes are stand outs, my favorites: the short rib, the scallops, and the branzino but you really can't go wrong with this menu. Fantastic addition to the neighborhood.

    Chicken piccata Fresh pasta

Amazing new addition to the neighborhood! What a pleasant surprise. The onion soup was some of the best I have had, topped with a cheesy crouton. The chicken piccata came with fresh pasta and a small salad.. The sauce was perfect and the chicken was moist. The inside is cozy and warm. The staff is attentive and kind. I will definitely be back again!

Food is delicious and the service is on point! Definitely try the tuna tartar and mussels! They only opened for about a month and I've already been there 3x!

    Roasted Salmon

The food was absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts, crispy octopus, salmon, and tres leches dessert all slapped hard. This place definitely should be busier relative to the quality of food and service.

    Cosmo-perfection for the spring!

It's loud especially when they open up the patio doors. You get all the noise from the street!

Our meals were so on point, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The service was perfect. It's a low key vibe with exceptional meals.

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

I liked how they organized the menu by country/geography to facilitate an understanding of the flavor profiles. I got two of the date & fig-flavored smoked whisky drinks and it was a well made, balanced, and very good. Not cheap at some $25 or something, but middle of Manhattan with some creative ingredients means I guess it is what it is. Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. One the one hand I get it, on the other hand you've got two paying customers on a slow night.

Patent Pending is has such cool speakeasy vibes, think dimmed lighting and candles at each table in a very intimate space. Our plan was to get wine and a cheese board however, the kitchen was closed due to a family emergency. We could only order chips or bar nuts with our drinks. Disappointing but what can you do? We ordered both the chips and bar nuts to go along with our drinks. And instead of wine, I opted for a cocktail! They have a pretty extensive cocktail menu with all these crazy concoctions. I went for the Strange Magic which was citrusy and refreshing. I'll definitely be back to visit again and hopefully next time will get the cheese board :)

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

The well-crafted cocktails present thoughtful riffs on the classics, inventive without being showy. While the dim lighting and intimate atmosphere practically beg for a secret rendezvous (there's an ostrich involved), I met up with a friend for the decidedly unscandalous purpose of doing our intention setting for the year over libations and nibbles. I opted for a pastel sour while my companion asked for a drink called The Last Word - it was no longer on the menu but they obligingly made it for us anyway. The menu consists of mostly small plates and is seafood forward, but we shared a petite dish of steak frites, tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. Our server was very sweet but service was slow on the night, and by the time we received our utensils the food was cold. However we were not rushed and were able to linger a bit to finish our conversation. For those who savor finely concocted cocktails paired with fresh raw bar offerings in a salon-like setting, this is the spot for you.
