Really great happy hour! This includes some really great deals on food and drinks and is available anywhere at the bar or restaurant. Goes until 630 on weekdays. On top of that, the food and drinks are very good! Would love to try to go for an actual dinner in the future.

Good happy hour daily! Cute little Bistro and the white stuff was attentive and the food was good. The old-fashioned was really good

Watched some games here. Its great to catch a drink or have a proper dinner. They also have an amazing jazz night on wednesdays too. Everything on menu is great but if you end up in good time for early dinner their 3 course dinner is sooooooo worth it. So much food in all courses and taste is top notch too.

Service was a bit slow when there were only 4 other tables on a random Tuesday for lunch. The steak wasn't even warm even though it was cooked properly at medium rare. I also expected a little more steak for $50, but the fries were actually pretty crispy and well salted. I probably won't go back with the service being so slow when it wasn't even busy.

Had lunch there yesterday on a beautiful day on there outside patio. There's a few things to note. Although I enjoyed my lunch of the Chinese chicken salad , the service is sub par. The place was empty inside and there was only me and another table outside. The server was extremely slow , almost non existent. What should have been an hour for lunch turned into an extra 30 min. And to top it off, the waiter disappeared and took a break and I had to go inside the get my check. I will say the food is good. The pineapple upside down cake is amazing. The other thing to note is the patio is located next to a public seating area, so choose a seat far away from That or you'll hear people taking loud in their cell phones and vaping and smoking. If they work out these kinks it will be more enjoyable.

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

I liked how they organized the menu by country/geography to facilitate an understanding of the flavor profiles. I got two of the date & fig-flavored smoked whisky drinks and it was a well made, balanced, and very good. Not cheap at some $25 or something, but middle of Manhattan with some creative ingredients means I guess it is what it is. Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. One the one hand I get it, on the other hand you've got two paying customers on a slow night.

Patent Pending is has such cool speakeasy vibes, think dimmed lighting and candles at each table in a very intimate space. Our plan was to get wine and a cheese board however, the kitchen was closed due to a family emergency. We could only order chips or bar nuts with our drinks. Disappointing but what can you do? We ordered both the chips and bar nuts to go along with our drinks. And instead of wine, I opted for a cocktail! They have a pretty extensive cocktail menu with all these crazy concoctions. I went for the Strange Magic which was citrusy and refreshing. I'll definitely be back to visit again and hopefully next time will get the cheese board :)

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

The well-crafted cocktails present thoughtful riffs on the classics, inventive without being showy. While the dim lighting and intimate atmosphere practically beg for a secret rendezvous (there's an ostrich involved), I met up with a friend for the decidedly unscandalous purpose of doing our intention setting for the year over libations and nibbles. I opted for a pastel sour while my companion asked for a drink called The Last Word - it was no longer on the menu but they obligingly made it for us anyway. The menu consists of mostly small plates and is seafood forward, but we shared a petite dish of steak frites, tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. Our server was very sweet but service was slow on the night, and by the time we received our utensils the food was cold. However we were not rushed and were able to linger a bit to finish our conversation. For those who savor finely concocted cocktails paired with fresh raw bar offerings in a salon-like setting, this is the spot for you.
